RomanceThe Kind Of Guy Every Girl Deserves by Chineydum(op): 8:53am On Sep 15, 2017
The Kind Of Guy Every Girl Deserves

You don’t deserve just every guy out there. You deserve one that will treat you right for who you are and will shower you with a copious amount of love because you deserve to be loved.

You deserve a guy that will hold your hands as you walk together in the streets, a guy that will walk by the side of the road just so he can shield you from the harm of oncoming vehicles.

You deserve a guy that is willing to die for you. You deserve a guy that will love your appearance and every time he beholds you can’t stop speaking about your pulchritudinous nature.

You deserve a guy that loves you with your make up on and without it that you begin to wonder if he notices the differences. You deserve a guy that will always notice a change in your appearance, appreciate the things you value like when you get a new hairdo, a new pair of shoes, and a different piece of jewellery.

You deserve a guy that will compliment you for everything about you, even for the things that you don’t like about yourself like the pimples on your face that you are trying to conceal with your foundation. You deserve a guy that will notice it and look straight in your eyes and declare to you that you are beautiful.

You deserve a guy that will make you believe that chivalry is not dead. A guy that will draw out the seat for you when you go on dates and ask you for what you want over and over again even if you say, anything is fine.

You deserve a guy that will call you when you just before you get home on date nights to know if you arrived home safely. You deserve a guy that respects your body, a guy that respects the power of a woman.

You deserve a guy that will fulfil your fairy tale fantasies of the perfect guy. You deserve a guy that will call you to say he called to hear your voice and will not end the call till he you say the last word. You deserve a guy that is aware of your flaws and mentions them to you often but still adores you regardless.

You deserve a guy that will listen to you when you start talking about how your day went and ramble off into blabbering and beautiful nothings. You deserve a guy who would look into your eye enraptured by the way you speak, captivated by your voice.

You deserve a guy that supports your goals and pushes you to be better in a very loving way because he doesn’t want you to get hurt in the slightest way.

Even if you don’t believe it, you deserve all of these and more not because you are a keeper or a wife material but because you have a loveable heart and you are worth it.

Stay Fresh and Positive

This Is Why You Should Laugh Even In Your Loneliest And Darkest Days.

Life is not always a bed of roses. Sometimes we are caught unawares with the bad happenings of life, all of a sudden a bubbly and blissful can turn into a gloomy one characterised by gross darkness.

Everyone faces days like this and we wish that they can pass very fast but time seems to take forever before these trying and troublesome time pass our way.

When you feel like the weight of the world is all on your shoulders and it seems that things cant get any better and the only hope is to wait for it to get worse than it already seems. Don’t smile because smiling is easy. Laugh and laugh harder. Laugh at yourself; laugh at your situation because laughing makes you stronger.

It helps you to find the strength to rise above the situation and helps you look at it from a better perspective.

When you get a phone call that disaster just knocked on your door or is in your neighbourhood, that your best days are behind you, that a loved one has passed away, that the one you love no longer adores you and wants a break up, that you got an F on the test, that you are officially broke and bankrupt.
Verily I say unto you, don’t cry, and don’t cower in shame or rejection.

Don’t throw a pity party, don’t get frustrated, depressed or dejected. Don’t smile either. Laugh. Laugh out loud, let others hear you laughing and ask you what is funny. Laugh despite your pain for in laughing you will find the antidote to numb the pain. In laughing you will find the relief from the pain.

Laugh till your facial muscles get sore. Laugh because it helps you get a positive outlook on things.

When you feel pain in your body and hate yourself, when people embarrass you or make a caricature of your body because you are plus size or skinny.

Laugh when you don’t know what to do that you type into Google the words ‘‘what to do’’ when you don’t have a clue what to do with your life and you don’t know how to say a prayer. Don’t smile. Laugh.

