The problem is that Lagos embassy is currently not accepting cases from NVC, not just you alone, a lot of people are patiently waiting too, so I can only advise you to wait until they issue any update.

If you know your fiancee met the poverty guideline, then you only need the most recent tax year not 3 or 2 years tax transcript for your interview.

Now is it sacrosanct to present a 3yrs tax return transcript or would the 2yrs be enough? Would I need a co-sponsor or just an evidence of non- filling from the IRS. Thanks

Yes we did get mail in the mail box after 2 weeks, you will get yours don't worry except if your petitioner moved he/she should notify USCIS too

I don’t think the spousal visa will make any difference or will be a better option to K1 and at times it depends on your best plan as a couple.
Yes the visa interview dates could be frustrating but I think it is quite understandable and requires a lot of perseverance.
I did a little analysis about it and I understood the process a little, you know the US school calendar at the moment is FALL and so many institutions are waiting to welcome their international students from all around the world including Nigeria, so they’re doing more and more of F1 visa interview lately for them to meet up with fall admission process.
Hence, why there are no dates for K1 and the rest for now. There’s this WhatsApp group for F1 visa which I belong and I noticed the embassy is making dates available for them to apply for students visa, so it is clear they wanna clear some of them.

If the embassy do not have capacity to conduct interview for us they wouldn’t have requested our petitions from NVC and the status wouldn’t show READY but my concern is, what if the consul do not extend the four months validity of the approval coz I read someone’s testimony where he said the consul decided not to extend his expired approval caused by unavailability of dates and that was the cost him an outright denial.

Very True. I was approved last year Feb from USCIS and i am currently in the US. my interview was May this year. its really dicey, i have people waiting as well. So you never can tell. Scenerios differ

The thing is dicey, earlier in February this year, the available dates were only for 2023 but around March till early July this year closer dates of one to two months period became available in 2022, dates can be available at anytime. Cases differ for each individual and so you can not use the case of someone with Noa1 of 2021 January who just got interview date recently as your yardstick to judge because you don’t know what caused the person delay outside the normal processing time. I know people whose K1 cases got approved from uscis to nvc including their interview just between March last year and July this year. Just stay positive and pray to your God

Please I want to know what's happening with those who are waiting to book interview date, does it mean it's hard to get interview now and please I heard to get interview date now could reach like late 2023, someone told me that recently, I want to know if fiancee Visa is still worth it or I should consider spousal Visa.

While it is very good to save cost, there are some positions you get to, you will leave smaller work or assignments to FOCUS on something BIG.
