If you are not a consistent player over a long period of time, you are not a great player. Boathand is not a great player. School boy's errors are not part of what we know great defenders for at their peaks. Ramos, Stam, puyol, Terry, Vidic at 28 were not defending foolishly like this maga.

Maybe my choice of words was wrong. What I meant to say is that He needs to be as consistent as Terry to be rated above Him. Hummels had the overall better tournament at the Worldcup whilst the reverse was the case at the Euros. Make no mistake He had a very good worldcup, just that Mats had a better one.
