ChizzyBuna: I reached out to a cousin of mine in Norway. I begged him for small financial assistance any amount no matter how small. He read the message and said he will see what he will do.
That was january 15, since then he rarely reply my message and if he reply he ignores my cry for help I tried writing him again but tears started rolling from my eyes. I felt so depressed begging my cousin and him just playing me like a child. Ignoring my messages
I need advice, should i call it quit and distance myself from him? As human its normal to need help or assistance and at the same time its normal to feel bad/sad when you feel disappointed But you need to understand sometimes those you think are in position to help might be in tight financial obligations that will incapacitate them for a period, they may not want to tell you or let you down to your face If you have a self worth you will protect it, you have passed the message person wey go help you no go stress you, lets him be Ajumobi ko kan anù, what if you dont know him, try other people n talk to your God #miracle no dey taya jesus |

Gagare1: I once sent my wife to collect condoms. Now this may not be a big deal down South, but in a predominantly Muslim area of Kano state, that was hardcore stuff. I already transferred the money to the pharmacist and told him to wrap it up in such a way that she won't know what she was collecting. He did, thinking that my wife is unaware of what she was collecting. Unknown to the pharmacist, my wife and I were on the same page. She pretended not to know what she was collecting, while he thought the item bought was a secret between me and him only.
So me and the pharmacist laughed at my wife on the phone, then my wife and I laughed at the pharmacist at home after.... you know.... Gbas gbos! As a married couple what are you doing with condoms ... cool story |

dauntless15: Right, what does revenge mean in your dictionary? And did you read what he wrote upside down that you didn't get any clue of him trying to get even for some imagined slight, for one he used another unknown number to chat her up pretending he's the company offering her a job which is one proof of criminal intent, he also gave her a non existent address where he'll ambush her when she shows up which is dangerously close to conniving and potential kidnapping, third, you sent money you can afford to loose to some girl for tfare and she decides she doesn't want to travel anymore you're coming online to wail, did she force you to send the money at gunpoint, go school you no gree, see now, your illiteracy is riveting. To me Revenge means balance, tryna balance an account as long as its not life threatening Bro you are thinking to far, lets even assume he made up a company address other than to get her attention, his "intent" does not bear an attempt to defraud or harm the lady @least according to what he wrote using alternate number to get someone attention can not be termed "criminal intent" ... "demand" is what validate criminal intent Op just wana get the gurl to waste time n money, so that she can learn some lessons, that might even change her i support Op cos these means exercise for the gurl, naija gurlz dont exercise enough . i go just ignore the kidnapping ... tew much facebook news dey worry you 🤣🤣 |

wayray: I met a girl during a short visit to Ibadan at my uncle's place. We exchanged numbers and we got talking online. She happens to be a fresh graduate serving.
During one of our usual gist, she said since I'm based in Lagos, I should assist her to look for job by sharing her cv which I obliged. We fixed a date to lash ourselves as Omo ogbon that I am. But my stay got cut short due to urgent stuff at my workplace. ( I forgot to add that I was on leave during this visit) So I left but we still continued gisting and had the date rescheduled for Lagos at my place. When the date for the meeting came, this babe demanded for transport fare which I gave without thinking twice. But surprisingly this babe blocked me immediately after receiving the fund. As a sharp guy, I switched to plan B after waiting for a week without success. I used my other line WhatsApp to chat her and claimed to be chatting her from the company from which I dropped her cv. My people immediately, this babe unblocked me and started apologizing. I said no whala, I pretended to follow up with the company so that they can pick her.
Now I have dropped a particular address not too far from my home for her in Lagos as the location of the company? SHOULD I ALLOW HER TO EMBARK ON THE JOURNEY OR I SHOULD FORGIVE HER?
Pls. I need your advice before Monday. I apologize about the long write up typo. As much as i want preach to forgiveness, your revenge has no scent of evil or harm .. please follow through for the fun of it, yeah ! these might even reform her |

Now let me talk of experience.

Now I'm using 15 pro max and charges the battery overnight over 1 yr now the battery is not complaining. The battery health is 92%
Are you saying from 2023 when I bought the phone till date the battery would've remained 100% by using this your method ? lolzz ! your battery lifecycle is optimal within 4yrs, and yours did 2yrs so you wont know for a phone you bought new, you will enjoy the bat3 for @least 4yrs but aftermath expect nosedive in capacity and strength thats summary |

scientifically it is possible for a man sleeping with 50 women to get each pregnant and paternity aligns with societal standard But, even though its possible for a woman to fvck and date 50 men at a time, scientifically she can only get pregnant for one at a time and paternity saga that might ensue will disturb the peace of the society Financially, and as a matter of fact we have seen Men across the world cater for multiple baby mamas and there kids But Majority of women that have kids for different men bearly take financial responsibility other than depend on Men for survival. A man can marry 50 women and the wives + children will all bear his surname But a woman with different baby daddy brings nothing but dissonance A key that can open multiple pad lock is Master key But a padlock that can be opened by any key will be discarded, whu is the key whu are the pad locks if you dont know forget about it |

