I am of the opinion that KEGITE GROUP SHOULD BE BANNED IN UNIVERSITIES and polytechnics. Looking at the way a final year student was shot dead yesterday in the school Hall 3, the murder of KEGITE chief or Mayor is akin to the murder of a cult member, many NIGERIAN students have admitted that many KEGITE GROUP members are cultist who use the KEGITE as shield for their cult activities.
The reason why KEGITE GROUP SHOULD BE BANNED
1) There's no KEGITE GROUP member that graduates with good result
2) There's no social impact from kegite group
3) There's no economic value from kegite group
4) most kegite group members are irresponsible and ill-mannered
5) There's always a stigma of waywardness and lawlessness associated with any kegite group member
6) Kegite group bring alot of distraction from students
7) Kegite group in most Universities and polytechnics is a cult group, no matter how they package it to be

Players and officials of Super Falcons have poured out their grievances after they were delayed for hours at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport upon their return from the African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifier in Abidjan.

In a now-viral video, the players and officials appeared to be stuck at the airport in the early hours of Thursday, while some of the team members registered their grievances.

It was not the expected welcome for the Super Falcons who arrived from Cote D’Ivoire, where they secured the country’s participation at the 2022 AWCON.

The Nigerians had bested their West Africans 3-0 on aggregate to earn a chance to defend their continental crown in Morroco later in the year.
Speaking with TheCable, a source close to the team said the Super Falcons were delayed at the airport due to their “failure” to provide the officials of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) with their inbound polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test for COVID.

Reacting to the situation, Randy Waldrum, Falcons head coach, described the team’s predicament as “frustrating”.

He added that the squad had “already taken the test multiple times to be able to play the game.”
“It is very frustrating to come back home, and the players have to go through this. This is nonsense, all these COVID rules… we have already taken the test multiple times to be able to play the game, so I don’t really understand it, but it is very frustrating,” the American said.

On her part, Onome Ebi, Falcons defender, said the situation is confusing for the players as “all the doors are locked, and we can’t go outside.”

“They locked everywhere — all the doors are locked, and we can’t go outside. I don’t even understand what’s happening. We are just arriving after a very crucial game, and all the girls are tired, and some of the girls are crying because we can’t go out and we don’t know what to do,” she said.

The Super Falcons were eventually freed in the morning after the intervention of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).

Singer, Portable has lashed out over the arrest of Marlian singers, Zinoleesky and Mohbad, who were arrested in the early hours of Thursday by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.

The Cross River State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Alphonsus Eba said that the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, would no longer be allowed to cross the boundary of political decency.

He stated this Tuesday while reacting to the governor's visit to Cross River where he reportedly berated Governor Ben Ayade for allegedly attempting to stop the Peoples Democratic Party rally last Saturday.

Eba alleged that the PDP broke into the Calabar Sports Club to stage a rally in the state against police advice, adding that Cross River would no longer condone this "as the state is not an extension of Rivers State."

He continued, "Nyesom Wike has been a constant meddlesome interloper and today, we want to say that enough is enough.
"What he has set to do overtime is to import political cannibalism from Rivers State politics into Cross River State.

"Cross Riverians will no longer allow him to cross the boundary of the line of political decency."

According to Eba, the youths in the state have been liberated and will not give space for such incivility any longer.

"The Ayade administration has liberated over one million youths and the youths want to tell him that he will have no space to cross any longer.

"We are a peace-loving people and very decent and civilised and led by two very prominent professors.

"We want the world to know that the governor with his level of exposure, education, and political capital cannot reduce himself to the level of a man with poverty of intellectual capacity," he said.
