airmark:Hahahahaha .....Can't even lie I am totally on Dayo's side with regards to this particular arguement. |
Odunharry:Will do Bro. Many Thanks! |
ibkayee:I knew this was coming but Boris has just announced Tough New Measures to try and slow the spread of Coronavirus. Great Move! |
ibkayee:Yup I quite remember how big a Fan you were during your early days on NL. Man don't say that. If you an Ex Superfan has lost interest, then what chance has a mere mortal like me got? |
elrony:Oh boy I no like am o. I don try sote but my body no agree. Which one be the best one? Cuz any mediocre one fit kill my interest for good. |
ibkayee:One of my close friends in Uni was mauddd into it but I can seem to get into it. Don't know why |
elrony:Thanks Bro. Much Appreciated! I really do Hope not. The devastation it'll cause will be unprecedented. Dad now takes orders from Me now Sef. I don ban am from going to Church til further notice(He wasn't a regular anyways but still) |
nihilistjnr:That was when I absolutely loved it. Brings back Sec School and college Memories. They are currently showing reruns of The Weakest Link at 5pm now. Dr Who, Waterloo Road and Grange Hill were my things too. I'm sure Ibkayee remembers the last two. |
ibkayee:It's really annoying Hun. These absolute plonkers have now taken to jampacking the Tube now because they've closed certain stations. Looks like I'll be taking Mum to and from work henceforth. I don't trust these knuckleheads. |
elrony:Bro I'd lying if I said it's easy but hey what can you do but soldier on. As a Massive fan of Comedy, I am currently rewatching all my favourites ones. Heck there is a programme called Ready Steady Cook that I used to love back in the day but not seen an episide in a long time. I am back watching it now. Also all of you idiots risking the Lives of Health Care Workers like my Mum by refusing to adhere to simply instructions, I hope you get comeuppance real soon. Stay the F@#k at home and let Health Care workers and other Key workers do their Jobs. Only leave your House if it's ABSOLUTELY necessary to do so. |
ibkayee:Thanks Hun. Really appreciated . There is also a reason why I emphasised the word "EVERY". Whilst Doctors and Nurses will get majority of the praise and many might say rightly so, the people we term "Low Skilled Workers" ie Cleaners should not be left out. Imagine coming in to work day in day out risking both your safety and that of your loved ones for such little pay? I can't. |
A big thank You to every single Member of the NHS. The whole of the country can not thank you well enough no matter how hard they try. Mum is a Senior Staff Nurse with around 30 years experience and neither Her nor Her colleagues have seen anything like this EVER. Really worried about Her tbh but I'm also very worried about Friends from College and Uni in the Medical Field. I've spent my whole weekend getting food for some of them and their colleagues and once again I say a Very Big Thank You to the lot of you. Very well appreciated! Lastly Happy Mother's Day Mom. It's the First Mother's Day you've spent away from your Family in a very long time(Well my lifetime anyways) and we as a Family would like to express our gratitude. |
iamoyindamola:Invite who? |
benji93:One of the Best ke? More like Far and away the best Shooting Backcourt of all time. I'd also love to see the much maligned Ben Simmons(as PF)play with that backcourt. |
elrony:Bro that's usually how it is between those two. It's a case of an Unstoppable Force colliding with an Immovable Object. |
larride:That's a State Hospital?...Are you telling me that's the kind of Facility they'll bundle Elrony into if He so unluckily happens to get the Virus? Lawd have Mercy! |
SmooshCHN:Probably of all time sef. No other player in League History has as many weapons in their Arsenal as KD. |
A40:Nah the Athletes will be fine. Worst case scenario is if they are found to be carrying an underlying illnesses. Even that still, they'll have 24hr round the clock top notch care. |
Ibime:Very Good advice(taken onboard). Rumour has it London will be on lockdown from Friday night. F@##ing incredible! |
Ibime:That's the standard rule everywhere now. We've been told to come in if you live within a 5-15 minutes walking distance(pretty much no one as those that live close to work are saying they have old/vulnerable relatives they have to attend to) whilst those that have to use Public transport have been told to stay at Home. |
ibkayee:HOV! |
ibkayee:Let them clear it. I'll take my chances or make do with what is left. Can't be going there during rush hour where transmission rates is at it's highest. |
ibkayee:Dude at work's result came out negative. Thank goodness! LOOOL...Not surprised at all. At my workplace, an email has been sent around saying "Anyone that lives within a 5-15 minutes walking distance can come in however anyone that requires any form of public transport should work from Home". Also closely monitoring the daily cases of the infection in my borough. Looks like all of my shoppings will be done when the supermarket is less busy or a bit empty. I don't trust y'all. |
ibkayee:LOOOL...The struggle is real. |
ibkayee:Yh not surprised. Hospitals are now issuing statements begging people not to steal Hand Sanitizers from wards and tissue rolls from their toilets. |
Nairalandgirl:That's Empty too. The Drugs aisle has been raided. |
ibkayee:I'm trying too Hun. Fairly confident it's just a Flu *Fingers crossed*. I reckon you will be told to work from Home very soon unless it's incredibly important. Universities/Schools will shut down in Max two weeks. Oxbridge and a few others have already postponed Exams and Lectures. Others will soon follow suit. |
ibkayee:Well I was going to say things weren't actually that bad at my place of work apart from quite a substantial amount of people choosing to work from Home last friday but alas I was wrong. Just got a phone call(also an Email)about 2 hours ago saying nobody should come to work this week. One of my colleagues at work is currently experiencing "Flu Like"symptoms and as a result we've been told to self isolate for a week or till His result comes out . They don't think it's Corona but they are simply taking precautionary methods. |
nihilistjnr:Wahala don happen. One of my work colleagues has come down with what looks like Flu like symptoms. They think it's just the " Flu" but to be on the safe side, everyone that came in contact with Him last week(which is pretty much everyone at work) has been told to self isolate for one week or at the very least till His result come out. He is getting tested tomorrow so it looks like I'll be in my room for at least the next three days. |
Skimpledawg:Happy Birthday Guyman. Many more Prosperous years fall on you. |
ibkayee:How are you coping with this Coronavirus ish? Many schools/universities and Businesses are closing by the hour. Chinatown reads more like Ghost town currently. Trafalgar Square is as quiet as I have ever seen it. A friend of mine voluntarily works in a Food bank center and they desperately in need of food items. Man it's crazy out there. |
