Submitted -11th july Approval -1th August
My younger brother application for undergraduate studies was approved. We couldn't believe how fast it was. Did paper application at VFS Abuja and didn't link it online cos we thought it was too early to start tracking. Just to receive the approval mail on Wednesday.
Note: the application letter came from the Lagos embassy which means the application was processed in Lagos |

For all new applicant
Try as much as possible to avoid schools in Dublin if you're on budget as the accommodation and living expenses is ridiculous. You can apply for job from anywhere in Ireland . You can only apply for single entry while in Nigeria and if you're planning to travel during studies. Then, you have to apply for re entry visa which is guaranteed till the expiry date of your GNIB. The cost is 100 euros Be mindful of the schools you're applying to. Check their rankings on google before you apply. I will advice, you apply only to the top ten schools. You will thank me later. As for staying back, it's possible if u find any company that can sponsor your work visa which is not easy as portrayed. However, it differs on individual basis. Also most people come to Ireland as route to Canada or Australia. Thanks |

Good afternoon house,
I applied for an undergraduate program in university of Winnipeg for my brother that just finished secondary school. Thankfully, he received his admission letter after 2 weeks. The tuition fee per year is stated as 8,650 Canadian dollar but he is not required to pay till he registers in Canada. He was given an option to pay 1000 tuition deposit. However, in case he doesn't study in the school, the deposit is not refundable. What is his chances of applying for study permit without paying d deposit. cos am not in support of paying for the deposit and the application is refused, then we lose a whopping 1000 Canadian dollar. Thanks for the help |

A friend of mine here in Ireland have a case with UK immigration but still got her student visa.Though her application was denitrification at first but she appealed and got her visa. |

Can you explain more on scholarships? i checked out some,it was stated to be taken in Ireland, i graduated with 2.2,which of the test will back me up strongly in other to get Business related graduate scholarship(msc) ... Thanks Ireland do not require any text and the cut off for scholarship is 2.1. But you can contact the school directly for financial based scholarship. Its better to apply directly to schools and constantly email them for any information. Pls don't pay any agent to help you secure admission, you can do it alone. |

Philadelphia: Please gurus in the house help me. I'm looking for an affordable school ($20,000 max) for Masters in Supply Chain Management that does not require GMAT or GRE. Also, I don't mind writing the GMAT but I need help to prepare for it as well as TOEFL. I'm not scared of exams but I don't want to fail and waste money. How are the TOEFL questions like? Are they really difficult? I hope to take the exam by next month but can I start applying? Please answer and do the abuse me or ask me to read precious threads. I would not be asking if I have answera to these questions. Thanks. It's only university of windsor that offers supply chain management without GMAT or GRE. Also, its better to write GRE than GMAT cos GMAT is more technical and complex but achievable |

Mcowubaba: When did you send the mail, Friday or Saturday and what time? If it was on Saturday, How will the reply on Saturday The didn't come to work na The will reply soonest (Monday/Tuesday) ..
But relax, most likely you're NOT going to write any English proficiency exams.
I just want you to hear what the Embassy will tell you directly, some of this issues are not given generic answers, so to be on a safe side. Wait for their response or send another mail, if the are taking too long to respond to the first one.
If you have read my previous comments on this thread you'll realize that I'm not actually the person involved in the traveling. I only came here for more information.
Thanks Thanks very much. I can now wait for the reply without the fear of high B.P |
