According to a Nigerian Prophet Gabriel Atansuyi Tunolase who lives in Lagos,his son was allegedly killed by police.He said despite police killing his son and trying to cover it up,they frustrating him by seizing the corpse.He is appealing to them to release the corpse to him for burial.

The National reconciliation committee of PDP led by the Governor of Bayelsa State HE Dickson and Ibrahim Mantu met with Ali Modu Sheriff towards resolving the problems of the party at PDP National Secretariat,Abuja.

According to unconfirmed reports, no further court action will be supported in the party as the court of appeal has already provided a window for political solution for the wellbeing of the party.

#Allahu Akbar , my course mate Captain  Shehu-Usman Mahmoud Gidado being  laid to rest at Maimalari Cantonment Military Cemetery , Maiduguri.  Gidado had been close to my heart right from the time we met during the Army Selection Board exercise at  Kaduna some years back. At that time  I saw in Gidado an honest, religious and very friendly personality .  These attributes remained the identifying qualities of Gidado till his last moment on the mother earth.

He died while depending the good people of our country from the heartless and brutal attacks of cowards. We pray Allah (SWT) to have mercy on his soul and admit him into Jannatil Firdaus. My condolences go to his good family, our course mates and  the entire country men and women. #Adieu Gidado'

Bauchi Sends 15 Students to Train in Czech Republic, As Gov. Abubakar’s Czech Visit Yield Fruits

In line with drive to grow the human capacity of the state, the Gov. M. A. Abubakar led administration have offered 15 post graduate students, drawn across the state, scholarships to train in the Czech Republic. The students will majorly be studying modern agricultural methods and techniques and will leave for the Czech Republic tomorrow. On completion of their studies, they will join the budding Department of Agriculture in Bauchi State University, Gadau to contribute their quota to state building.

Receiving them today at Government House, Gov. Abubakar said this was one of the fruits from his visit to Czech Republic last year. He said an MoU was signed with the Czech authorities to improve the state in areas of man-power training, agriculture and tourism. He urged the students to work hard and give back to the state. He also stated that their allowances and tuition have been paid. Gov. Abubakar said that despite meagre state resources, the state had sacrificed to train them. He promised his administration’s support to them to further to higher levels if they do well, stating that the state is ready to play its part.

The beneficiaries of the scholarship are expected to boost the State owned University, and are critical in the drive towards agricultural rejuvenation in the state. Part of the agreement is that beneficiaries will serve a minimum of 4 years after studies at the Bauchi State University, Gadau.
