My dear, flourmill company jst used u guyz 2 play around and @ last dey did wat's on their mind. Imagine wastin time 2 invite us 4 d test and wen we came 2 ikeja, we saw multitude dat culd make a country's populatn. As if all d graduates in Africa are looking 4 job. If u ar tryin 2 verify d data of som1 who claims 2 hav workd in som organizatns outlined in d cv, u hav 2 b careful abt it so u dnt spoil things 4 urself and d applicant. D company u ar tryin 2 contact may nt b hapi wit his resignatn or depature. It may b dat d company recently changd its structure and had its past employees' records formated/re-archived especially, the one-man business. My broda once made dis mistake of contactin d former employer of d guy he wantd 2 hire and was shocked @ d ruthless remarks d employer made abt d guy. My broda called d line back and dis tym a lady picked and said d name of d guy is nt in their past employees' records, he nevr workd here. My broda was confused and terminatd d guy's appointment. Aftr a week, my broda's frnd visited d office and saw dis guy's cv on d desk. He started recommendin d guy to my broda as d right person and even mentiond d same company my broda previously contactd as d place he met d guy as full tym staff. Dat's hw we lost him. It's nt necessary 2 verify but wen it involves money/business/partnership it's better to track his origin(home, contact address, family etc). @shalljane, let's nt b deceived here. Evry1 is free 2 xpress himself in public but in a sensible way. Bsc and hnd serve in their similar ways. Dey both hav their limitations and advantages. While bsc is extensively built on theoritical reasoning, deductions and designs hnd concentrate more on practicals and techniques. both share parts wit d other 2 balance up. D gospel truth is dat one thing can com first b4 anoda(jst like A b4 B not B b4 A unless there is an anomaly/fault). By hierrachy, bsc is placed higher dan hnd 4 nw, unless there is a reverse. It doesnt mean bsc holders ar better dan hnd holders or reverse. It depends on individual degree holders and their abilities. U were wrong wen u said knowin hw is better dan knowin y. Hw do u kn hw when u dnt even kn y or y wen u dnt kn how? U first first understand why b4 u kn hw 2 tackle it. Look @ ur post again! Employers require hnd or bsc depending on the kind of job and functional areas while som employ bsc based on hierrachy 2 chase crowd or play along wit societal/personal sentiments.
