By Chile Agubuche

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has constantly been an instrument to unleash mayhem to the lives and properties of Imo State workers, and some of the anti-labour laws and activities as orchestrated by the violent Governor. With these derogatory development in Imo State, the Joint Central Working Committee (CWC) Meeting of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) of Nigeria held on Monday, the 1st Day of May, 2023 resolved the comprehensive and indefinite shutdown of Imo State, starting from Wednesday, the 3rd of May.

The Sins of Imo State Government is conspicuously written below:

2) 20 months Salary arrears owed to some workers stigmatised as ghost workers

3) Declaration of about 11,000 workers in the state as ghost workers even while they were physically at work and diversion of their salaries.

Education / Mouau Management And Hon. Sam Onuigbo By Chile Agubuche by Chile1234: 10:31am On Oct 04, 2021
MOUAU MANAGEMENT AND HON. SAM ONUIGBO (Member Representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency)

By Chile Agubuche

Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene road is no longer a death trap but a blood sucking demon that has prematurely raptured MOUAU Students continually taking full advantage and leverage of the ineptitude of our leaders with seared conscience. This is Miss Chidinma Ogbonna, a student of MOUAU who was involved in a fatal motor accident involving a trailer and she died at the spot along timber road in the same Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene Road. It is disheartening and shocking to recall how this young, vibrant and promising beautiful lady died due to bad road and clueless governance. May her gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

To: MOUAU MANAGEMENT
Even down to Gate 6, the University main gate, that is the primary death trap, the University Management has always politicised the construction of speed bumps on that road. From 2010 down, that road has been killing our students almost every year. Even as we call on the Honourable, Representating the constituency the road falls on, we also call on the Vice-Chancellor (Prof. Iwe Ofo) of MOUAU to facilitate the construction of speed bumps on that road, particularly Gate 6 to reduce the speed of the commuters thereby minimizing the level of accidents there.

To: HON. SAM ONUIGBO
Hon. Sam Onuigbo (Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency), this road falls in your constituency and we are no longer comfortable with how things are because your constituents are bereaved of the common dividend of democracy, we need Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene death trap fixed. Rep. Sam Onuigbo, you are known and fondly called Odozi-Obodo, biko bia dozie uzo anyi.

The Students voice have been crying long ago in the wilderness, everyone paid deaf ears, also recall that these students have a general language that everyone understand. I lost loved ones on that same road, I had to cry in silence but remember that there is a GENERAL LANGUAGE which must be understood by everyone someday.

Remembering all those that died on that same road from 2018 to 2021
Rest In Peace Chidinma Ogbonna (2021)
Rest In Peace Blessing (2021)
Rest In Peace SK (2018)

Education / Fatal Motor Accident: Who Is Next In Mouau? by Chile1234: 9:34pm On Feb 26, 2021
THE SAME NARRATIVE ANNUALLY: WHO IS NEXT IN MICHAEL OKPARA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE UMUDIKE(MOUAU)?

Written by Chile Agubuche

Something terrific happened in 2018 while I was still in the University(MOUAU), prior to that time, the air was filled with all sorts of stories concerning AKTC(Akwa Ibom Transport Company) buses killing our students on the Federal road(Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene road) until I witnessed it. My friend, Hon Comr Harmony Donald and I witnessed how our course mate(Obinna Chiaha of blessed memory) died that cool evening involving same AKTC bus. We saw Obinna shaking helplessly that evening, when we eventually rushed him to FMC Umuahia, he was confirmed dead at the spot, same night we rushed him to Madonna Mortuary, Umuahia. The University environment took a new shape that night which made our B. Agric practical year students to register their grievances that night with all form of anger and aggression because we had lost someone so dear to us.

It was really a bad experience that night.
We clamoured and had protested for about three days saying same thing with our placards lifted up with same inscription "We need Speed Bumps and humps on that Federal road" the anger was much in us as we marched round the University premises which made the Vice-chancellor of the University, Prof. Francis O. Otunta to address the colossal crowd that came to register their grievances. In his speech he promised to write to the Federal ministry of works to facilitate the erection of speed bumps because it's a Federal road. Our anger was pacified, because of his speech and fatherly advice. It is sad to note that from that time till now(up to 3yrs) nothing has been done on that road. That road has been a blood sucking demon demanding the blood of the students every year through AKTC buses. We don't know who is next.

