We seem to forget she can't marry the first guy. First love or not! Her mum sings it as a warning to her not to bring a particular tribe home where he falls into. If she gets wind of the fact that she is dating someone like that, she will be automatically grounded.

Two years ago, he became her first love after bowing to internal pressure by her cousin to accept him as boyfriend. They are both from different tribes and she is her father's only duaghter. She believes her parents can't let her marry him and her mum once warned rather jokingly not to bring someone from his place home. Her parents are not aware of him.
Last year, she then meets another dude from her place and they start having an affair. Her first guy gets to know and keeps making trouble with her. The second guy knows of the first guy but is staying put because he feels she will finally come to him as they are from the same tribe.
She travels out of Lagos and on her way back stops over at the second guys house to spend the night with him. They had fun! Then the first guy calls her as he was suspicious she was no longer where she travelled to. She denied she was anywhere else apart from where she travelled to. She even begged the second guy not to talk so that the first guy won't know where she is. The second guy complied, after all she was in his house and playing the first guy for a fool.
Even though she has asked the second guy to trust her about gradually bringing her relationship with the first guy to an end, he feels she might also cheat on him in the future afer she has ended the relationship with the first guy.
