Your statement shows you're an outsider. Shaibu is well known in the political sphere of Edo state. In short, Oshiomhole was his Godfather in politics. Obaseki was the relatively unknown in the equation. Oshiomhole brought both to power only for Shaibu (the Godson) to turn Judas and betray Oshiomhole because of Obaseki (the Ungrateful one). I never said Shaibu is new to politics.
What I am saying is that Obaseki had the opportunity of doing away with Shaibu when they joined PDP because part of the agreement was that Obaseki should pick a deputy from mainstream PDP but he insisted on Shaibu. So at what point did Obaseki betrayed Shaibu?
Secondly, can Shaibu win Oshiomhole in any election in Auchi? The answer is no.

In fact, Obaseki should show Shaibu the difference between a governor and a deputy governor.
In case you don't know, these are some of the sins of Shaibu.

1. Shaibu has been undermining the governor.
He called an APC leader in the state asking the to work together to elect a speaker against the wish of the governor with an altimate aim of impeaching Obaseki.

2. Shaibu travelled out of the country without even having the courtesy of telling the governor.

3. On the day of swearing in of commissioners, Shaibu refused to attend. He was rather partying in Abuja during the swearing in of members of the national Assembly. .

4. The final straw that broke the carmel's back was when the governor saw on a national TV that his deputy had sued him for a poprported plan to impeach him. The governor was shocked because there was nothing of such. Even if there was, Shaibu should have waited for an impeachment notice to be served ton him then he can approach the court.

Can a deputy governor try this in other states? Well, it was Obaseki that gave Shaibu that leverage to behave anyhow.

Obaseki is trying to play Wike's pattern of politics by running to Oshomole to secure forces against Shuaibu's governorship ambition, but if Oshomole is politically smart, this is the right payback time for Obaseki by supporting Shuaibu either secretly or openly because a gang up of Oshomole and Shuaibu would be a tough headache to Obaseki.

Bro, who is the governor of Edo state? Obaseki or Shaibu? How una dey take reason matter self? Shaibu can never get PDP ticket and Oshiomhole will never allow Shaibu smell APC ticket.
Everybody knows that it is the turn of Edo Central to produce a candidate so PDP, APC and LP will be fielding candidates from Edo Central. In all Shaibu can't get any party ticket till the next 8 years when Edo central would have completed it's 8 years tenor.
Everybody outside the state thinks Shaibu is a powerful politician because of the enormous responsibilities Obaseki was giving to him.
Shaibu and Oshiomhole are from the same ward, he has never won Oshiomhole in that ward not to talk of winning the local local government.

Both of them have come to realize that the problem between them is Shaibu. Shaibu will go to Oshiomhole and tell him lies about Obaseki, then come to Obaseki and tell him what Oshiomhole did not say.

Not correct sir. It was Shaibu that betrayed Obaseki. PDP asked Obaseki to pick a member of PDP as his deputy but he said no. He insisted on picking Shaibu. Why didn't Obaseki sacrifice Shaibu then just to get PDP ticket?

You know nothing about Edo politics.
Oshiomholes wanted to play godfather in Edo but he was rejected. Oshiomhole rode on the back of no godfather in Edo state to become governor and he want to be a godfather to Obaseki and the Edo people resisted it.
Secondly, after Oshiomholes an Auchi man had spent 8 years, he doesn't want Obaseki to complete his own 8 years that was why we resisted Oshiomholes and insisted that it must be 4X4 (Togba) besides, it will also alter the political calculation in Edo state as Ize Iyamu whom Oshiomholes once called a thief and cultist will now start counting his own 8 years which will give Edo South 12 years uninterrupted years as governor.

I just like the way Obaseki is handling Shaibu. Shaibu is trying to play wike in Edo all because of his selfish ambition.
It is Obaseki that gave him all the powers in the first place that is why he is misbehaving.
If I may ask, who was the deputy governor of Rivers State under wike? Them born Odubu to talk when Oshiomholes was governor? Who was the deputy governor of Kaduna State under El-rufai?
It is because of Obaseki has been playing gentleman politics where he sees Shaibu as his partner in the business of governance that's why Shaibu thinks he has arrived.
How many deputy governors in Nigeria took over from their ogas?
You don't become a governor by fighting your Boss but through loyalty. Besides, it's not yet time for the Auchis after Oshiomholes 8 years as governor.

See men. Meanwhile, them bounce Philip Shaibu's entourage. See how he was looking like an IDP.

Don't stop o. APC should continue to borrow until the day China comes to take over Nigeria.

In as much as I see wike's threats as initial gra gra because the dynamics of Rivers and FCT are different, I condem this act by the herdsmen. If he can have the boldness to stop their activities in FCT, that will be a good achievement.
