Over 70% of the seeds have sprouted. The excess will be thinned. The guys who helped me in the planted just wasted the seeds. Instead of puting 2 per hole, they just poured it in (sabotage).

How do u intend to irrigate? Remember large percentage of cucumber body is made up of water otherwise​ its growth will be stunted and the fruit will be bitter

This farm is actually on a building site, we have a bore hole and a large water tank. But we are also hoping that the remaining part of September and the month of October still have some good rain water to pour down.

sandy loam is not too good for cucumber, because of poor drainage, i advice you grow them and nurse for two weeks, before transplanting, also re-till your soil and add sharp sand, and other organic matter that are rich. Poor drianage leads to water logging.

The soil is loamy clay and it is also rich. I believe it will do well for cucumber. But this is a trial , so if it does not do well then I learn that good lesson. Thanks

can 1 - Market more started sprouting after 3 days
Can 2 - Market more (warm water) started sprouting after 2 days
Can 3 - Marketer came out after a night

I planted 2 varieties of non hybrid cucumbers. Market more on 3/4 of the land and Technicem Marketer is on 1/4 if the land.

This is day 3 of the Market more and day 2 of the marketer.

I have set up a control experiment at home in three cans to check on the germination.

Do you come to pick them from the farm or the farmer bring them to you ? What quantity can you accommodate within a period ?

I used market more seeds. They are not hybrid but I learnt they are good. There are a number of contacts for cucumber seeds on this nairaland agric section.

The land preparation was completed and planting has been done today.

If you own a company you will not invest, you will not build it, just be taking loans to pay salaries. What kind of future will you have if you will have one at all. Corporate law should be used in running states just like in the US permitting them to go bankrupt thus cutting all thses useless obligations by law. We need to urgently restructure.

Paying salaries will not stop any governor from executing other projects if they are serious. The problem with the wage bills is that the salary paid to ghost workers is more than the salary of living workers. States should trim down their salaries by purging them of ghost workers.

Hello guys, I am trying to go into crop farming with interest in vegetables most especially these three: Tomatoes, watermelon and cucumber , with peppers on the sideline. I intend to start my farm around Ogun state with about 5 to 10 acres of land. But I have this small piece of land about 2 plot that I want to do a trial on cucumber.
The land has been cleared and the ridges are being currently made. I have purchased four cans 50grams of market more seeds

I dreamt I wanted to lodge in a hotel away from the house where I live. The hotel attendant was taking me round the rooms and he suddenly open the door of a room and I saw my landlord in the that room with a lady who is not his wife. The attendant told me my landlord is the owner of that hotel. So I wanted to quickly leave. I did not want to lodge there again, but when I got downstairs I realised i must have left my shoes upstairs and I started going looking for my shoes in that hotel when I woke up.

Please help in interpretation of this dream,
I was driving to the shop with my children in the car and there was a car in front of me not too far away, suddenly that car hit and killed somebody. Instead of stopping to take care of the person he ran away , when I saw what happened I started pursuing the car, then I got to a junction and I saw that he has entered the street by the right and there was a police check point in that street that he entered and they did not stop him but allowed him to pass. I then wanted to go and tell the police but I reasoned that the police will hold me instead, so I just drove through another street and went away.

Israel has the right to Jerusalem and they have been very diplomatic about it. Imagine the palestinians building a mosque on the same spot where the temple was.
Israel is the people of God and it does not matter whether they are christians or not. Christianity came from Judiasm, we use the same bible(the old testament) and the fact that israel will not accept Jesus christ now is part of God's plan.
