Exactly that's a straight up regret.

The below seems like you are still under consideration.

I bought a windows 2008 Bootable disc, inserted it and turned on the ssystem but nothing happened...the Windows Resume Paggge still came up and the cd is not even turning in the drive E
RobinHez:
Ur best bet is a Linux live cd e.g. Ubuntu as it is faster and more convenient.
Also u could use a windows live cd.
Well a windows xp/7/8 disc costs nothing more than #100 at a computer store. If u stay around ikeja, you can get it at computer village.
Once that is done, insert the disc into ur disc drive and restart it.
When it tries to boot, u'll see a prompt asking u to press any key to boot from cd. Press any key!
Then the system would load some (setup) files After which u'll meet a windows splash screen. Select ur language and click next.
U'd see a 'repair your computer' link at the bottom left of your screen. just click on it.
You'd see a dialog box asking you to select your operating system.
now here's the trick...be careful now
On that dialog box, u'll see a 'load drivers' button>click on it and select ok...this should open a mini file explorer.
Open my computer, and open your Local disc/hard disc.
Scroll down and look for the hyberfil.sys file and then delete it.
Close all open windows, remove the disc and restart your system.

All things been equal, it should bootup normally.

Where can I get a windows os disc? Plz how can I delete the said file with the os disc?lz elaborate more bro. Give me a step by step breakdown of the aproach. Thank you for finding time to help
RobinHez:
Ok bro...lemme explain something to you.
There's a file on ur hard disk renamed hiberfil.sys
That's the data saved by ur system for hibernation. We'll have to delete that file to enable windows startup normally...That's where a Live Cd comes in...
Try getting a windows os disc.

...Also just 4 trying sake...try the spacebar instead of enter.

My brother was watching a movie (CD) on my laptop. He didn't close the movie but hibernated the laptop with the cd still in the drive E. After some time he just pressed the eject buTton on the cd compartment and ejected the cd instead of booting the system, closinng the half watched film b4 ejectinng the disk.
I tried to on the laptop after this incident but the laptop has refused to boot. It gets stucked up at one "wwindows resume loader" page giving me two options to choose from but I cannt click on any because my keyboard is not responding too.
Plz who knows how I cann tackle this problem or any place in lagos I can take it to? Thanks

You are 100 percent wrong!!!! This is why marriages crash. You go after girls only when you had made money and I bet guys like you showcase their material possesions while wooing a lady. I have seen scenarios whereby a girl iss dating a guy just because she loves his car and a sexy furniture in his sitting room...and they are planning on getting married...now tell me how such relationships can survive for years?? When a guy is looking for job or starting life newly is the best time to go into a relationships...sso that when the wealth eventually comes you will never think that your spouse is with you cos of your wealth. When you have nothing but only dreams and potentials is when you will find your true love
gonzaga:
Somethings are just logical. Imagine going out for a date, only for the rain to begin in the middle of nowhere while waiting for a drop/bus.

Someone won't have a job to cater adequately for himself and will be thinking of babe and all...

Let's forget this theory of starting with nothing and all that crap. The world has evolved and you can no longer play love on an empty wallet.

Certain things are just basic, one of which is mobility. Except you are dating one bushmo or local girl....

You are smart, you are loyal, we appreciate your type, your man is lucky, Gods blessings will keep locating you,God bless your mom, bless your state, thank you for the hope of a good kind, once again We appreciate.
CoCoLav:

I have noticed its guys that feel its not convenient. My man was always complaining about the car ish and how its too stressful moving around. I kept telling him that buying a car then was unnecessary because he had a lot of pending projects. He finally bought the car and though it made things easier I missed our strolls and walks. During those walks we discuss and settle pending issues, play, hold hands and stuff. With the car now its fiammmm and before you know it you are at your destination. Really boring but more comfortable.

Without mincing words, you are the one that sound unexposed and one with a worthless over sized ego

@tony, is absolutely correct. It is either you know the truth and just hiding it or you are confused.

Why are you doing 3D design in probably your room which equally serve as your office. Why not go and pick up a job in Insight Communications, DDB and other big firms?

This is the reason why most illiterates end up being far richer than the so called "well read" individuals.

A situation where a professor is a tenant to a woman who has sold akara by the road side all her life and have used her earning to train her children through the university.

Guy, I know businesses one can do and make at least N100,000 in a month without having a university certificate. Companies and even rich individuals will be begging for your service.

Someone mentioned installing DSTV and you shut him down. Just yesterday (MONDAY) a guy came as early as 8am to just reconnect my dstv cable in my room as it wasn't picking signal from the living room. I paid this guy N3,000 for less than a 10mins job. Guess what? While at my place he got 2 other calls from clients to come over to fix one thing or the other. Lets assume he made a total of N7,000 yesterday, even if he doesn't make any other thing till next week, give or take at the end of the month, this same guy you are laughing at because of the nature of his job is making at least N28,000/ month which of course I know is way more than that.

Is he not better than those who just sit at home and eat free food and even beg for as little as N100 to recharge their phone?

This current incessant decrease in oil price has nothing to do with demand and supply, shale gas exploration.......it is purely political. U.S having seen that sanctions dnt bite Russia much has resolved to crash russia's economy through crashing the price of russia's main export. It is so unfortunate that opec is not really independent. Saudi Arabia refused to cut opec's oil output knowing fully well that it will stop the dwindling of oil prices. I am sure washinghton persuaded them to do so. They would be compensated heavily by washinghton.
I don't understand why european countries and other countries decided to be american puppets and servants even to their own detriment. Washinghton persuaded european countries not to allow the south stream gas project inorder to undermine moscow's trade with wetern europe. I still don't understand why they are scared of an independent and prospering russia

Guy....you aint communicating atall!!
wo1F:

There's is no right or wrong way to answer this. The whole idea is for you to take them through your thought process.

For instance, I might go this way;
Since I've offered to step down my approach not because its way off but cos I see a lot of convergence in the build up to with our respective positions, I'll now have to take it further by moving to play the devil's advocate on the guy who's approach I genuinely believe to be weaker compared to the other chap.

In playing the devil's advocate, I'd pitch tent with the guy who's submission I feel is weaker but doesn't just know it, yet. This may be due to ego and his determination not to loose bragging rights to a colleague he feels he's light years ahead of in all fields of endevour.

So I will side him for the purpose testing the quality of his argument and identify weaknesses in its structure, and to use such information to abandon his original opposing position. In taking this route, I'd have taken a stance that would have been seen as unpopular or unconventional, but is actually another way of arguing a much more conventional stance without bruising the ego of any of these two gladiators. In seeing the "poverty" of his submission he'd [hopefully though] have no option but to go with a more roboust and encopassing opinion of someone that is not even me!

Agreed there would have been a little down-time with this particular approach to a compromise, it would have gone a long way to preserving the team spirit and unity which we both know is mission critical to the successful accomplishment of any team work.

My 3coins.