I was aghast when I heard and saw the accident that occurred on the same Federal road yesterday, Three people were involved in the accident with same AKTC bus, one of the students died, the other two were admitted in the hospital, in fact one of them had a fractured bone that requires an operation today. Is it until everyone is no more that the University Management will swing into action?... The cry and death of the students should be enough to send message to the school management facilitating the construction of speed bumps. Before 2018 a life was lost there, 2018, my course mate lost his life there, 2019, a life was also lost there, now 2021, another life, what! It has been a yearly ritual with same AKTC buses. The silence is just too much, that road has taken so much life.

Had it been the lives lost was a lecturer's son or daughter, I am sure there would have been swift move by the University Management to mitigate such occurrence, but it's quite unfortunate that the common students don't really matter or have a say. I weep for my alma mater

If appropriate measure is not taken by the University Management, we wouldn't know the next person.

Politics / Unfathomable Realities Of The Govt. By Chile Agubuche by Chile1234: 8:17pm On Aug 10, 2020
UNFATHOMABLE REALITY: THE UNCERTAINTIES OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BLOWN AS WHIRL WIND TO DECADENCE AND OBLIVION

Written by Chile Agubuche

We have been blind folded by the realities that befall this very country called Nigeria, probably because we have different scenarios that have drifted the attention of the masses, particularly the youths, which are the future of our country. All this decadence falls within the jurisdiction and perimeter of the youths but the less affaires has taken bulk of the youths percentage that is why there is absolute tranquillity, serenity and decorum within the age bracket.

We are in a country where the Government will shut schools and university campuses because of the overrated and mendacious COVID-19 resident in Nigeria, used for political aggrandizement and abracadabra, yet allow political campaigns, rallies and congresses in Edo and Ogun state. The picture below is a political campaign in Edo state as of yesterday (08/08/2020), no social distance, no face mask, nothing at all...we had graduates, undergraduates, students, pupils, and many others in the political campaign yesterday at Edo state...

The kleptocrathic, sociopathic, psychopathic Government has shut down the campuses for over four months in order to protect the lives of our students due to coronavirus. But the same students have gone out there to campaign, in fact they have been hired by the same government to campaign in Edo and Ogun state for the forth coming elections, the same students have been going to the markets, churches, mosques and what a view, is it that they can't contact coronavirus all these places? ....... It sounds contradictory

If our students could go out to campaign, why can't they go back to their campuses, if our students could go to the market places, worship centres, why can't they go back to their campuses.....the campuses should be opened so our students could resume lectures, politics of calumny have eaten deep down the fabrics of the leadership of our country, they have as well allowed political abracadabra to becloud their sense of reasoning. I call on the student body known as NANS to join hands together in order to take our students back to their respective campuses....

Below is the picture of Edo state yesterday(08/08/2020) the good, bad and the ugly came out en masse for the political campaign....if this gathering is allowed and justified by the government, why can't they open our campuses......action should be the watch word now, the slumber has tarried enough.....Complacency, levity, lethargy and laxity has been birthed in the loins of the youths, we need to wake up because we have slept enough. You and I have to remove the stones. Thank you

We need to remove the stones in the words of #FatherOluoma

Politics / Letter To The Governor Of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu By Chile Agubuche by Chile1234: 3:56pm On Aug 04, 2020
Written by Chile Agubuche

The Executive Governor of Abia state, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, indeed you have been trying your best as a Governor in order to make Abia state a renowned and well developed state.......

The picture below is Aba, Abia state. At least we deserve clean and habitable environment, we aren't asking for good roads, infrastructure and basic amenities now but at least our state should be clean...

