Sarah Martins blames Yul Edochie for the Super Eagles' failure in the AFCON finals.
Sara Martins the Portuguese-born French actress of Cape Verdean descent has blamed prominent Nollywood actor Yul Edochie for the Super Eagles defeat in the AFCON final.
On her Instagram page, she stated that the Super Eagles lost due to Yul Edochie's predictions before the match began.

The actor now turned pastor had already prophesied that the Super Eagles would overcome the Ivorians hands down.

"The instant Pastor Yul predicted, I knew we were going to lose. He had a chance to prove that God had called him, but if he had not spoken out, they would have won. The Super Eagles lead by two goals to one.

Sarah Martins then called him out for his ambiguous predictions. She wrote in the post:
While many Nigerians agreed with the actress, others flocked to Yul Edochie's Facebook to mock him for his phony prophecy.

The year 2024 seems to be a great year already as different artists are planning on touring different cities in the world. One of those artists making plans to tour cities around the world is Kanye West.

Grammy organizers should do more after the favoritism acts displayed

Hullabaloo around the Grammy Awards will not be going down anytime soon. This is because of the losses that Nigerian musicians encountered during the award ceremony. Davido, Burna Boy, and Ayra Starr all gave their best in the year in review (2023).
To the fans of these artists, it is a hard pill to swallow especially, if you take into consideration the efforts, both human and financial resources these musicians did put into their crafts.
In the different award categories; Burna Boy was defeated in the Best African Music Category by Tyla with the song Water.
On the other hand, Davido lost all three nominations to the different artists he competed with.
However, from what we observed it seems like the American society does not understand that the African society is a highly cultured one. For instance, almost all the songs that won last night were pushing a s*x narrative.
It seems like they want the African artists to redirect their energy toward singing a s*x-filled song. In our opinion, African artists should stick to their culture. Also, It is time to focus on taking our awards to a global stage.

After winning 3 Grammy awards, rapper Killer Mike has been arrested.

The Grammy Awards seem to have been lost and won, and a lot of fans are still reeling from the losses their favorite artists may have encountered in the process.
However, immediately after the awards American rapper, Michael Render, popularly known by his stage name as Killer Mike, was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) for battery and assault on one of the officials of the Grammy committee during a backstage altercation.
In a video that has now gone viral, the 48-year-old rapper was seen being moved by the police in handcuffs. Though he did not resist the arrest, he was seen questioning the police over his arrest.

According to Freddy Roosemont, the Director General of the Office of Foreigners in Belgium, Belgium does not have space for migrants. He made it clear that youths should focus more on achieving success in their own country in this case Nigeria.

What is Yul Edochie trying to accomplish with his church
Yul Edochie has made his intention to become a pastor public by revealing to the world the name of his church- True Salvation Ministry. Earlier this week (23rd) the controversial actor posted the name of his church on Instagram.

However, the actor, who by the way, loves being in the news took some time out yesterday(24th of January) to address his long-time absence from acting, he told his followers and fans alike that he will soon be back on TV.

According to the actor, he believes that it is time to answer his calling to be a man of God. The thing is that Yul Edochie loves to be in the news either for the right or wrong reasons. However, what is not yet known is if this new venture of his is for the long term or a short-term ambition.

In the build-up to his pastoral announcement, Mr. Edochie kept his followers in huge suspense. He had earlier in the day told his followers that he had (in his words) the biggest announcement of his life to make by 4pm of that day (23rd of January), by the said time he informed his followers that he had been ordained a pastor, and went on to reveal the name of his church.

Though it has been days since (his) announcement, a lot of his fans have yet to completely believe him, as they feel that he needs time to understand what he is venturing into. Meanwhile, some feel he has no business being a pastor; these people are judging him by his antecedents.

However, what remains to be seen is who the “Mummy G.O” will be. Anyway, 5pm on Sunday will say a lot.
