Today is Children’s Day but many Nigerian children are not celebrating. They are living in fear instead of joy.

Insecurity is getting worse. Kidnapping is now common. People cannot even travel short distances without fear. Every journey feels like a risk. Every phone call at night brings fear.

Families are not at peace. Parents are worried every time their children leave home. Students are afraid. Workers are afraid. Farmers are afraid. Nobody feels safe anymore.

Life is becoming very hard. Food is expensive. Survival is difficult. And yet the fear of insecurity sits on top of everything like a heavy weight.

Government at all levels should focus more on protecting lives and property. Not politics. Not 2027. People are suffering now.

Please and please, help free these children and their teachers.

No child deserves this. No Nigerian deserves this.

We need safety again. We need peace again.

The touching story has since generated reactions online, with many Nigerians praising her loyalty while others called for support for the struggling couple.

I overheard some people on transit in a train discussing about the series of over 6 different secret meetings between Alhaji Kwankwaso and PBAT. They claimed in their conversion that Alhaji Kwankwaso refused to brief the Press the outcome of each of the meetings. They claimed that PBAT has never held such secret meetings with the opposition before and they concluded that Alhaji Kwankwaso was working for PBAT. I dismissed their conclusion in my heart but I am having a second thought upon reading this post.

My secondary school classmate had his head butchered with a matchet, and his right leg cut off at Isolo, Lagos for romancing with another man's wife. Unfortunately, he could not make it, as he died in the hospital after four days.

Whether a man is taking care of his wife or not, leave them alone. It is a family affair. God did not create you to be providing comfort or romance for women who lack such in their marriage. Hon. Benjamin Kalu underrated Gov. Oti because he is the current vocal deputy speaker and he forgot that APC is weak in Abia State. His disagreement with Sen Kalu and polarized APC in Abia State
I don't think he would be able to retain the deputy speaker position after 2027 election and his church mind tod him that contesting against Gov Oti, the transformation governor that gave his wife a political appointment, would be a political suicide.
His best choice would be to abandon his governorship ambition and to be less vocal afterwards.

I recently collected my original WAEC certificate only to discover that my photograph is not visible on it. I reported the issue to my WAEC office in Kaduna and was directed to get the stash album from my secondary school.

Upon approaching the school, they confirmed that the error was from their examination officer but unfortunately they could not find the stash album of my set. When I went back to WAEC with this development, they told me there is nothing they can do.

This is deeply unfair as I did nothing wrong. Has anyone experienced this before? How did you resolve it? Does anyone know the right channel to escalate this within WAEC?

Any help or advice will be deeply appreciated.

I have this friend that got married on time. It was because the woman was pregnant as at the time and the guy was still in school(200level). So he dropped out of school to become a full time husband. That was the excuse he gave back then.

The woman got him the first child and then the second. My friend was living minimal to support the woman, he even rented a shop for her and spent so much on her(I don't want to talk too much).

One day another married man far older than my friend, approached him and advised him to tell his wife to stay away from his family. Apparently, the woman was dating the other man and when the other man decided not to continue the relationship anymore, the woman(my friend's wife) started threatening him and his wife and was acting jealous. It was that same period that it became known that the woman was dating other men and has been promiscuous for years even though they were not helping her with money. It was devastating.


My friend gave alot to that marriage and just like that, he was betrayed. So after everyday quarrel, she left the house.

It been like over 8 months now and my friend has moved on, i assumed so because he was with another girl that nearly caused issues between us


All of a sudden, he wanted the wife back. I advised her against the idea, but she was bent on doing just that. Some people were telling him to take her back like that. The matter tire me sef. So whenever the discussion came up, i would jejely avoid contributing to the talk.


So to the shock of everyone, he brought her and her load back. I don't want to say what on my mind and what am suspecting and at the same time, i could be wrong.

A baby was found in a pipe of Naraguta female hostel of the University of Jos. A Student gave birth and flushed the baby in the toilet. It got stuck and blocked the pipe rendering students helpless and unable to use the toilets.

The authorities of the University then invited plumbers to come and check the cause of the blockage. They broke the pipes and behold a baby was found as the cause of the blockage. Investigation is still ongoing as at the time of writing this story.

Murder has been committed. It would never be well with who ever is responsible for the baby's death.
