This will be the last time I'll ever work for Inec jare. We had to conduct elections on an empty stomach and they didn't even provide adequate security for us. I thank God say Onitsha people no beat me up... I'm so happy this is all over. Ngige won in my polling unit sha while Apga came second. All glory to God.

I've been dating this guy for about four years now. He is my dream guy, the only problem is that he is currently unemployed and thus not ready for marriage. He really wants to settle down with me in future but the problem is that I don't get along with his friends and some members of his family. I'm an introvert while he is an extrovert and I guess the people around him expect me to be social like him. He always complains that I don't want to be closer to him but the fact is that I don't know how to be a very social person. I've tried but it's just so tiring. His friends see me as an arrogant person because I keep to myself and my guy thinks I don't want to get serious with him. Is this enough reason to end a relationship since he is not yet ready for marriage or is there anyway I can turn things around. I really want to be more friendly towards his friends but I don't know how since I already kinda don't like them because they complain about me... I'm just so confused.

Ogbeche77: I've met a few peeps who weren't opportune to partake in the youth service probably because took part in sandwich programme or age restriction. They wished they could be part of it, thanks to the stories and adventures ex-corpers narrate after their service year..
But personally, I think the youth service should just end after the orientation camp and each corper should be given their 1 year allawee in bulk and move on with their lives abeg

I'm a Batch A Corper serving in a secondary school in Delta state and since I started serving in March, I've not been paid a dime by the state government. We were told to expect our salary in September but since then, we've not been paid. Only those serving in Council and other private schools have been paid. What is wrong with these people? They actually collected two hundred naira from us during state clearance for 'stamping of form'. So after eight months of active service, the state government cannot pay poor corpers like us. I wonder whether this is applicable only in Delta state.
