I'm writing this with heart full of sorrow because my life is really messed up. For the past two years I have been taking hard drugs like tramadol and emzor.
I have lost my memory because of drugs, most times I forget things easily and it's really affecting my life, because I have lost a lot of things during the period of taking drugs..
The most painful part of it is that one of our female colleagues saw sachet of tramadol in my drawer and told my boss which he later fired me even after begging him.
Whenever I want to stop taking drugs I always feel tired, bored and sad if I don't take it. Most times I always sell my things to buy drugs. If I haven't consume 5 doze in a day I won't feel okay and I'm always angry with my family each time i don't take it.
Please I need your advice and opinion on how I can stop taking hard drugs, Please I want anyone that has been in this position before to enlighten me on how to stop taking drugs..
Insults and abuse are welcome. Please help me push to FrontPage for people to share their opinion with me Thanks

Sorry about your drug addiction.you should be determined to stop taking hard drugs by joining service arms like choir or singles forum or usher unit of your church. The church activities may contribute in taking your mind off hard drugs. The church members could assist you in getting another job.
Do away with friends that are into hard drugs so that they do not negatively influence your decision to quite taking hard drugs

So I am in a relationship with this lady, but the problem is that she already has three children with her ex, not just one or two but three. Two of the children lives with their father while she lives with one.
Despite this, she is an industrious lady who works for her own wellbeing, though I spent money on her once a while but it's not even half of what she spends on me, that is mostly because she has a better financial muscle than I do. She is caring, loving and loyal, she doesn't even have friends and has always been all about her career, when I asked why she didn't end up with her ex, she said it was cos of tribalism, I didn't ask further though.
Now, Getting married to a single parent is not something I wanted but I have dated a lot of rubbish in this country, but this lady was nothing like them and letting her go is not something I want right now.
So my question to those that are married to single parent, what difficulties did u face in ur marriage?
Are members of your nuclear family supporting your relationship with her ? Is she older than you ?
DyshApp: A lady, simply identified as Ene, has given reasons why she dropped out of the Birmingham University, citing unpleasant experiences.
Ene, in a post on social media, on Tuesday, revealed that she dropped out of Birmingham University as she could no longer bear the terrible conditions.
She wrote, “I went to a private university. Phones were not allowed, girls weren’t allowed to make their hair below their shoulders, you cannot wear slippers before 4pm.
“You cannot cook in the hostel so you must buy 3 meals everyday, you will be suspended for missing chapel, you will be suspended for getting abused, once you get to school, you cannot leave again unless you sign an exeat that your parents call to confirm.
“Your department can literally drop you without telling you. When you get to 500 level, they come and tell you to switch to 200 level in another department because your results were poor. And you’ll pay fresh school fees.
“Security men will parade and if they see a boy and girl standing together, they’ll exploit them for money or threaten to set them up for expulsion.”
She noted that she could not cope with all the rules and regulations and had to drop out.
I don't think she has a cogent reason for dropping out of school. If other students can cope and adapt to the rules and regulations of the school, then she would have made efforts to abide by the rules and regulations of the school. She would have also made efforts to study hard inorder to get good grades. What do she want to do with hair that is below her shoulders ?
The Pastor should have read Genesis 1:29 -30 before the presentation of his sermon. The Pastor should know that smokers of cigarette are prone to lung cancer
Doesn't the Benue State APC recognize the leadership of the present Benue State Governor and wouldn't dey also support the Governor for a second term ?
I don't think South Africans are contributing to the economic growth of Nigeria. They are explioting Nigerians via MTN and gotv/dstv and they lost Chidinma Adetshina out of hatred for Nigerians.
The allegation by Mr Dele Farotimi against Baba Afe Babalola were weighty. It a lesson that we should be mindful of the allegations we make against others especially when we do not have enough evidences to substantiate the allegation. As for the white lion of Kogi state, by the time EFCC are done with him he would humble himself.
gohf: Who do you think God was talking to and what do you think is the purpose of his message in Malachi 3. Do you think God who said this would now start talking and caring about money
Mal.3.7 Yet from the days of your fathers You have gone away from My ordinances And have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you," Says the LORD of hosts. "But you said, "In what way shall we return?' (NKJV)
Before you say you are obeying God's word make sure it is not satan that is quoting it for you. Remember how satan quoted from middle of psalm 91 but didn't say dwell in the secret place of God but jump down.
And God was speaking to the priests from Malachi 2, those who had access to God's storehouse. Did you know the priests received the tithe of tithes.
Now you say you obey God, so do you bring ALL your tithe which is 33% do you? Do you give it to the right people ordained by God to receive them?
Before you claim and assume to obey God like Saul verify and confirm what God expects from you
Your commentary was limited to Malachi 3: 7. You did talk much about Malachi 3: 8 -12. When you pay tithe which is one-tenth of your income, you present it to the church. It is important that we pay tithes and offerings to support the growth of churches and evangelism and to inculcate the habit of giving. We give to God in appreciation of what he has given and done to us. I have heard testimonies of people whose tithes are more than one- tenth of their incomes and they do not have any regrets paying tithe. Please read about tithers and givers on the link https://toninatho./2008/06/23/givers-and-tithers/
Kobojunkie: Are you OK? The author of the book of Malachi which is contained in that book you hold made it especially clear that the audience for his message were the members of the clan of Levi who were put in charge of the Temple and the collection of taxes(tithes) in the nation of Israel. What the heck are you thinking quoting what is written there as a Nigerian at another Nigerian? You sure say you dey OK?
You did not answer my question correctly There is no where Malachi 3 that it was mentioned that the audience for the message were members of the clan of Levii and it was also not mentioned in Malachi 3 that the Levi were put in charge of the temple and collection of taxes or tithe. The book you are referring to is the Bible which is the Word of God and the Word of God is applicable to Nigeria Christians as well. Please read about tithers and givers on the link https://toninatho./2008/06/23/givers-and-tithers/
Kobojunkie: Matthew 22 vs 21 deals with the paying of Taxes which these your scammers-in-the-lords are exempt from.
Look, Christianity does mostly the opposite of that which is Jesus Christ so it cannot reasonably be connected in any way to Jesus Christ except for the fact that it pretends to pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
What does your Bible say concerning tithes in Malachi 3: 8 - 12 ?
jesusjnr2020: When You Realize Tithing Didn't Make Solomon Or Elon Musk World Richest Men
The length to which the prosperity preachers were taking the matter of tithing, one would think tithing has made many tithers, themselves inclusive, the richest men in the world, however that couldn't be any further from the truth, because tithing has never made any man to become world's richest, not even one.
Even king Solomon, the only man the Bible called world's richest, it wasn't tithing that made him to become the richest man in history.
In fact God Himself (who made Solomon richer than all those who lived before and after him) said the reason He gave Solomon such an unprecedented amount of riches, was because Solomon didn't ask for riches for himself, but the things that mattered to God.
1 Kings 3:11-13 (KJV)
And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment; Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee. And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.
God bless.
I do not pay tithe because I want to be as rich as King Solomon or Elon Musk or because of what some Men of God say about tithing. Rather I pay tithe in obedience to God's Word in Malachi 3:8-12. There is nothing as good as the blessings that comes from obeying God's Word