Aba(a business hub) has been recorded as one of the dirtiest cities in Nigeria, of which its a derogatory development. You are an Ngwa man, and the Ngwa clan are the owners of Aba, yet there is no mechanism to make the city clean, you were once an ASEPA chairman during the tenure of T.A Orji, yet no idea to make Aba clean, you are a TOXICOLOGIST, yet no educational algorithm to make Aba and Abia state clean.......

Make Aba Clean, and Abia state at large...as a Governor you have been trying but your best isn't commensurate to make Abia state habitable for your people.

Sycophancy has made most of the states to be where they are today like Abia state(an oil state) and that is why there is little or no development. We must root out Sycophancy and Speak truth to power to our leaders.

Health / Madagascar, New Giant Of Africa By Agubuche Chile by Chile1234: 10:23pm On May 12, 2020
By: Agubuche Chile

Can anything good come out of Nazereth? Come let me show you......Madagascar, the new giant of Africa. Its really a mystery to see how one of the poorest countries in the world has turned to the saviour of Africa and the world at large. This has shown the world that they are rich intellectually. The rejected stone is now the chief corner stone. My country, Nigeria was formally a self acclaimed giant of Africa not now again, Madagascar is the real giant of Africa.

Madagascar is an African country, precisely East Africa. Their president is one of the youngest presidents in Africa and the world at large, 45years of age. They have been known for their string will. Madagascar is gradually turning into the saviour of the world with their current herbal remedy to the recent ravaging pandemic known as COVID-19. Madagascar found the cure of the deadly virus, it is a herbal mixture known as CVO(Covid-19 Organic).

This deadly virus brought out the ingenuity in them. The attention of the world was given to Madagascar because of the research. A relegated city is now celebrated world wide. They have exported some of the herbal mixture to most of the African countries and it is working effectively and efficiently. Madagascar has up to 225 cases, over 100 has recovered, no current death. When other world powers, WHO and Bill Gate are looking for vaccines, Madagascar showed them the cure and that is why many are fighting them.

World Health Organization has refused endorsing the herbal mixture because its not really coming from them. They are waiting for vaccines, which Bill gate happens to be the highest donor in it and the lead in the vaccine. They know the vaccine will give them huge fortune and that is why they are finding it difficult to endorse the CVO by Madagascar. Gods will should be perfected.

Madagascar gave Guinea Bissau over 16000 cartons of the herbal mixture to distribute to West African Countries and that is why Nigerian Government went ahead to collect their own share. You know prior to this period, Nigeria has been working in tandem with the World Health Organization for Vaccines but they have no choice than to collect their own share of the herbal mixture from Madagascar.

We have a lot of individuals, more skilled in Nigeria but when you raise up your head with your invention, they will politically cripple you. Nigeria prides itself in politics of calumny and nothing more, and so anything away from that its effort in futility. Take a look at that young lad that invented a ventilator from the north with locally sourced materials, the government cant empower such but rather disgrace itself to beg ventilators from Elon musk. Indeed its a shame. Nigerians don't value what they have.

The Presidential Task Force Chairman, Boss Mustapha told us that the herbal mixture will be subjected to medical scrutiny before it could be administered... But do you think they will approve the herbal mixture (CVO) from Madagascar?............just answer the question within. Their senses has been ready for the vaccine already, but let's see how it goes.

Moral lesson: There are certain conditions that will bring out your ingenuity, when all things are equal, it can't just be unleashed, it needs an uncomfortable environment.... Madagascar is the case study

Politics / Coronavirus, ASUU Strike And The Nigerian Government By Agubuche Chile by Chile1234: 5:59pm On Mar 27, 2020
The problem of an average Nigerian, must be found in the aforementioned statement(Coronavirus, ASUU Strike and Nigerian Government) as it stands now. COVID-19 as a pandemic virus has been a concern for over 100 countries in the world, even the world powers are finding it very difficult to curtail the deadly virus, as it stands now the affected cases in the US has surpassed that of Spain and others, to show you how terrible it is, but to God be the glory that the number of recovered cases from this virus is much more greater than the number of deaths.

