Who has any idea of long lasting perfumes within the range of 5k and below? |
The secretary |
Impressive for a 'budding writer', I have a few tips for you. 1. Your use of language is somewhat confusing, make use of simpler words so as not to lose your readers. 2. Show, don't tell. The story doesn't contain any/much dialogue. When your xters tell the story through dialogue, it makes the story more exciting 3. In the last paragraph, it's difficult to know whether whether 'Brigde' is a xter, a metaphor or just an ordinary brigde. 4. Mix the type of sentences you use. You can use simple, compound/complex sentences to make the story less boring. Finally, kudos to you. You've got potential. |

Today is our independence day. Nigeria is 53. I know we'll all rather criticize the government and blame them for the state of our nation. But I've been wondering, when is this criticism ever gonna end or at least effect a change. We've played the blame game long enough. Maybe it's time to change our strategy because it seems the government has grown a tough skin, our complaints don't move them. So, instead of criticizing them, why don't we proffer solutions to our problems.a. It is time to change our attitude. We've got to stop being reactive and be more proactive. Let's stop whining about our problems, we've been doing that since God knows when. Instead, let's make our great vision for this nation know. Let's have a little faith that the Nigeria of our dreams will soon be born. Be a part of the solution not the problem. Be the change you want to see in Nigeria. |
I've only been using it for six days and so far, I like what I see. I'm not sure it contains sunscreen bcs there is no 'spf' written on the body, I use my sunscreen after applying it. I can't really say much about the cream bcs I've not used it long enough, all I can say is that it makes my skin glow. |
Yeah, itz relatively safe according to the ingredients listed. I dnt stay in PH. Itz sold for abt 1400-2000, depending on where you buy. I bought mine 1500. |

Try Crystal white uv lotion |
Wow! Beautiful! |
You are too presumptuous for my liking. I won't waste any more of my time arguing with a hypocritical low life like you. At the end of the day, what anyone does to their skin is none of your business but if you really want make it your business, you are on your own. As for me, I can decide to bleach my skin till I have a causatian skin tone. We don't share the same skin. I'm aware of the consequences of unhealthy skin bleaching and I don't indulge in such. I take care of my skin any way I deem fit so next time you want to start a sermon on 'the beauty that is within' you damn well start your own thread. From your assumptions in your last post, I can see you don't possess an atom of inner beauty, so go bark somewhere else and allow us , 'the guinea pigs and lab rats' to do our stuff. |
The enlightened ones all know that there are very healthy, safe and natural products/procedures used in skin lightening which solves some skin problems like hyperpigmentation, melasma, vitiligo etc In this century, anyone can decide to change their skin tone, the fact that fair skin is preferred to dark skin doesn't mean dark skin is inferior. It's just a matter of choice. The so called whites also borrow from our culture because if you recall correctly being skinny used to be the order of the day but now most of their popular celebrities eg Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez etc are leaning towards the curvy body shape. We Africans are the ones associated with having a curvy body, now everybody wants to have that kind of body. What does that tell you? No culture survives on it's own, we borrow from others and they borrow from us too. Can you compare the risk of the surgeries most white women undergo to look curvy to that of skin lightening? Seriously, stop with the 'holier than thou' ish... |
joudini: There is beauty in every person, most importantly the beauty within. Forgive my asking, why do you think people want to 'whiten' their skin? The same reason 'people' fix hair extension, artificial eyelashes, put on make up and wear stylish clothes. We are still under the influence of colonization and seriously you can't judge people who decide to lighten their skin because itz just like telling an African you can't red or gold hair etc just because we naturally have black hair. Unless you still wear the traditional outfits of our ancestors, you can't judge them because even the type of clothes we wear, we copied from the white. It's a free world, don't tag skin lightening as inferiority complex, it is not, it is a matter of choice. This is the 21st century for Pete's sake. People ought to be more open minded. Even white people do tanning so they won't look so pale, will you say they ain't proud of their natural complexion? |
joudini: They got you brainwashed till the point you 'whitening' your skin, blind to the truth, you can't see the beauty within.lol. I guess you gat xray |
Pls where can I get original UV crystal whitening lotion in Asaba, Onitsha or Enugu |

uzoo: Well all i can say is this, to have a glowing skin one should follow a skin care regimen that suits your skin and this should include exfoliation.I know that. It seems they have a particular procedure or skin care treatment they use. That's actually what I want to find out. |
uzoo: are you referring to the air brushed and photoshopped images of these celebrities or did you notice this by meeting them physically. No, I've actually seen these actresses recently. I'm not talking of pictures. |
I've noticed recently that most actresses are rocking a fairer, glowing skin. I don't mean bleached o. Itz as if they're more even toned and glowing now. People like Uche Jombo, Ebube Nwagbo, Uche Elendu, Yvonne Nelson, Jackie Appiah etc all appear to have done something magical to their skin recently, I wonder what their secret is bcs I don't mind trying it myself. I know some of them are on this forum, I hope they'll share their beauty regime with us. |