If nafdac could arrest or prosecute, then why do they need the police? Can nafdac maintain law and order or do they have a prison to apprehend defaulters or criminals?
So you are hoping this present system of police will apprehend fake drugs suppliers and prosecute them?😆😆
You are equally as guilty as the government that you are trying to condemn with your horrendous shortcut approach!
Until the policing system is decentralized and structured into an independent form to attain effectiveness and efficiency,no matter how many fake drugs suppliers caught, they will still get released and look for other ways to bypass nafdac and other regulatory agencies in the future! 7th I don't expect you to comprehend the importance of policing and the immediate need to make it work effectively with your flawed and conditioned belief that as long as you have a hammer, every problem becomes a nail!
Finally, arguing with you wasn't really a waste of time....on the contrary,it was entertaining to note that not everyone on nairaland is as knowledgeable as they seem and you are quite frankly are one of them!
I wasn't wrong when i said you were completely naive and ignorant.....and that's a fact! All pun intended! You are just arguing blindly ... Walk into any nearest police station nd report a counterfeit drug .. make dem sensitize you abeg That you lack the cells and ability to improvise does not mean i dont know what i am proposing, We have been having these forth and back for ... yet all you spew are orthodox measures even criminals are well informed Police reform is dependant on a lot of factors, process and too many things involve, for how long have we being on tax reform .. it is that complicated. Going to school gives you knowledge to improvise, but i understand a typical Nigerian cant reason beyond copying conventional theories thats why Govt and Cbn are failing across board. when you are dealing a peculiar people as Nigerians going by conventional measures will mostly amount to failure, cos criminals know that route tew Abeg, carry on with the police reform limited to paper works |
Politics › Re: Fake Drugs: Sanwo-Olu's Aide, Wale Ajetunmobi Criticises Peter Obi's Stance by chidiokay: 9:09am On Feb 19, 2025 |
bentenny: NAFDAC is responsible for regulating and controlling the manufacture, importation, exportation, advertisement, distribution, sale, and use of food, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, chemicals, and packaged water. Their job is not to arrest because they don't have the powers to do so according to the 2015 act...they collaborate with the enforcement agency in the country which is the police to make arrests and prosecute offenders! Enforcement agency is defined as a public organization responsible for maintaining law and order, investigating crimes, and prosecuting offenders with the assistance of prosecutors. That's why NAFDAC officers go with the police to the field!
When you are a novice or limited to an issue beyond your apparent scope of understanding, you ask relevant questions to gain more knowledge! The current system of policing can be MODIFIED THROUGH A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT by removing it from the exclusive to concurrent list with the sole aim of unbundling or decentralizing civil security structure in the nation by creating state and community policing with further modifications on their independence to ensure effectiveness in their discharge of duties! This will eliminate interference from outsiders and ensure criminals like fake drug suppliers do not only get arrested but will justice for their crimes which will ultimately serve a deterrent to other and wipe out impunity! There is no shame in making inquiries esp with your obviously limited knowledge in the current setup of policing in Nigeria!
Hmmmm.....'Humams' indeed! So says the box thinker with typo errors!
Well intended Reforms with the required corresponding actions can lead to progress! The country is in a mess primarily due to a lopsided and flawed constitution! A constitution with a centralized system of policing cannot fight and curb criminality! You just like complicating matters, " Enforcement is your problem again" ... a simple definition check of "enforcement" would have us another epistle bayii .. dear Albert Making Police the subject matter here is just ridiculous, Fight against fake drugs and drink is a fight for Nafdac, they are the agencies with sole authority to act as check and balances on consumables in circulation. I wont let you decoy me into the Police whatever nonsense, if you like re write the whole constitution at the end naa naija persons you go recruit, have we not tried police reforms and even changed their uniform to sky blue, howfar Do you know how long we have being on state police debate alone, go nd re write infact between arguing with you or Waiting for Police reform .. its very hard to tell which is more of a waste of time smh |

bentenny: No matter the 'thinking outside the box',the police will still be needed as an the enforcement agency saddled with the responsibility of curbing criminalities like fake drug merchants! Instead of concocting quick fixes, that haven't solved anything,to bypass the police, the question that should be asked is how can the policing system become efficient, effective and independent to perform its statutory duties as a law enforcement agency? looking for quick fixes or shortcuts will still bring us back to the same position! A solution with no system in place to punish perpetrators will only lead to impunity! The police must be fixed to handle such matters properly! Thats my position!
You cannot fix a criminality by isolating the police! Thats ignorance of the highest order! Get that clear!
Your solution though well intended is borne out of ignorance and naivety! When an enforcement agency isn't functioning as constituted, the most sensible thing to do is to make it work by modifying its system of operation to make it transparent, independent and effective not through shortcuts as you are erroneously and hilariously positing! The rest of your gibberish are at best comical but irrelevant! I thought you are the intelligent one, when it comes to fake drugs Police are not the enforcement agency, thats the job of Nafdac to go after them police are 3rd party needed to effect arrest Modifying the police, really ?? thats your best shot 🤣🤣🤣 you know one of the problem humams have is disability not to think outside the box, esp.
