seconwaobyno: pls my questions goes to the gurus and ogas already in canny.
dont really know where to start from cos my case is now complicated but ur gud advice will help.
1, I am a prospective applicant through an agent
2, my program will cost like school fees $14, 000, egent $13, 000 for the admission and trv other sundery expenses not in cluded yet.
3, note: I didn't know this trend before I committed to the agent I came to knw about it after I have committed 6, 000 usd as advance.
4, admmision gotten from niagara college medical, biometric done but trv was denied cos of moving the embassy from lagos to Ghana effected his internal contact contact.
5, admmision now differed till September still pushing if he can breakthrough to trv.

this is where I need ur advise most.
1, Does canada worth this amount?
2, my brother advised me to join him in his business and develop the capital instead of going to another mans land to face unknown.
3, he is an impoter deals in trailer spare parts.
5, he said I should call the egent to withdraw the processing but the egent said he can only refund 50% of the total sum as he has spent a lot but that's not the issue.
The issue is this does canada worth this amount? or should I join him to develop the capital here as the business is moving well for him and he is always out of the country for importation.
sorry for the long epistle. currently am working as a contract staff at a bank but already submitted resignation latter by next month.
thanks in anticipation as am waiting for ur gud guide.
Bruh your app can only be refused if you didn't meet the set requirements the Canadians want not because your so called agent lost his 'internal contact'.
Secondly asking if canada is worth the amount can't be answered. People pay even more in UK and US. You should ask yourself why you're going to Canada. Is it because you actually want to further your studies or because others are going and you want to follow or you want to just leave Nigeria. There are universities eveRywhere in the world, why did you choose Canada? Didn't you do your research?
Using an agent does not guarantee your getting a visa. Don't get it twisted. Have a nice day

School fees: 16,000

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 5 by chichi89(f): 12:42pm On Jul 20, 2014
Slimdel: Thanks love

1) she is asking if she will photocopy all the documents she is to submit
2) any original copy she couldn't get hold on, I guess she can get certified true copy from the court, right?
3) did u apply with statement of purpose
4) is she gonna sign the visa application forms with Biro
5) must acceptance letter be original hardcopy directly from the school cause we online routers used the soft copy like that

That's all I can remember now, kai this paper route is strange for me lol , thanks love kiss kiss
She should apply online na.
1. Photocopy all the documents,at least two copies including the admission letter + 2/3 photocopies of her passport data page.
2. Yes certified true copy is very much acceptable.
3. Yes I applied with a statement of purpose (2 pages) no address, just the heading (statement of purpose for visa appl)
4. Yes she will sign the form with a pen
5. No it mustnt be hardcopy from the school. She should print it coloured and clear. My school for eg only issues electronic letter of admission.
Any other questions,I'm very much available.
You're welcome dear.

Kudanis: Please Nairalanders, Can someone applied for Canada Study Visa with Conditional Letter of Acceptance?
I think it depends on the condition. I actually applied with a conditional letter and the condition was to send my official transcript and CTC of my degree certificate. I did that but I wasn't given a revised letter (unconditional). However my account with the school was updated that I had fulfilled the conditions. So I just printed the page and added it to my application + the email from the school stating I didn't need a revised acceptance letter to apply for the visa.

No oh. Some phones like blackberry usually come with diff charger heads including the one that will fit into this type of socket.
But you can get an adaptor that will fit,so you can plug your charger through it. Go to an electrical store.

nicholls2013: hello house, please can someone help me once again list the documents required for admission and also do i need to pay tuition before applying for TRV and how long does the admission process and visa process take
Documents required for admission is available on the school's website. Paying your fees before applying for trv doesn't affect your app. Some people have been denied visa even after paying the fees. So paying it is your choice except the high commission later asks you to pay. Admission process varies. It can take up to 3mths like mine or even less than a month. Visa processing is quite fast now. Mine took 6weeks via paper route

You're very correct my brother. Some schools no longer accept toefl because of the testing fraud uncovered sometime early this year. To be on the safe side ielts is the way. grin
Jijola: Morning all. On whether IELTS or TOEFL, I wouldn't have commented again but for the benefit of those making the choice.I once wanted to write too, so I had to do some research. IELTS is more acceptable for the purpose of travelling to Canada. TOEFL is preferred for US.But this is not to say that Canada does not accept TOEFL, just that IELTS is more favoured. This is not based on hearsay. Just do some research online, or visit the British Council to find out.
IELTS has a British origin, and is maintained by Cambridge. TOEFL has an American origin, maintained by an organisation in the US.Lest we forget, the English speaking part of canada has strong historical ties with the UK, as those that settled in those parts migrated from the UK. Till date, the Queen of England is still the Head of State of Canada. Perhaps, these reasons account for why Canada favours IELTS which is run by a UK institution.
Note that most schools in Canada waive English tests for students who have been instructed in a previous programme run in English. The IELTS requirement is often used for immigration purposes (Permancent Residence).
We may check the following link for some useful hints from peeps that have tried making a choice between the two, and we can also do further research as we deem fit.
Great day guys.

Yea this year is out of it but schools are already receiving apps for next year. So start early. You can write the English test if you want. I wrote but eventually didn't need it.
