MANGER, THE HOME OF NATIVITY.

Abuja pastor Bro Joshua Iginla paid a visit to the manger where Jesus Christ was wrapped and kept after delivery.

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times” (Micah 5:2). This prophecy was fulfilled when Jesus’ earthly parents, Mary and Joseph, were called to Bethlehem for a census of the entire Roman territory (Luke 2:1–5). While they were in Bethlehem, the time came for Jesus to be born (Luke 2:6).

After He was delivered, Mary His mother wrapped Him in cloths and laid Him in a manger (Luke 2:7). Later that same night, shepherds from nearby fields found Him just as the angels told them they would (Luke 2:10–12).

Instead of coming to earth as a pampered, privileged ruler, Jesus was born in meekness, as one of us. He is approachable, accessible, available—no palace gates bar the way to Him; no ring of guards prevents our approach. The King of kings came humbly, and His first bed was a manger.

According to reports,a suspected female kidnapper was caught today around 1:23pm along Remilekun Ayangade Street, Olayemi Estate, Agbele Area of Ikorodu.She was eventually taken away by the Vigilante Group of Ikorodu, popularly known as the Onyabo, led by Mr Lanre Labinjo and ocked up on Number 3/5 Building on the street.


Angry mobs are waiting angrily outside the building demanding for jungle justice on the kidnapper while the landlord of the building,Leo, a Chief is waiting for the security agencies to the rescue.

I don't know how true is that but according to reports shared by SpectaScope Nigeria,a man was caught today in Onitsha stealing tubers of yam.He was paraded with the yams.Below is what SpectaScope wrote......

'This man was caught this morning in Onitsha main market stealing yam tubers. This very wrong of him and a crime by law.

Officers supervising soldiers of 174 Battalion of the Nigerian Army embarked on community service at Odogunyan bus stop, Ikorodu, Lagos.

Commanding Officer, 174 Battalion Ikorodu. Lt Col. Benedict Ezeh said the bad portion of the road causes holdup and constant accidents.

He said the community service today is also with the assistance of the Oba of Ikorodu who assisted financially but that the government needs to come in as what they are doing today is not enough to stop road accidents and traffic jam in the area, but only to reduce it.

Residents of Television community, very close to the famous command junction motor park staged a protest over the killing of a young man, called Sunny, popularly known as Small, by soldiers.

According to reports, a uniformed soldier shot Sunny, at close range which led to his death and unrest in Kaduna.It was also gathered that some people have lost their lives and others injured from bullet wounds.

Parents and family members of the deceased and other residents have shut down command jucntion, which is a major access road linking Kaduna to Abuja.

Policemen and soldiers have been deployed to the area to restore peace and order, but the residents insists on burning down the famous Command Secondary School.

"FULANI HERDMEN" The way forward..

The audacity at which most of these herdsmen commit serious crimes to humanity is alarming.

This is Ihovbre primary school in Ikpoba Okha local government, a supposed grooming place and a citadel of learning. It is sad to note that these herdsmen have invaded the class rooms, fields and the entire environment of this school.

This is highly condemable and man inhumanity to man, I humbly call on our working governor to come to the aid of these children and put a definite stop to this.

I also appeal on Edo state house of Assembly to quickly swing into action, and work on a bill to regulate the activities of the Fulani herdsmen.

I am Comrade-Austeen Imoniche Oviosun and I want a better society.
