Note: All the documents must be verified physically via Microsoft teams video calls.

NHS no they joke when it comes with documents verification and they aren't in a haste. So prepare for their werey.

Forget all the noise in the internet, people get Cos on a daily basis. I got mine last week after submitting all my documents, the Cos came out in less than 24hours. I didn't pay any money.

They can't stop Cos but they are tactically delaying COS for all this smaller organisations pending when the new law takes effect. I got my COS less than 24hours immediately I finished my documentation, maybe is because is NHS trust.

It depends on the trust. If is NHS trust, once you are done with your documentations, they will will issue you Cos in less than 24hours.

Apply ke, you don't apply for COS but the trust will apply once you are done with your documentation.
NHS documentation no be here. Please anyone applying should make sure that you must get reference for all the hospitals in your CV.

Good morning my people, please I have a question, I'm done with all my documentation and my COS was billed to come out last week Thursday but they asked me to provide reference for a hospital that was in my CV which I removed when I was updating my CV to capture my CBT and IELTS, this was done following the advise of the person guiding me on my relocation process from NHS. When their superior sent me an email to explain why the hospital was removed from the updated CV, I explained to him that it wasn't supposed to be their because I worked in the hospital as a volunteer when I was nursing my mum sickness. Finally the sent me another email that I must get reference from the hospital.

When my school and the last hospital I worked before resigning sent their reference, I was told to fill employment gap to show what I was doing for the past 1year that left gap in my CV which I explained to them and pointed out to the hospital in my CV, they asked me to get reference from them which I did. So far so good I have given them 3 references. But my anger now is that the hospital were I did volunteer service doesn't have domain name, according to the MD, the domain name will be ready soon. But will they reject the HR personal email address I shared with them yesterday? Please am confused. My deployment date is supposed to be 27th February. Will this delay affect my deployment date?

Apply for CSO!!!!! You don't apply for Cos but the company that gives you job will do that for u. Focus on getting a job first.

With the current minimum wage in UK, is only band 5 nurses that can earn it. This the reason why home office is retrieving a lot of licenses.

TB test centre is only in two cities in Nigeria, Lagos and Abuja. I did mine at Saint Nicholas hospital Lagos.

Below 11years: 30,000

Since you have 2yrs post Nysc/Studies experience, Let your DN/BOSS give you a reference to that effect and added a reference letter from your boss during your clinical practice/hospital while in school
Occupation health clearance, They do send a form to fill in this respect.
Verification: Passport Data page,Bank account (i.e Address), House address,NiN, Driving license can work out

Satisfactory: They ought to send you a form to fill.

Right to work: you will get another form on this.

Contributions are welcome as Trust differs.

My present employer have given me the reference, I intend getting the second one from hobby's Friend who has a hospital in our city, he has already discussed with him, but based on this now, maybe I will visit my school for the second reference. At this point, I think is only the second reference that is holding me back.


For what was stated in the pre employment letter, I don't need to spend much as they will pay for everything and balance money for CBT and IELTS. Visa, flights and one month accomodation is on them. I just want to prepare so that once we get the COS, we can apply together.

Please I need suggestions on an offer I have.

I am a Registered Nurse, hoping to relocate to UK. I have passed through all the steps and currently preparing to write my OSCE in the UK. I had to sponsor myself to UK for my OSCE exams.

So recently I got job offers from 2 NHS Trusts in UK after passing their job interviews. They are willing to give me COS for my Skilled Worker Visa Processing, but none is willing to make any financial commitment for my relocation.

THEY MADE IT CLEAR THEY DO NOT OFFER ANY RELOCATION PACKAGE.

This means I have to;

Pay the Skilled Worker Visa Fees myself
Pay NHS Surcharge myself
Pay for flight
Pay for my TB tests myself
And even cater for my accomodation on arrival.

The cost runs into millions of naira, which I do not have.

My questions;

1. Does anyone thing the offer is worth it, and should I accept it considering how difficult it is getting NHS offers now?

2. If I decide to go through Health and Care Worker Visa Route, the visa processing fees will be cheaper than Skilled Worker, but is it advisable?

3. Is it advisable to take a loan and invest in the relocation plans, since I have an offer already?

Good morning dear, congratulations for passing your OSCE. You don't even need to bother your self much my dear since you now have your UK PIN, start applying by yourself and if you are a mental health nurse, you get a lot of people looking for nurses with UK PIN, most times this things are by luck. Am yet to write my OSCE but I did several applications with the help of my hubby and we are lucky, I have two offers, one is in Brighton but they don't offer relocation package and the last one is NHS trust and they are offering everything. Just apply and pray my dear God will see you through. Good luck.