When you are sick, tired of all the hustle and bustle of life, when stress and fatigue beleaguers you, when friends desert you, life throws lemons at you and the universe is not in your favour; don’t smile. Laugh. Laugh because when you laugh you will find a way somehow.

You will find the courage to move on.

When you have a lot of questions and no answers, when you feel like quitting and throwing in the towel and giving up and putting an end to your life; don’t smile. Laugh.

Let out silly outbursts of vowel sounds. Listen to the babblings of your hilarious melodies.

Laugh because laughter is the best medicine, one that heals the soul. Laugh because you underestimated the power of laughter to bring cure, calm and clarity to your life.

Laugh because life is good and you can have a good laugh for the price of nothing.

Nairaland General7 Things You Should Remind Yourself Everyday To Keep You Motivated In Life by Chineydum(op): 9:10pm On Sep 14, 2017
7 THINGS YOU SHOULD REMIND YOURSELF EVERYDAY TO KEEP YOU MOTIVATED IN LIFE

Words have power. We conform gradually to what we constantly feed our minds with through the words that we listen to. More importantly are the words we tell yourself, the inner thoughts we think.

If you think fear, gradually you begin to act fearful and if you think success you conform to the image of your inner self and the words of your inner man.
Speak the right words to change your life.

A good way to start is by telling yourself that you can.

Yes, you really can because you simply can. If you’ve been struggling with negative and self degrading thoughts, begin by declaring these 7 positive affirmations to yourself for a period of 21 days and you will begin to see yourself in a new light.

The words you’ll tell yourself will change and you’ll begin to believe you can because you can

1.You Can Learn Have Or Be Anything If You Are Willing To Pay The Price

The world was created for learning and right from birth we begin to learn things, how to crawl, how to talk, how to read and write.
No one was born a doctor, writer, teacher or poet.

We learn these things as we lead our various lives. Tell yourself that you can learn anything that you can’t to become what you want to become.

You have a brain, utilize it for learning.

The brain has the capacity to grasp all the information in the books ever written up until today. Don’t waste that grey matter. Unlock the genius in you.

Apply yourself daily to continuous learning. The moment you stop learning, my dear friend you are dead.
Say this out loud I can learn and be anything I want to become if I am willing to pay the price.

2.You Can Say No To The Good Things In Order To Say Yes To The Best Things

An attitude that seeks to please everybody is fatal to your success in life. If you don’t have a destination every bus stop will look like your destination.

When you are focused towards a task, you shut out every distraction that comes your way. You can’t afford to everything that calls for your attention.

Your give your main task your 100percent and undivided attention because when you begin to share your attention your energy and zeal towards your main tasks gradually diminishes and you begin to deviate from your main purpose.

Every day you have to say no to good choices, the better choices that tempt, seduce and beguile you in the attempt to crave your attention.

Say no emphatically to lesser opportunities. When you do this you are giving way and opening doors for the best of opportunities to knock on your door. Say No.

3.You Can Be The Best At What You Do If You Are Willing To Keep At It

To be the best at what you do, first you have to believe that you can and then see yourself becoming the best.

Affirm to your conscious self though words that you can become the very best at what you do.

It doesn’t end there because the most important part is the commitment to put in the work, determination, dedication and discipline to become the best.

Every exceptional individual never stumbled on success.

Basketball legends Michael Jordan and Lebron James all put in hours of decided practise to their work when others were asleep and you can say they stumbled on success.

And you will never stumble on success, appear on the cover of time magazine or success magazine by luck or chance, there has to be work done.

They made conscious steps that inched them closer to their goals, consistently committing and adding the extra to the ordinary things they did.

To become the best you’ve got to keep at it. The distance between you now and the you that becomes the best is time.

4.You Can Do More Than What You Think You Can

In his book Think Big, Ben Carson MD, explains in details the enormous potential of the brain and it is sad to say that we barely even tap into a quarter of its amazing potential.

Push yourself to do a little extra.
It’s simply the extra that makes the ordinary extraordinary. Challenge yourself to leave your comfort zone.

