THE HYMEN IS NOT FOOLPROOF You Could Get Pregnant While Still A Virgin - This was the third time she was "peeing on a stick" over the past one week. And like was the case in the first two times, there was still two bands on the stick, leaving her perplexed. She had missed her period for 2 consecutive months, but being a "Virgin", with her hymen still very much intact, the possibility of being pregnant didn't for once cross her mind. The simple answer is, that the hymen is never really a complete barrier; at best it is a membranous tissue [thin skin] that provides INCOMPLETE covering for the vagina. Except for the IMPERFORATE HYMEN, the type that is completely sealed off, and does not allow for menstruation, leading to HEMATOCOLPOS; most hymens are riddled with varying degrees of openings, giving rise to the different types: annular, septate, cribriform, fimbriated, lunar, bifenestrate, etc [see pictures]. Thus ejaculating near the vulva in an anatomical virgin can lead to pregnancy, even without a prior penetrative sex. During ejaculation, semen comes out in spurts, and the velocity or speed is enough to jet sperm past the hymen, and into the vagina. What happens next is dependent in the woman's fertility status as at the time of such a play. So, if an anatomical virgin must engage in such heavy play as coitus interfemoris, or "dunking", then she either combines it with coitus interruptus [ pausing, to ejaculate far from the vulva ], or take all the necessary precautions a non virgin having penetrative peno-vaginal sex would, or risk unwanted pregnancy.
