OgagaMic: defend u Biafra boundaries we will defend ours, if any region breaks out hausa can't hold us together again, den d west will aggitate 4 oduduwa. buh let me warn them never to touch itskeri, or warri, itsekiri belongs to Niger Delta republic.
point of correction Delta and Edo were nt part of d eastern region , Igbo always want to lord over us, we won't allow u, if u talk till tomorrow we know ourself, we d tym comes we gonna carve our boundaries. , or they should give us resource control..
enough of Biafra this Biafra tat , Enough of foolish Yoruba fighting 1. Nigeria. , we don't want
Biafra can av d Igbo related group if they want dey ain't upto 20% of SS, no alliance with any tribe again, we want our right
God bless u,, God bless GEJ, God bless SS If you are educated you shouldn't be talking of someone lording over you. from your previous post, then better you finish your community differences you guys seem to have a lot before trying to decamp from Nigeria otherwise even among you it wont be easy because you will further divide each village tribe into a country. Having a country Nigeria is not a bad idea just that am not happy with all this their unfair deal to Niger delta and other oil producing states |

lexy2014: B4 1968 d sharing formula was FG 40 regions 60. by 1968 it was FG 80 states 20. Its much better now. Am not †oo sure but 13 percent came about during d abacha era. I don't no what percentage of oil blocks belong †☺ northernerns and other tribes but owning oil blocks doesn't solve a thing. It will still b d same people in niger delta who have used d suffering and pain of their kin †☺ enrich themselves that will still collect d wells. Or is it one unknown fisherman in d creeks that will get oil well? D poverty cycle continues. Folks there are suffering but my point is that with d "little" that has gone in sine 1999, there ought †☺ b a difference. But their govs, elected reps, ministers, militants are living large on d commonwealth of d weak and helpless. They should be able †☺ account 4 all these funds good you analysed well a drop from 80% to 13% has no other explanation but parasitic inclination. Whatever the communites would do with the fund of oil block ownership is nothing for you to worry about.....just like you are not worrying about what the current parasite owners are doing with the money. Niger delta people are a lot more educated and aware of all the ills and when they fight they got all the good reasons too.......their resources have been milked to support all regions in Nigeria for decades I don't think any region will take or endure half of what they have endured. |

lexy2014: 13percent derivation formula or principle was formulated †☺ give succour †☺ oil mineral communities were d actual production is taking place and by so these communities usually bear d brunt of environmental degradation. D federal govt collects taxes and revenues 4 these activities. D states under which we have these communities gets 13percent of all these taxes and royalties on behalf of d communities. So d money is part of d states monthly revenue which is supposed †☺ b used strictly 4 devt purposes in these oil mineral producing communities. That's y I said these monies have always been in d control of niger deltans including NDDC allocations, state and local govt allocations, pipeline protection contracts, constituency allowance 4 state and federal legislator, taxes from oil comapnies, kidnapping proceeds and royalties, oil bunkering proceeds. Hope I was able †☺ clarify things? Just 13% for all the environmental degradation etc hmn! learnt from inception it was suppose to be 60% was revised downwards right from military time till now most of those times nothing was even been paid. What about the 85% Oil blocks ownership that are in the names of northern individuals. Oil block Owners earn like 2 to 4 billion Naira monthly. If its not greed and selfishness with parasitic intensions , those oil blocks are from the communities where they are been drilled and they are suppose to earn what ever money as ownership with other compensation due to environmental issues and also for their resource. |

8 this country. , give us Niger delta republic, tat all we want,... don't quote me if u re nt from SS....
parasites, bomb all d pipe line, Nigeria una go suffer, If you don't co-operate with SE will not go far. They are strong will and very smart , from same region like you.have more similarites than any other region in Nigeria, there was nothing like SS/SE in those days , SS/SE was just one region called eastern region and if you feel because of your oil Imo, Abia even Anambra got oil. Combined force is better than fragments that a better way to win, this was what the Ibo man fore saw years back, Ojukwu was just a young connel maybe he would have done it better, but it was to stay away from things like this from happening other regions taking advantage of the east he fought for.......now its happening good we are all seeing it now. |

More than 85% oil blocks are owned by northern individuals. The licences of most of them are soon to expire. The real owners of the oil blocks are the communities where these oil blocks are found and some compensation should be given to them like royalty also to carry out development in these region. take your brains back from the Hausa and yoruba's, you need to realize that you deserve more than pipeline securities.
