De Klerk: South African universities are under pressure to admit black students

In remarks likely to antagonise elements in the ruling African National Congress, Mr de Klerk warned that “there is too much prescriptiveness on admissions policy” and that “universities are under great pressure to discriminate on the basis of race and colour”.

Mr de Klerk, 76, said he supported affirmative action “in all walks of life in order to rectify the wrongs of the past”, but he should not be carried but by clearly defined quotas.

The “previously disadvantaged” concept that guides affirmative action policy was irrelevant, he said, to children of middle class black families “who have grown up in a well to do home”.

“It is not only black south Africans who are disadvantaged now. There are disadvantaged people in all racial groups,” Mr de Klerk told the Daily Telegraph.

@ ^^ What does personal/general honesty of the people have to do with politics/war? Ivoriens are generally lazy and much of the work in Cote d'Ivoire are performed by the people from across the border anyway. That there are many "foreigners" in the country is an indication that the Ivoriens are lazy . it is not unusual. Travel around Africa, you'll soon discover who are the laziest and perhaps the most dishonest/untrustworthy too .

i should post the article where uganda soldiers were begging to go back to have sexxx with their wives cause somali women were very hard to get and always walked outdoors with a family member

This is not what we care about in Africa, we do not feel it because everyone of us has his own tribe and we don't waste time figuring out whether someone feels superior to someone else.
Each tribe has its own view of other tribe within the same country and it is not a source of conflit. Conflict arises in Africa mostly from the struglle for political power not from little stuffs that you mentioned. African americans have a problems, we african are just tired to be mislead by your skin color. You are worse than KKK towards african immigrants in the USA. This is what you should address.
