mamamummy: Please does anyone know anything about MAC Complexion Clarifying soap with mac carrot oil? I just boujght it but don't know if it will really do what it says it does. Pls help a sister out.
2ndly, how can I identify d original black soap? Will it darken my light complexion?
I've not used MAC soap so I can't really say. The black soap doesn't darken. It has an awful smell and it doesn't come in a pack. Itz just labelled and wrapped with waterproof.

Rawdeal: i'm sure there's an f beside my moniker. Dunno y ur so concerned about the ho part of my comment tho
I'm not concerned, just pointing out that itz a shallow statement.
FashionRe: What's Your Definition of Sexy by Chicolee(op): 9:44pm On Dec 07, 2013
Rawdeal: hopefully, you're not a ho. then if u have to dress like a ho to feel good about yourself, u need to sort out ur body issues.

else, think of what works on your body and dress to accentuate that part, add heels to it. simple
SMH. What has dressing sexy got to do with being a ho? Naija peeps and their judgmental disposition. I asked a very simple question, if you want to look sexy, what would you wear? Sexy doesn't equal tacky. One can still dress decently and still be sexy. I ain't gat no body issues bro. Just trying to find out other people's point of view about what's sexy!
FashionWhat's Your Definition of Sexy by Chicolee(op):
So your sole purpose of dressing up is to look SEXY, what would you wear?

Simply ask him to explain how they are cousins (details about the family tree). 'Cousin' and 'uncle' are very broad terms in Naija. #justsaying

EVA SOAP (the pink one) - Doesn't really do much for my skin. It doesn't dry me out and itz pretty mosturizing.
FashionRe: A Review Of Soaps You've Used by Chicolee(op): 6:15pm On Dec 06, 2013
TOUCH ME OIL CONTROL SOAP - Lovely, I didn't use it for long but it helped with my oily skin though.
SAVANNAH SOAP - Had me peeling like an onion. Eeeewww! Had a nice smell sha.

ORIGINAL AFRICAN BLACK SOAP - Had an awful smell but itz one of the best soaps I've ever used. Gives one a nicely toned, almost flawless and acne free skin. Loved it but hated the smell.
FashionA Review Of Soaps You've Used by Chicolee(op):
I love soaps, different types, colours, shapes, fragrances and functions. Here is a personal review of soaps I've used so far.
Feel free to add yours.

DUDU OSUN- One of the best exfoliating soaps I've used. It evens out your skin but it's kinda harsh for the face. It has a nice fragrance too.

IDOLE SOAP- A staple in my skin care regimen. It's mild and really exfoliates well.

IDOLE PAPAYA SOAP - I love this soap. It smells like heaven. Lol. It keeps my skin smooth and glowing.

CLASSIC WHITE SOAP - Kinda brightens one's complexion. Doesn't really lighten though and doesn't last long.

SILKA PAPAYA SOAP - Smells delicious but broke me out. Don't know why. I ended up using it as a washing soap. Couldn't waste my money. Lol.

DIVA MAXITONE SOAP - Lightens the skin real fast. It was scary. Had to stop using it... Don't wanna look bleached.

DETTOL HERBAL SOAP - Kept the pimples at bay but made my skin sensitive to the sun so I darkened a bit. Don't know why.

DOVE MOSTURIZING BAR - Gave me a flawless but darker skin tone. Good for dark people though.

*to be contd*

simplynola: Why dint you stick to the rules when she told you her rent will expire by december? but you went ahead to pay more instead of six months, so the fault is yours. It seems she knew she was going to get a quit afterall and believing she will get atlist 3 months extra. On the other hand, if the tenancy law in your state of residence is effective, you can just go to any local government and they will put you thru on the appropriate authorities to lodge your complaints but also beware she culd be playing tricks on you by putting court into the issue. She will bolt into thin air. Try see the care taker privately and explain. He could have a palliative measure.
Thanks for your advice. I made a mistake sha. I pray God will see me through, all the same, thanks.

lari03: @chicolee present your case to your Z.I or A.I for immediate help, notify the police also, do not assume cops cannot help you.
Probably start planning to relocate to corpers lodge while you attempt to retrieve your funds from your co-tenant/land lady.
Thanks but the problem is that the woman claims they won't eject her immediately. She said the court will still give her time to get a new place before ordering her to pack out. She also said the summons for ejection means she'll appear in court and court cases take time. Please can any lawyer explain the procedures for eviction to me?

I subleased an apartment and the host may be evicted.

Fellow Nlanders, please I need your help urgently. I 'subleased' a room for eight months, the woman I paid to told me her rent will expire in December. I paid in June so my rent is supposed to expire in February when I'll be through with my service (I'm a Batch A corper).

This morning, the caretaker brought a quit notice and it turns out the woman pays monthly instead of yearly. She was given a month notice earlier (I wasn't aware of this) and now she's been given one week to leave or the caretaker will file a summons to eject her... I paid to the woman and not the caretaker and even though the woman assured me nothing will happen, I'm scared she'll pack out during xmas period in my absence.

Please what do I do? Help a troubled soul!

FamilyRe: Must You See A Pastor Before Choosing A Life Partner? by Chicolee(f): 6:23pm On Dec 01, 2013
I was actually about to post this same topic some days back but I never got around to it... My boyfriend of four years proposed to me on our anniversary (relationship anniversary) and my friends have been advising me to seek the face of God through consulting a pastor to know whether he is the right person. I have a friend who has rejected three serious proposals because the pastor said it won't work. Well, I prayed on my own and I asked God to give me signs and surprisingly I think I've gotten a go ahead order. I don't really believe I need to see a pastor before making this decision. Itz a matter of choice but I think it's not really necessary unless you're not sure of the person. In that case, take your time to study the person and see whether he/she is someone you can live with. No couple can be 100% compatible. #my two cents though.

Pls get help! Talk to people who can help eg counsellors, friends, family etc. Don't keep these thoughts to yourself. What ever you may be going through, just remember people have through worse. Ending your life won't solve anything. Pls stay alive.
