ICM has about 20 management courses that are globally recognized, recognized and evaluated by WES, approved by Ofqual in the UK the highest higher institution accrediting body in the UK.

Some of the management courses include:

Business management,
Commercial Management,
Accounting and Finance
Management Studies,
Human Resource Development,
Leadership Studies,
Project Management,
Hospitality Management,
International Business Studies,
Journalism,
Maritime Management,
Marketing,
Purchasing and Supply Management,
Sport Management etc


a. Certificate Level (Canada Equivalent of completion of 100level)
b. Diploma Level (Canada equivalent of completion of 200level)
c. Advanced Diploma Level (Canada equivalent of completion of 300level)
d. Graduate Diploma Level (Canada equivalent of a full degree)

Please note that either CIT or Diploma level is enough to earn you the additional 37 points in your CRS for the Canadian immigrants.

The exams are taken quarterly March, June, September and December and the pass mark is 40%. The result, transcript and certificate will be out in three months after the exam.

There are four modules/courses in each of the levels. If you already have a first degree you are eligible to take any of the diploma courses.

The cost of the training and study pack is NGN150,000.
The cost of registration for each of the level is NGN80,000

Either Diploma or Certificate level is enough to earn you the additional marks to boost your CRS points.

Registration for December entries closes on the 25th of Sept, 2019.

I am actually finding the compunet classes very helpful. The whatsapp classes are for weekdays which I can always read up later in the days as I am very busy during the day. I usually enjoy the webinars on Saturday.

If you used them how helpful were the WhatsApp classes and do you have a background in IT . I don’t have a background in IT and I don’t want to waste money so I want to be sure it’s doable and the compunet WhatsApp classes are helpful. Do you also have reading materials I can look through? This is for anyone who wants to boost their score by writing the BCS Certification in IT.

I know some people are looking for more information about this but they haven't found any so I've taken it upon myself to post this here.

I spoke with their head of customer service and below is the official message from them:

Thank you for contacting Compunet Limited the approved centre for British Computer Society (BCS) in Nigeria with proven records of outstanding performance from our students.

BCS has three levels:

a. Certificate in IT
b. Diploma in IT
c. Postgraduate Diploma in IT.

Please note that the CIT level is enough to earn you additional 37 points in your CRS for the Canadian immigrants.

The exams are taken every March and September and the pass mark is 40%.
The CIT has three modules/courses which are introductory courses to Computer Science or Information Technology. With or without Computer background with all the necessary support from Compunet Limited you can acing’s the three modules. We have trained secondary schools and they passed.

For Canadian immigrants, is recognized, accepted and evaluated by WES as a One-year certificate program. Hence it can be added to whatever degree you had to claim Two or more certificate with additional 37 points.

The three courses/modules for the CIT level are:
a. Information Systems
b. Software development
c. Computer and Network Technology.

The total cost of training for the three modules/courses is #150,000.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE HAVE A VERY ROBUST ONLINE PLATFORM FOR DISTANCE LEARNING STUDENTS.

#50,000 for each of the courses. With this you will get all the recommended textbooks, past questions and answers.
Condensed training materials (video, audio etc.) for all the courses. You will be added to our WhatsApp group for each of the courses where materials are frequently dropped, questions answered and 9 hours weekly classes takes place.

Membership annual fee costs 37 pounds, then each module cost 40 pounds each.
That’s a total of 157 pounds naira equivalent of about 75k depending on the exchange rate at as when you are paying.

This is the best time to register for the training because the next exam is for September

Registration for the exam ends 25th July.
Exam is either 16th - 17th September or 17th - 18th September at British Council in Lagos, Abuja and Kano.

If you're like me with no background in IT, be sure to check their website for past questions to practice with and study hard.

BRITISH COMPUTER SOCIETY HAS BOTH ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL COURSES:

Certificate in Information Technology CIT
Diploma in Information Technology DIT
Professional Graduate Diploma PGD

THE AFOREMENTIONED ARE ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION WES RECOGNISED AND EVALUATE THEM and they can be used to claim the additional 34 points.

I know of people who have used it. I did my findings very well before I enrolled
