Politics › Re: 7 Reasons Why General Muhammad Buhari Will Lose 2015 Elections. by Chigold101(m): 7:59am On Nov 28, 2014 |
Jaydee009: I believe GMB is a good man. If given the chance, he will begin the process of leading Nigeria out of the woods. However, here are some factors that will stop the General come 2015.
1. Nigeria and Nigerians are not truly ready for change, they prefer the status quo, because many of them are benefitting immensely from the many loopholes of the system.
2. Southerners don't like Buhari cos they believe he is an Islamic extremist/fundamentalist. This will make it difficult to win down south, just like in previous elections.
3. All the powerful people who have looted and ruined Nigeria are in PDP. They obviously want to enjoy their loot in peace without the interference of a no-nonsense Buhari.
4. A lot of people believe Buhari should step down and support a younger candidate who understands today's issues in Nigeria and not act like a desperate "old man" bent on seizing power by all means. Etc
5. PDP and their stomach infrastructure policy will see voters selling their votes to the highest bidder (PDP of course).
6. Nobody is yet to master the art of systematic rigging like PDP. They are masters of the game!
7. Buhari's poor past records especially in the area of human rights abuses as military head of state will haunt him I think most people who claim to be political intellectuals in this forum are nothing. OP you are talking about Buhari not winning a national election...when he is yet to win APC primaries. I think the first focus for you guys that love Buhari should be to help him win APC primary before you try to present him to other Nigerians. Trying to put Buhari side by side GEJ who is already a confirmed PDP candidate is like someone fighting over a mat when he has not gotten a land where he will lay the mat... First thing first... Let Buhari be able to convince APC delegates to vote him... before... GEJ till 2019 |

jamace: That's one of the greatest truths, my brother. These politicians are criminals. many oil bloc licence will be lost... That one na for sure... and knowing that GEJ being a Niger Deltan is dreadful to think to those who call him clueless... If he wins 2015 election... Then it will be bye bye to those that have more than 1 oil blocs... The battle is yet to began |
Politics › Re: Derivation And Deprivation II: The Ill-gotten Wealth Of Obasanjo by Chigold101(m): 7:00pm On Nov 27, 2014 |
jamace: Please, compare what OBJ achieved for himself to what he achieved for Nigeria while in power.
If you think OBJ means well for the masses of Nigeria, think again. I believe his attack on GEJ is based on OBJ's selfish ambition which GEJ refused to grant.
I will say it again, Nigerians be wise. all these wars against GEJ is cos oil bloc will be renewed in 2016 and sure there is fear on every side amongst enemies of his government. |

neenar: So, Mrs. Ogah and her subordinates couldn't afford a 2,500 tecno phone to take pictures of the "invisible" items?
And you are to dumb for my own liking too.
When sycophantic Mrs. Ogah claimed the raided center was for cloning pvcs, you and your fellow iidiots believed with no single shred of evidence. Now, she went ahead to list "camera-shy" related items, and I, as a logical being asked for evidence.
Tell me, oaf, is there anything wrong with displaying the "seized" items by the SSS to buttress its point? The statement also disclosed that photographs (still and video) of service personnel entering and exiting the premises in an operation that lasted for two hours were taken. Am sure u didn't see that part when you were reading this report. SAD should come and display the items here in Nairaland. some people mumuism de wear boxers |

TheSonOfMark: This might be sensationalism in action but at least APC will know how it feels when FALSE ACCUSATIONS are peddled. They shouldn't cry foul - THEY ARE BEING SERVED DOSAGES OF THEIR OWN MEDICINE. what made you think that the this is false accusation? Don't Forget that even when someone is caught stealing he still cries foul and claim innocent. |

omarlee: This federal government sef, The president has all the required power and authority to deploy troop to any part of the nation. But the weakling cannot due to his cluelessnes. You don't need state of emergency to take action when need be. a saying in My place says "when someone speaks you can tell his age." Let me ask you something Mr Cluefulness, Which do you think that is harder; to send troupes without consulting National assembly or to consult them before sending? |

biodun4ril: It is not about destroying someone's business, don't take it unnecessarily personal. the issue here is that, why will i go to the market with 55k to buy a tecno(Chinese Phone) i am not even sure they have an established warranty policy. If i want to spend 55k on a phone, then i am looking to make a statement with that phone. more of status statement, if not i would go and get an infinix zero which would do what i want and even more. Tecno is not ready for that market they are trying to tap into. it took the likes of sony and samsung years to get there. you really have to convince me with something really good before i can part with 55k mehn, even if i have excess. so sentiments asides, face reality... i am not making PR for Tecno neither am i against Samsong and Sony... but calling a phone Chinese phone amounts to ignorant and saying you are not sure of if it has established warranty (only you know what you really mean) is a hypocritical statement. Saying that Tecno is not yet there in the market is also a lie because as far as African market is concerned, Tecno owns it and Africa is the emerging market for everything. finally i laughed when you talked about you making a statement with phone... Bros no insult intended in all these that I am writing; but making statement with phone... makes someone low and poor mentally. If na girl you want useam pose for... intelligent girls no dey follow guy because of big phone... so abeg... as for me... I give Samsong five more years... they go the sing the same song Nokia is singing today... trust me... |

Nigeria deserves far far better than both of them. if industries are coming back to life now more than before, won't it translate into more jobs Which will equally translate to more employment? |

darqly: If I recall, a certain Asari Dokubo, an ex-militant, threatened Nigeria with war if GEJ doesn't win elections come 2015. I also recall NOBODY called for his arrest or ascribed his threats as treason till date. Doyin Okupe and his master apparently suffer from Selective Amnesia civil disobedience is not the issue here But parallel government is a treasonable offence. saying you will form a parallel government is a threat to sovereignty of this nation Nigeria. Asiri didn't say Nigeria will have two presidents at same time |