Add 10 more push ups to your daily routine. Wake up a little earlier. Write 500 extra words. Read 50 extra pages.
In building a muscle you have to work the muscle by lifting weights that cause the muscle to get strained and stretched.

It will hurt, but after a time your muscle will become adjusted to the work and it relaxes.
It gets into the comfort zone.

If you continue with the same amount of work, your muscle will not grow, it will remain the same because it needs a new amount of increased work to strain and stretch it at this level.

5.You Are The Truest Version Of Yourself

You can’t afford to copy others and try so hard to duplicate their lives because no matter ho hard you try you will only get to the position of second best.

You are the only one like you and this may sound cliché bit its truth remains valid. Science has proved its fact in our different and unique thumbprints.

Learn from the experiences of others but never lose yourself in the process. Strive everyday to become the best you can be because that is all you can be come in the very end.

Read personal development books that teach self improvement. Learn about the human mind, the human behaviour and you will understand why we do the things we do. Seek for answers and you will find. Everyday become a better you.

6.You Can Rise Above Your Past And Look Into Your Future

Failing Forward the title of leadership guru John Maxwell’s book teaches 12 principles on how to fail forward. He mentions of the fact that you can’t afford or let your past failures define you.

Failure is not fatal. Choosing to stay down and quitting is the death of your success. When you fail, brush yourself up and try again. Everybody has a past but tomorrow is better and tomorrow is yesterdays today.

So make a decision to see the opportunities you’ve got in front of you rather than lamenting on the past errors of your yesterdays. Learn from your mistakes and move on don’t dwell there.

The rear view mirror in a car is not to be focused on like the wind screen that provides you a picture of where you are going. When you focus on your rear view mirror rather than the windscreen of your life, accidents will occur and most times they are fatal.

Enjoy your today as much as you can, when you do this you are creating a better future for yourself. Let go of the past and live in the now.

7.You Can Dream Big And See Your Dreams Play Out In Real Life

Big or small, dreams are dreams anyway so why limit yourself to dream little dreams. Make it a daily habit to remind yourself that you can dream big every day, because only you can put a limit to your imaginations and your thoughts.

If you can think it then you can achieve.
Dream. Believe. Achieve and repeat tomorrow. A life without a vision and dream is a life devoid of joy and bliss.

The ultimate motivation towards our dreams and goals is what keeps us awake, agile and alive as go about our various daily activities.

Make sure to dream everyday whether sleeping or awake.

The key is to dream because if you can dream it then you can.
Go ahead take a moment, close your eyes and allow yourself to dream.

Let your thoughts roam wild, for these are the very sparks of life that ignite the creativity and genius within us.

Nigeria is undisputedly the giant of Africa. Blessed with natural resources and favourable weather conditions, Nigeria is a tourist’s haven.

Amidst the numerous endowments and blessings bestowed upon the country living in Nigeria is not as picturesque and rosy as it seems. Citizens still live between 1-2 dollars per day.

The bedevilling insurgency of the Boko Haram menace and the militant groups, a rise in kidnapping and the recession that is taking its toll on the face of majority of the populace.

Nigerians are survivors and will find a means of survival no matter how hard the economy becomes, and they won’t stop there as they will also rise above the circumstance.

Nigerians will never give up and give into mediocrity.

Thus the cliché among the citizens, one that strongly embodies their Nigerian mindset is this ‘‘ Naija go better’’ meaning that Nigeria will get better no matter what the current situation may look like. It embodies hope, strength, and unity among a people that believe in change.

It speaks the mind of a people that believe in a tomorrow of better things, a people that see light after the tunnel, a people with an optimistic mindset. Little wonder why the citizens of this ever green country have risen from the lowest of points to the zenith of success.

Innovation

Nigerians will never settle for less than the best. Their belief in a better condition drives them for more, to seek ways in which the good can become better. They will create situations that foster growth and progress of their desired goal.

