TravelRe: What Do Nigerians Do For A Living When They Travel Abroad? by Cherishedcyn: 6:59am On Aug 13, 2019
post=81200652:
Some go to school to get a good job and a good life thereafter,
While others constitute nuisance and go into a life full of fraud.

It all depends on the individual.

We always wonder how some people will have such good opportunity but be comfortable doing crime.

Some have heads but don't have caps,
Some have caps but no heads.

We will get there too someday.

This deserves to be on Front Page.
You've said it all man.
Nothing to be added!

Mature and reasonable minds right here!
You've said it all Guys!
It is just so appaling reading comments from some kids here!
Thank you jare, I got riled up reading the silly and insensitive comments.

This platform has a huge potential at disseminating useful information and sensitizing Nigerians but it keeps promoting stupidity.

Btw, I'm a woman.

This suppose to be a very engaging and reasonable thread but from the replies I have seen in over 3 Pages I have to conclude two things :

Nairaland is dead and not what it used to be.

Or

Nigerian youths are becoming dumber and loosing intellect.
It is a combination of both.

I saw the headline and was looking forward to reading people's experiences. First it was the English teachers, followed by the kids who have failed to realise that there's dignity in labour.

The stupidity on this nairaland is epic sha. A poster asked what people in diaspora do and around 80% of the response seen is coming from jobless, lazy youths who probably haven't been in an aircraft before.

In saner climes you'll see people wait for those with experience to come and drop their input but no, every idiot here has to use this opportunity to exhibit his/her stupidity...must you commenthuh??

Again, what's with the job shaming people who do legal menial jobs to make a living abroad? Shows how lazy and silly the lot of you are.

Let's exercise those dead brain cells of some of you. Calculate the average minimum wage in Europe of 10 euros (Where 1 euro is equivalent to 390 naira) per hour by 40 hours a week. How many jobs can give you such salary in a week in Naija?

I know all these silly yapping na because una never get the opportunity. If some of the idiots dancing upandan on this thread reach the abroad, tori go change.

When them call una lazy youths una go begin para but that's what you all are; lazy Nigerian youths.

If I've learnt nothing in this my sojourn abroad, it's the fact that only a lazy man can be found wanting here.

To all the guru in the house, I need sincere advise on my issue please, I have secured admission to master program in Information Technology in Ireland and France respectively, I was at dilemma, anybody with practical experience should please advise on which country should I go for. from my point of view, I was offered the same course with almost the same school fees. but the only difference there is that in France the course will last for two years with 6000euros per year, while in Ireland the course is just for a year with tuition of about 12,000 euros. I want to go for the best option. I want to consider a country that will give me high potential and best opportunity in term of job and career.

kindly advise. Thank you.

attention justwise, ICaSNg
For me I think the only major difference between the two options is language. I've come to realise that most European countries have about the same system and MO due to factors like the EU laws and directives.

In terms of stay back options, you get 24 months permit to look for work after your studies in both countries. From what I've seen so far, Ireland has the potential to employ IT guys who know what they're doing asap, don't know how it is in France.

PhonesRe: Have You Ever Sent Message To Someone It Was Not Meant For ? by Cherishedcyn: 11:59am On Jun 03, 2019
In 2012 while doing my final year project, I typed a text message to a friend expressing my displeasure on how my supervisor was trying to sleep with me and mistakenly sent the message to the supervisor. I died and resurrected a few times waiting for my supervisor to call back. He never did and I got an A in that project. I still can't explain how I crossed through but I have a few theories. One, the guy drinks a lot and maybe the night I sent it he read it but was too drunk to understand. Two, the text dropped and my course rep who was his side guy then, read it and deleted immediately. Anyway, I'm just happy it didn't end badly.

Hello guys!

I'm considering starting a blog.

I initially wanted it to be something I'm quite passionate about but unfortunately it's not a topic (sustainable development) Nigerians are interested in. The options I see people care so much about are stuff like celebrity gossips and the likes.

I actually cringe thinking of getting stuck blogging about such mundane things but it's where the traffic is so...

Depending on his grade and university preference and also considering fluctuations in FX, #4.3m

Cheers
Thanks for your response.

He has a 2.1 BSc. and is rounding up his Masters at the moment. No university preference as such but Unis in Limerick or around Limerick would be nice.

Hello everyone,

My friend, an IT professional with over 3 years of experience and a UK masters is looking for an affordable Masters to do in Ireland. What's the cheapest fees he can get in an IT related or project management MSc? Thanks for your responses.