Unfortunately the dreaded virus landed and arrived in Nigeria, this was due to the recalcitrant nature of our Governments refusal to close the border on time. God has been helping our country Nigeria to combat the dreaded virus though with the nations epileptic and lackadaisical management of the virus, today we have over 65 cases in the nation and over 6 persons have recovered with 1 death. God be praised!

In the height and face of this dreaded virus, COVID-19, instead of ASUU to help the government manage the virus, they declared indefinite strike, no matter the grievances or agreement, this development at this time is an eyesore to this nation at large. In other countries lecturers are working day and night to see how they could ameliorate this pandemic virus, while in Nigeria, they are declaring indefinite strike. Strike has caused more harm than good in our educational sector, the continual industrial action has sent a wrong signal to the Nigerian students, the refusal to join IPPIS shouldn't directly affect the students but its quite absurd that IPPIS has made them embark on industrial action, very derogatory.

There is a current $2t stimulus package bill on the floor of senate, USA, this is a bid to ameliorate and savage the economy that will be at the verge of drowning after the management of this deadly virus. Instead of finding ways to savage the economy at this perilous times, our house of reps members are buying exotic cars. Why doing the right thing at the wrong time?.... Indeed its very unfortunate to see such vilifying development at this very time. I pray God will help his people at a time like this. As we pray for Gods help this period, we do all what we could do to curtail the spread of the virus. #WatchAndPray

Its no longer news that the deadly pandemic virus, Covid-19 has transcended to a wildfire in our country Nigeria. Other countries have taken strict and appropriate measures in order to curtail and curb the ready -to- devour beast(COVID-19) but the Government of our country have been shortsighted, they knew not the weight and gravity of this deadly disease that has befallen its people. We therefore advise the government to opt in for total closure and shutdown of the system for 3 weeks which will be to the interest of her citizens in order to curb this calamity. I want to give credence to the government of USA, UK, South Africa, India, Tanzania and many other countries for shutting down their system for 3 weeks in order to curb the pandemic virus. We pray and await Gods intervention but we still do what is humanly possible to curtail and eradicate the virus. Thanks.

LIGHT UP MOUAU CAMPAIGN

#LightUpMouau

If our voices cannot be heard, let them see our groanings here, let them see our pains here, let them see the anguish the students are subjected to here. Though I am no longer a student of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike ( MOUAU) but this isn't about me or my acquaintances but for my younger colleagues, its for the betterment of the students in MOUAU. We advocate a brighter future for the students on campus

We(the students) have passed through pains, we have been subjected to the influence of unscrupulous elements on campus due to the absence of functional street lights. The students valuables and lives have been exposed to all sorts of threats and external forces because of non functional street lights. I wept bitterly when one of the students told me about the ugly experience when these elements waylaid him on the way as a result of sheer darkness.

The students have cried enough to the management and we believe they are working towards it but we want it done faster because lives are at stake. The students have no place to go as they stay on campus in a random motion from morning till night, the lecturers(staff) don't stay on campus of which they don't understand what the students are undergoing as a result of this blackout.

We have tarried in darkness for too long, our valuables are taken, lives are at risk. We have been in bitterness. Let the university management see the pains the students are going through because I was a victim of this ugly situation and so many students are.

We only request for the new installation of our streetlights or the repair of the old ones so the cynosure of the campus at night could be restored.

Pls Kindly Rebroadcast till they get it

Education / ASUU STRIKE: A Door Locked And Has Been Tried By Many Keys- Comr. Agubuche Chile by Chile1234: 8:45pm On Jan 31, 2019
ASUU STRIKE: A DOOR LOCKED AND HAS BEEN TRIED BY DIFFERENT KEYS BUT TO NO AVAIL.

By: Rt. Hon. Agubuche Chile(Speaker of the 25th parliament SUG MOUAU)

A reawakening to all Nigerian students..A must read to all Nigerian students.

