Less than two weeks to the end of application and final submission of the application.

If you are yet to register, pls do, there would be no second extension of registration.

Immediately after the deadline, your timetable would be made public and text messages would be send across, don't panic if you don't receive their text, not everybody would receive it.

The exam is going to last for two weeks. Those writing CBT, your exams are done on Saturdays only.

For paper based, your exams are done on weekdays starting from 9am.


Those applying with certificate, pls you don't need transcript.

Those applying for full-time and asking if they can change to part-time when admitted, YES, you can always change to part-time once you have been granted the admission. I will guide you when the time comes.

Course eligibility still much important, ensure you are eligible for your proposed course before applying crosscheck

If you are applying for MBA and you don't have credit in your English and Maths in your O level, you might be wasting your time as you will be disqualified.

Can Bsc Petroleum Engineering (third class) apply for Msc Chemical Engineering?

Pls reply asap.

With third class you cannot apply for msc chemical engineering. But you can apply for process engineering or PGD chemical engineering.

ensure you are using a laptop or desktop. if you are using a phone, you wont see the passport upload button

The programme is open to candidates with:

Bachelor’s (honours) degree in subjects cognate to Surveying and Geoinformatics such as: Engineering and Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Geosciences, Environmental Sciences, Educational Technology, Information Technology as well as Geography with Mathematics from the University of Lagos or any other recognised University.
Master of Geoinformatics of the University of Lagos with Bachelor’s (honours) degree in subjects cognate to Surveying and Geoinformatics.
Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (MGIS) with relevant Bachelor’s honours Degree of the University of Lagos or any other recognised institution.
Candidates will be required to satisfy the Department in a selection process.

This is because I used two sittings to gained admission for my UG degree while Unilag requres only one sitting.

It is not required at postgraduate level.

Registerationm procedure for 2019/2020 session

After confirmation of your eligibility for your proposed course, 

1. login to applications.unilag.edu.ng

2. Click on start a fresh application

3. select the application type which is postgraduate, input your details

4. generate your remitta and take it to any of the commercial banks and pay the sum of #22500

5. Return back to the portal and click on continue application and Finish up your application.


DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTERATION

1. Degree certificate or statement of result

2. Nysc discharge certificate

3. Professional
Certificates if any

4. Birth certificate

From the news I heard from my inner source, this year has the highest number of application so far, it seems people are beginning to know how relevant postgraduate degree is.

This year having the highest number of applications, implies the competition is stiffer this year.

If you don't want your effort and resources to go down the drain, pls intensify your preparation, do all you can to scale through this, it is actually worth it.


A lot of people have been asking me if the application print out is to be submitted to the department After registration, pls it is not necessary, but if you have excess time you can go and submit. Application is 100% online. You don't need to go to Unilag.

Those asking when to print exam pass, just stay put on the group, you will be informed as the events unfolds.


If you have submitted your application and you felt you made a mistake, you can always pay 1k and reopen it.

The difference between profession masters and academic masters is embedded in their names. professional masters is a work related masters, it finds its relevance in your place of work. you cannot use professional masters to do a PHD program.

MPIA is a professional masters.

Yes, you you can apply for msc public health.

However, ensure you have up to three years post nysc experience.

The current MBA full-time holds class from mon-thur 9am-2pm. I would advice you go for part-time.

If your job is flexible enough and gives you all the time in the world you can go for Full-time.

Hope we all checked our eligibility before applying for our proposed course of study, for me eligibility is the most important thing here because if you ain't eligible for your proposed course and you go ahead to apply, even if you score 100% in your entrance exam you will be disqualified, you just wasted your time, effort and resources, that's why I'm saying this for the umpteenth time. The first step is checking your eligibility.


When you have successfully applied, pls keep your reference number safe, not the remitta number, this is what you will use to access your portal to print your exam pass once the time comes, without exam pass no exam. Exam pass will be made available a week to the entrance exam.


The entrance exam would last for two weeks, you would want to ask why two weeks? It simply because of the volume of applications they record. Unilag records the highest number of application when it comes to postgraduate studies, why? You already know the answer.

Are you disturbed of passport dimension? Worry not, it is immaterial, so long as you are able to upload your passport successfully you are good to go.


Applications ends on the 16th of June, I'm sure at this point everyone should have registered.
If you are yet to register as a result of tight schedule, you can send me private message while I run it for you without you leaving the comfort of your office. I have done registration for at least 20 percent of people in this group so far.
