In other news today is vigil for me n lo he decided not to sleep just looking like lucozade.

Thank you , wil be going to the hospital today. I suspected it earlier but was told off by hubby and mum. Wont listen to them next time, Like they say "the mother's instinct is always right"

its nothing very serious just take him to the hospital they know what to do. My son had it so the nurse that circumcised him during his circumcision noticed it and cut it. Though he bleed just a little sha but she advised me to give him paracetamol, abidec and zannat because of the pain and a little jaundice though the zannat is for any infection that may likely occur during the healing process. Then breast milk heals it faster

My 3 year old is tongue tied and will be going for minor surgery when he turns 4. His was quite obvious and I could tell from when he was born. He had difficulty latching on to the b****t and could not stick out his tongue much. We took him to the doctor but he said we should wait till he is older and see if it will cause any problems but now its affecting his pronunciations so it just has to be treated.
For a 2 month old it's best to go see your doctor and decide on the way forward. A lot of times just a minor cut at the base of the tongue will do but I think it also depends on the severity of the tie.

Please who can enlighten me on cutting of a tied tongue in a 2months old baby

There isn't my dear. Newborns are meant to sneeze often, it is actually a problem if they don't. Sneezing helps them to clear their respiratory passage . There is no cause to worry.

My baby had rashes but i apply Cacatin on her before putting on the diaper. I use moflix too but i think the cause of the rashes was that i wasn't changing the diaper as frequently as i should. But the rashes are gone now with the help of Cacatin