I greet you all fundamentally and alutarisely. Dear Nigerian Students the ASUU strike is over 84 days, let me bring it to your consciousness and let it serve as a reawakening and rejuvenation. Since the inception of the strike, 50% of the Nigerian students were less concerned about it and also loved the break in academic activities. Some consciously, unconsciously and subconsciously wailed and said in pidgin "Abeg make ASUU strike continue till after Christmas"

It grieves my heart that some Nigerian students are taking this issue with laxity, levity and lethargy being lackadaisical and complacent about the whole scenario. Okay, let me break it down for you....If this strike is not called off before the forth coming general, brethren the strike will be up to 7 or 8 months because after the general elections in february, it will take over 2 months for inauguration, and after inauguration, No right thinking Government can release billions of naira for an organization immediately. I dont know if you are following.

If we, Nigerian students could be serious about this strike issue by making it trend all over the media sites such as Facebook, twitter et all it will act as an emissary to the government indicating danger. Nigerian students are tired of staying at home. I will still commend the leadership of NANS ZONE B ably and sagaciously led by Comr. Bishop Okereke for mobilising the Nigerian students on a peaceful protest yesterday at Onitsha head bridge. I support the idea of boycotting the general elections if the strike is not called off because is an act of disenfranchising the Nigerian students.

I must commend the leadership of ASUU for being dogged but they must understand that we have a president that is uneducated, we have a president that don't care about the educational sector, we have a president that made a Professor(Prof Onwuka) a junior minister that is Minister of state for education, we have a president that made a mallam, a senior minister(Adamu Adamu) that has been inconsequential since the uproar and fracas in this ASUU strike, we have a labour minister that has been inconsistent and uncertain in the resolution of the 3 months old strike. They said there would be ASUU and FG meeting this week but uptill now, No date and time that is to say they don't care. I therefore enjoin the leadership of ASUU to consider the students I calling off the strike, students should be their priority not even their demand because government is not ready to respond to everything.

ASUU STRIKE: AN ADVENTURE GAME, THE UNCERTAINTIES HOVERING THE SCENARIO. THE EFFECT AND HEAT IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE NIGERIAN STUDENTS

By: Rt. Hon. Agubuche Chile(Speaker of the 25th parliament SUG MOUAU)

Nigerian Students were overwhelmed and still basking in the euphoria of the New development as regards the ASUU strike which is "FG reaches agreement with ASUU" not until yesterday, 9/01/2019 around 9:59pm, the so-called ASUU took to their twitter handle and dashed the hopes of our Nigerian students to melancholy and a sigil of caricature(below, I will show u the tweets).

The ASUU leaders are now playing with the Nigerian students, it is now visible to the blind and audible to the deaf. The ASUU strike is now an adventure game, its now a sigil of caricature. Hitherto, they took to their twitter handle to conduct an opinion poll as regards "calling off the strike" or "full government compliance"... Nigerian students voted massively, which gave a statistics of " Calling off the strike(69%) and Full government compliance(31%). Till now no positive response. This has gone political.

This same ASUU leaders, opted in for the forthcoming elections despite the strike, leaving Nigerian students behind. That is to say that, they don't care about the Nigerian students. They have secured the bag with the INEC chairman as regards the forthcoming general elections. What stops them calling off the strike, so Nigerian students could join the elections and go back to class. Are we not good to also secure the bag? Its such a Rapacious attitude.

The year 2013, ASUU went on strike for 6months, thereby truncating and terminating academic activities. The Nigerian students cant just watch the so-called ASUU to do that again irrespective of the interest. This ASUU strike has been a norm in Nigeria but we know its never possible for this present Nigerian government to satisfy ASUU. The students said WE NO WANT ASUU STRIKE AGAIN, NO BE BY FORCE. #EndAsuuStrike

This is a sinister or a clandestine act by ASUU and Federal Government to disenfranchise the students from the forthcoming elections. 95% of our voters cards are still in school, the polling units are there, then how can we vote? Note that the students cant vote for a government that has no value and worth for education. I think let us try a different soup this time around.

Statistics has shown that the youths have the strongest voting power in this forth coming elections, that is to say we can freely determine who will be our president(Ceteris paribus/all things being equal). The question is, how can the students vote?
We are tired of staying at home, what Nonsense!

