Na only that one what about some Individuals quietly making unmerited money....

More than 85% oil blocks are owned by northern individuals.

Individuals should stop owning oil blocks some receive as much as 2-4 billion naira monthly on these blocks for no work done.

The real owners of the oil blocks are the communities where these oil blocks are found and some compensation should be given to them
like royalty also to carry out development in these region. Its theirs its only right thinking for them to gain from their land.

NNPC should unveil oil block owners.

That is an unjust act on SS people, worse than this missing $20bn NNPC thing , we are currently talking about.

Crazy to think some individual just sleep in their house and every month receive upto about 4 Billion Naira for no work done,

not even having any affiliation with the oil community land owners. The system is so sickening.

Well, a bias constitution only needs ammendment, and that is the reason that each state have representatives in the Legislative houses, we should make sure they do their jobs. I think we channel all of our energies into criticizing the President while ignoring the State government and our Parliamentarians. This should change.

Regarding the civil war, I think it was ill-conceived. That war, was not necessary at that time. The SS/SE was not under threat, the SE/SS people were actively involved in governance as soldiers, so it was a vendetta of some sort, and we paid gravely for it. Today, we are happy that it happened because we are now a feared people, we have risen from the ashes of defeat and have conquered local economies of Nigeria in all of the regions. The fighting spirit of the SS/SE people knows no limitation as individuals but as a group, we are totally dysfunctional. This is where the SW and North derive their strength.
Its to build our weaknesses and continue to strive on our strength. Though nowadays am seeing more common goals & cooperation than we used to have. We should keep it up

Nigeria has been around even before the oil was discovered with the sweat of yoruba/northerners, and Nigeria will still be around when the oil dry-up. Nigeria will never accept the greediness of niger/deltans even with the outrageous allocations you people get. What your tiny akwa-ibom state is getting is more than what the entire western region is getting and we are not complaining, yet our region is more developed than the southsouth and southeast.

What an irony
So Yoruba and Northerner formed Nigeria and not lord Lugard.huh lol! Yeap Akwa-Ibom state deserves that and more .
They are the largest producers of oil now....so they deserve more. Every one Parasites on Niger -Delta its only natural for them to demand more. Lets face it. Their plight is very genuine...

Sure, but before that's done, the UN and the Nigerian Parliament needs to be made aware and accept the outcome of the referendum. Most importantly, the region must show probable about why they want to secede. Such agreement has be based on issues of genocide, human rights abuses of ethnic nationalities and need for survival. At the moment, none of those are happening, so we have to continue with one Nigeria for now until we feel endangered or marginalized.
The constitution itself isn't friendly to SS/SE region......They can bank on that. Well Genocide ones happened during Biafra war!

Majority vote from the concerned regions that wish to no longer be part of Nigeria.

If say SS/SE want to be on their own, they can conduct the vote on SS/SE. Lets say the result is 80% SS/SE vote says they want to be off Nigeria and be on their own, then we know that's what they really want, we let be.

Don't underestimate the collective strength of the Nigerian state, the heat will be too much for you and your militants brothers to bear.

There is no country Nigeria! the interest is all centered around oil. Which is Parasitic

Why do we need a war when we can simply hold a referendum and have UN monitoring team approve a peaceful secession if majority votes for it ?
A lot of people have forgotten that 2015 is not 1966. There is a diplomatic way of seceding today, war is so yesterday.
Majority vote from the concerned regions. If say say 80% SS/SE vote they wont to decamp off Nigeria then we know that's what they really want so be it.

Note

Please elect credible parliamentarians in future so we don't have rumour mongers as our source of information.
Well the list is not exhausted in your post. And the most are northern owners.
No Individual should own oil blocks. Compensation should be given to the communities and some of its fund used to develop the communities because they are the real owners, not all this parasitic owners.......it we don't correct this there will continue to be unrest and if we say Nigeria is one then we should do the right things. why will a sing individual and his family be earning on oil block up to about 4 Billion Naira monthly for no work done. This is a more serious crime than the NNPC missing $20b we are shouting about now.....