And because of this innovative nature, Nigerians are usually bored with the old methods, ideas, leaders and ways of doing new things and achieving tasks. Hence another word that is on the mouth of every Nigerian and the topic of discussion among the citizenry is change.

Positivity

Nigerians have seen bad days, they have been through hardships, inter communal clashes, insurgency, insecurity and unemployment. Yet they still look on to the brighter side.

Engage a Nigerian in a conversation and before long you’ll hear them talk about how the country is blessed, the sense of calm in the atmosphere, the binding cord of love that has been evading the outbreak of war. Nigerians are intentionally positive.

They don’t dispute their woes and challenges but practise gratitude for the blessings they have.

Grit

A Nigerian will be the last one in the pack to call it quits. A Nigerian will not give up under the toughest circumstances. They will fight to the end for what is rightfully theirs.

They think long term progress and growth so they are willing to endure present hardship, unfavourable conditions and bad leadership because they believe that they will get to the land of their dreams.

Their belief popularised by the common saying ‘‘naija go better’’ keeps them going regardless of present challenges. They see beyond the current discomfort into the desired future of bliss, peace, security and national development.

Creativity

You can’t take it away from Nigerians. They harness their ability to bring a dynamic and unique perspective towards things. Nigerians can boast of very talented citizens in sports, education, and arts.

They approach every situation with a dynamic perspective in order to get the best out of it. Whether it be a national problem or a recession, only Nigerians can make a joke out of their current situation for relief of stress.

Passion

Want to feel the passion of Nigerians? Walk into the stadium when the Nigerian team is playing. The energy is high, atmosphere is pumped up and you can literally feel the passion in the air.

This is a peculiar trait to every Nigerian. Nigerians are enthusiastic individuals, goal getters and individuals with extremely high spirits towards any endeavour they undertake.

Successful people are always passion driven towards their work. Their fire and zest remaining ever burning till the end is reached.
BusinessDo You Also Want To Make Easy, Fast And Furious Money by Chineydum(op): 8:31pm On Sep 14, 2017
Do you also want to make easy money?

There has been a proliferation of get rich quick schemes, get money for almost free, and the easy money and ponzi scheme like businesses.

It is natural that we want more. Economics tells us that human wants are endless, hence our craving for money, the means which we can get our needs and insatiable wants met.

These enterprises and venture disguise in the lie that you will get money for free, easy money without working or providing value, and this appeals to the average human being who wants to feel good and smother their emotions while they have all their needs met in the twinkle of an eye.

Money follows a principle. When you provide value, you’ll get an exchange in reward financially, and if you work, you also deserve a reward which can also be in monetary rewards.

Anything that does not follow this pattern is outright scam and you shouldn’t fall victim to it.

Be wary of gambling and betting- it has been the death of many, and anything that seems to raise the power of your money to a very high exponential. In the end it will be detrimental to you.

Today it is hard to see people who will stick with the right way of doing things today as everybody is going the other route and looking for shortcuts.

Don’t be deceived. Commit to live an excellent life. Work hard. It will be hard but it will more than pay off in the end.
Nothing good comes easy.
Don’t give up.
Don’t quit.

If you are in pain, get a reward for our pain and strive to be the best you can be. If you are broke, work to add so much value to yourself people can’t help but pay you for your invaluable content.

Seek personal development and personal growth. Work hard on becoming a better you every day.

The opportunity will come and when it does you’ll be prepared and then the papers and people will say you became an overnight success but you know deep down that you worked your way to the top.

This message is to everyone out there, pls keep doing what you do diligently. Keep your head up high. Grind. Live. Love. you can be a champion and a trailblazer. When you do money will pursue and overtake you and you’ll have more money than you can spend in a life time.

Good money that enhances the value of your life not one that reduces you into an animal living in a moral cesspool, living against your religious and social beliefs. Have a blessed day ahead. Your money is on the way. Stay positive.