ASUU STRIKE: A BANE TO THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM, A CANCKER WORM THAT HAS EATEN DEEP INTO THE SYSTEM( This strike has caused more harm than good to the Nigerian students, we see no dividend)

By: Rt. Hon Agubuche Chile(Speaker of the 25th parliament SUG MOUAU)

Sometimes I wonder if we are progressing in this country called Nigeria. Nothing is working, nothing is moving, everyone going haywire.

Since I came to planet earth, I have been hearing of ASUU strike, ASUU strike. Everytime they embark on strike for the same thing, the same reason but after the strike our Educational system will still be begging for mercy. There have been paralysis in the academic activities with the so-called strike in our universities. The students are directly affected, no lectures, those about to defend their project have been on hold, I won't be wrong if I say that the destinies of the Nigerian students are on hold.

Since there is no way forward after the strike, then why should the strike paralyze academic activities in our Universities?
After the So-called strike, our tertiary institution s are still way below world standard.
Since the Federal Government failed to reach the Momorandum of Action(MOA) 2017..i see no reason why ASUU should stop academic activities, why not they back up the claim through a legal injuction.
What have ASUU done with the money previously released? The Educational system in Nigeria is seriously approaching it's burial ceremony.

I call on the National leadership of the Nigerian students to immediately swing into action inorder to curb this menace and depravity. They can't keep our future on hold and relax. They should go back to lecture hall and then go to the negotiating table with the Federal Government because this Strike can't heal the wound in the Educational system. Thank you
Education / Is Examination A True Test Of Learning Or Studying Prowess? by Chile1234: 2:51pm On Aug 14, 2018
EXAMINATION IN NIGERIA: IS IT TRULY A TEST OF ONE'S LEARNING AND STUDYING PROWESS?

By: Hon. Agubuche Chile

The fear of Examination in Nigeria is the beginning of Wisdom as postulated by some wise fellows. Is Examination truly a test of Knowledge? Many have been confounded by the validity and answer to this question during the years. We are in the Educational/Academic system that encourages vabatim, the system that is just hovering within the circumference of the outline, the system that encourages money for score and Cummulative Grade Point Upgrade. The system that encourages compulsory purchase of handbills, the system that encourages nepotism, the system that has no conducive halls and environment for learning, to mention but a few

How then can you ascertain the true test of one's learning and studying prowess? Many fall sick when they hear the name EXAM, many are enveloped with goose bumps when they hear the name also, why? Because there is no equality between the learning environment and Examination environment .. This makes many involve in so many malicious and detrimental act and practices to make sure they pass the course. Are you gonna blame them? You shouldn't blame them because the system encourages it.

Education / MOUAU Students On A Peaceful Demonstration/protest by Chile1234: 7:39pm On Apr 30, 2018
By Hon. Agubuche Chile
Due to the Painful departure of our beloved 400level Agricultural Economics Student known as Obinna Chiaha (SK) of MOUAU through motor accident.

The wounded students came out en masse through peaceful protest and demanded for the immediate removal of the Chief Security Officer of the school and the immediate construction of Speed bumps along the Umuahia- Ikot ekpene federal road which has turned to a blood sucking demon. After registering their grievances in the school vicinity, fortunately the Vice Chancellor(Prof.Francis O. Otunta) arrived and address the students inorder to maintain absolute tranquility and decorum in the school, giving them assurance for the immediate construction of speed bumps

Education / The Daunting Admission Process In MOUAU, Abia State by Chile1234: 1:09pm On Dec 08, 2017
I have been engrossed with so many challenges faced by our jambites who chose MOUAU as their first choice institution. The Regime of this new Vice Chancellor (Prof. Francis Otunta)has been so dull and discouraging both to staff and students at large and even the jambites. The sluggish admission process in the school is one issue that has been bothering everyone anytime and anywhere. I don't think or envisage that admission will be given to about 2000 people because of his sluggish and snailish administration.

I feel for the candidates that chose MOUAU as their first choice but believe that u will be given admission and God almighty will bring it to perfection. Congratulations! Congratulations!!
