If they are sucking babies or minors between age 0 to 6 and are absolutely dependant on their mother for their daily well-being, then, the possibility of considering them to interview with the F2- mother is higher.

The F2- mother should go with the kids, a relative and their documents, and if the kids are not allow in they should hang with the relative. However, the mother should go in with the kids documents and narrate the situation to the consular. Some consular might ask you go and fetch the kids in while some will place you on 221g in order to bring them back on another day or upload their documents to the embassy.

If none of the above happened then the F2- mother (3-months) visa won't affect anything on the kids application. I still believe that F1-visa must be flexible in terms or renewal , entry , etc regardless of how many days or weeks or months or year that is being issued.

As a quick stunt, let the F2 - mother apply for Emergency request for the kids by attaching her appointment letter , perhaps, the embassy might open dates for the kids which will align with the mother's date.

NB. Children under age 14 are exempted from verbal interviews but they must appear physically, or via drop box, or by email and that should be only on their appointment day. 👍

Go with the kids on your interview date, take along their documents. On your DS-160 you declare travelling with your children anyways, they only need to be physically present, no interviews if they are minor. Children under the age of 14 would be allowed in, unless the situation in Nigeria has changed.

The consulate discourages applicants from emailing for updates until 60 days. I'm on 54 days now.

I'd say applying for F2 allows you to see your spouse regularly since the current visit visa is now 3months and single entry.

If you are looking for excuse to stick to F2-visa then an answer like :

1. My present employer extended my employment duration with salary increment or a long time multi -million Naira contract you and your team have been hoping for just materialized during the time of the F1/F2 visa process hence , it is likely you join your partner at the end of the contract , meanwhile B1/B2 wil not accord me that opportunity.

2. F2 visa is the natural visa for me to apply for as the partner of the f1 because I may likely join my partner the moment I finish the various activities I needed to finish in Nigeria .

3. Or I am still undecided if I want to join my partner finally hence, I only want to visit him once and decide if I will change to B2 (visitor) in my subsequent visits.

Those are few excuses that will sound reasonable to any consular if you are applying for F2 visa with the intention to visit and not to join your spouse. 👍

The most important aspect is the ideology you promote or support through your page. As long as it doesn't align with any political or religious extremism, or support terrorism, you should be fine. Additionally, some individuals who recently completed their interview were asked to update their DS-160 form with their social media accounts afterward.

Hello all, please I need some guidance. My visa interview in this month at the Abuja office. When I filled my ds-160 form, I only mentioned my twitter, instagram, linkedin, and facebook accounts, but i still have 3 more that i did not mention (tiktok, youtube, and pinterest). However, this was before the visa interview pause and the new stricter guidelines on listing and reviewing all your social media accounts. I am somewhat active on all 3, so they would be easily discoverable.
1. Should i inform them about the accounts or wait?
2. Did anyone here mention the remaining accounts to the officers at the embassy?
3. How do i go about informing the consulate officer about the remaining accounts?
4. Will it affect my chances of getting a visa?

After you pay and book, go to "My Dashboard" , then you'll see your appointment there...click view details, and after that you'll see "create emergency request".. From there it's straight forward.

Good morning, I also paid my visa fee tru card and don't receive any payment receipt in my email, but the person who help me pay screenshot the payment successful page ,that what I took to the embassy, I was asked at the embassy why did I use card, I replied by saying i was told is very fast.so they only confirmed the reference number on the payment receipt.

Yes, the receipt was provided at the bank, unfortunately the support line insisted that they don’t issue receipts, only option is to get an invoice or payment receipt for MRV from the issuing bank or financial institution used in making the payment.
Please who else had same challenge and how did you resolve it?
