Hello cruzydal,

Yes, he can be. But you need to show that he’ll genuinely sponsor you. He should write a strong sponsorship letter, stating why he wants to sponsor you. And he needs to show some commitment like paying your tuition and sending you the 10k cad for your living expense. If he has ever sponsored your education or supported you, you can attach proof of it to make his sponsorship more believable.

Best wishes
FamilyRe: Why Do Some Women Get Pregnant After Family Planning? by chikafredu: 8:35am On Mar 31, 2021
Kinematics:
Let me drop a small lecture of family planning for those who don't really know what it is.

In common man's term family planning is knowing when you want to have a baby, how you want to have that baby and where. Its meant for couples that want to plan their family size. It has several benefits for both mother and child. Daddy as well grin

Now, there are 2 main methods of family planning. We have the Permanent and Temporary method.

Example of Permanent method include: Vasectomy, Orchiectomy, Hysterectomy and bilateral tubal ligation(not entirely so).
Most Africans especially do not use this method because its surgical and you know the risks involved in surgery

Temporary method. This is the commonest method and it includes;
1. Natural method eg Abstinence, Knowing your ovulation period( counting your menstrual cycle, knowing the "free periods", use of beads to count the cycle like in the olden days, use of ovulation signs like increase in body temperature and mid-menstrual cycle abdominal pain aka Mittelschmerz) )
2. Withdrawal method
3. Barrier method eg use of condoms, cervical caps, spermicides
4. Use of contraceptive. Either single or combined oral contraceptive, Injectable or contraceptive patch.
5. Use of implants eg Jadelle etc
6. Use of Intrauterine devices eg copper T
7. Use of emergency contraceptives eg postinor

Note that every method of family planning has its merits and demerits. Failure rates are high for some and most comes with their own side effects. Before you choose a method you want to use make sure that you and your partner agree on it.
In all ABSTINENCE is the best.

Choose your poison/medicine wisely!
I think for the natural ways outlined: no.2 + no.3 = effective and safe. In this the same level with Abstinence.

Where was it stated on IRCC regulations and manuals that going for a second master's at the age of 36 is a red flag?

It is important to be mindful of the advices we dish out to others on this platform as several individuals rely and act on them. I can tell you for free that the applicant stand a chance of getting approval for her visa application with a second master's if she can rationally demonstrate in writing to the visa officer that the intended program is what she reasonably needs to progress in career and explain the benefits of studying it in Canada. I can barely count how many applications I know that were successful with similar profile. As a matter of fact, a matured applicant whom i vetted her SOP shared her success story on this platform last week. In a nutshell, the applicant can apply with a second masters and stand a chance for TRV success.

It will end in praise
Thank you so much for your candid advice. I will be willing to work with you to make this a success. How can I reach you? this is my email:chikafredu@yahoo.com

You can consider option 2 and 3.... if you go for option 2, do not mention you have a masters in your visa application.

Age is not a barrier Chief...
Thank you for your response. Option 2 might not work for me cos my GPA is 3.21 of 5. Option 3 might okay for me considering that for my Master's I have 4.7 of 5. But the challenge is that I don't have publications and articles I have already written on my field. Please advice further. Thanks.

Good morning all,

I am new on the platform. Please I have an issue. I recently applied for M.Eng in Computer Engineering (thesis-based and funded) in MUN but was rejected based on unavailability of supervisor. But they said that I can be considered for MASc in Computer Engineering for fall 2021 but it require additional fees of about 21,000CAD apart from the school fees which is about 2,000CAD. I have told them to go ahead and consider me for that but I seek advice for a path:

1. Do I go ahead with this MASc and pay additional fees (which I intend to raise but do not have a the moment and join them in fall?
2. Do I wait and reapply for M.Eng for next year and try and get a supervisor ahead of time?
3. Do I go straight and apply afresh and apply for PHD fully funded cos I already have my MSc from a Nigerian University.

I intend to use my uncle as a sponsor and my current account is not up to 3,000USD and I am also married with kids. Age:36

I will appreciate your kind response.