Lexzokomo: Hi guys good day, trust you are all good? Please just something that is bothering me, I am 30 yrs old but I have not gone to any tertiary institution but I have the desire to enroll as soon as forms are out.
But the issue now is I don't know wether I can serve after I graduate since I will be more than 30 upon graduation, I read somewhere that I will be likely be issued an exemption certificate.
My question now's is if I was given an exemption certificate I want to know how strong the exemption certificate is when compared to the discharge certificate, in the job market how do they look the exemption certificate?
Thank you
Both the discharge and exemption certificates are very strong as long as they are issued by NYSC and they were not forged. Both certificate can be used to get a job in both public and private sector Don't bother about the strength of both certificate.

eBARCSMFB: Here are some practical tips for saving effectively from a monthly salary of 50K to 100K Naira in Nigeria:
1. Create a Realistic Budget
Track your income and expenses, breaking down your spending into categories like food, transport, rent, and utilities. Allocate a specific percentage (e.g., 10-20%) to monthly savings and treat it as a non-negotiable "expense."
2. Use the 50/30/20 Rule
For simplicity, try the 50/30/20 rule, where 50% goes to needs (rent, food, utilities), 30% to wants (entertainment, extras), and 20% to savings or debt repayment. Adjust these percentages if necessary, especially if you’re earning on the lower end of the scale, but prioritize the savings portion.
3. Automate Your Savings
Set up an automatic transfer to a dedicated savings account on payday. This way, you save first before you have the chance to spend it. Consider platforms like e-barcs, Cowrywise, or Kuda in Nigeria, which offer automatic saving options and even interest on savings. The e-barcs regular savings will help you save your money with an interest of 8% P.A This account is designed for the everyday hustlers, that want to see their funds work for them.
4. Set Small, Achievable Goals
Break down your savings goal into manageable milestones. For instance, if you want to save 50,000 Naira, aim to save 10,000 each month for five months. Track and celebrate small wins to keep yourself motivated.
5. Cut Down on Unnecessary Expenses
Audit your spending to identify non-essential expenses, like frequent dining out, excessive phone data plans, or impulse purchases. Opt for homemade meals, cheaper transportation methods, and free entertainment options.
6. Use Savings Challenges
Try savings challenges like the “52-week challenge,” where you gradually increase the amount you save each week or month. Another challenge could be the “No-Spend Challenge” on weekends or certain days to curb impulsive spending and save more.
7. Leverage High-Yield Savings Options
Consider savings plans with interest-earning potential. Some Nigerian fintech apps offer higher interest rates than traditional banks. Explore options like micro-investments in money market funds, where you can earn modest returns on your savings. others can give you up to 10% some 15% some preach on the security of your funds so the interest is usually around 8% P.A eg the e-BarcsMfb, Page Mfb StanbicIbtc etc.
8. Avoid Taking on New Debt
Limit borrowing to avoid adding repayment obligations to your monthly expenses, as debt repayment can reduce your ability to save. Focus on clearing any existing debt to free up more of your income for savings.
9. Build an Emergency Fund
Start building a basic emergency fund to cover at least 1-3 months of expenses. This fund prevents you from dipping into your savings for unexpected expenses.
10. Take Advantage of Employer Benefits
If your employer offers benefits like a pension plan or savings contributions, take full advantage. Employer-backed savings are an easy way to build wealth without much extra effort.
11. Side Hustles for Extra Income
Look into side hustles like freelance work, weekend jobs, or small businesses to supplement your income. Even a few extra thousand Naira can go a long way toward achieving your savings goals.
👍 Thumbs up please could you shed more light on weekend jobs and where such jobs can be gotten ?
