I'm looking for a Project/Business Development Manager to help manage jobs from current clients as well as develop business for some of our new ideas and products from our partners.

Managing projects will typically involve liaison with clients to ensure all information required for smooth execution of projects are captured. Working with engineers to ensure logistics for their projects are in place. Reviewing reports to ensure they are of the right quality and preparing summaries of timesheet and cost to help invoicing.

For BDM, the right candidate preferably needs to have some understanding of shipping or offshore service business. Requires someone who's entrepreneurial and is able to contribute and drive ideas for developing and selling new products. Will require research into the key segments, ability to analyse the viability of our products to those segments or what modifications we require to make them fit. Will also be able to write business proposal in very good English as well as being able to communicate effectively with decision makers in on the phone or client visits.

If you were rude in your interruption then you deserved it. If however you politely expressed your opinion then I'll say you should keep looking and you'll find a job where you don't get fired for expressing your opinion. You write very well and can independently conduct a research. That's a skill that not too many Nigerian graduates have these days.

You shouldn't be working for someone who gives you N1000 when he feel like anyway. I have no doubt you'll find a better job. You don't sound dumb.
