RomanceThe Single Mother Mentality,is It Right Or Demonic? by chivic(op): 11:51am On Jan 21, 2016
There is a wearisome trend that have craved into Africa for which Nigeria is no exception. Young ladies these days do not have an issue with being a single mother and easily celebrate people that's are single mothers.Incase we do not understand, it's simply a licence to "flirt arround "
The question is does our, religion, culture, morals support it?or is it an outright madness or a new age innovation?

PoliticsBuhari's Economic Team Vs Jonathan's Economic Team,which Is Better? by chivic(op): 12:14pm On Jan 20, 2016
It's a known fact that a leader who surrounds him self with the best hands has the greatest propensity to succeed. A president need a good blend of seasoned politicians, technocrats, professionals and advisers .However,in meeting up with a complex and dynamic economic situation most president have gone ahead to form a sound Economic team.lets look at SOME of the members of the economic team side by side and determine who had the better team.
1)Good luck Jonathan Vs Buhari

2)Ngozi okonjoiwiala Vs Kemi Adeosun

3)Lamido Sanusi VS GODWIN Emefiele

4)Namadi Sambo VS Osibanjo

5)Femi Adesina Vs Andu Ogbe

6) Desiani Alison Vs Ibe kachukwu,

7)Olusegun Aganga Vs Okechukwu Onyelama

9) Labaran Mako Vs Lai Mohammed

10) Barth Nnaji Vs Babatunde Fashola

11) Stella Odua Vs Rotimi Amechi..

Kindly disregard the fact that I substituted the current minister of petroleum (Buhari) with the state minister of petroleum (Kachukwu) and used the Birth Nnaji as the only minister of power under Jonathan regime and also restricted Fashola's role to the ministry of power.
PoliticsAre There No Fearless Judges And Lawyers? by chivic(op): 3:14pm On Jan 14, 2016
The anti corruption war has become the reigning slogan in Nigeria in recent times.Infact, this slogan can only be rivalled with other seasonal slogan like "oga at the top","na only you waka come" just to mention a few.
Only recently, president Buhari voices out his frustration on the calibre of Judges we have and even stated that he is looking for fearless Judges. His intention was clear,He need Judges that will neither collect bribe, nor look people in the face while administering judgement with justice. Judges who are not sentimental who do not care if the die after pronouncing an unfavourable judgement on the guilty one no matter how highly placed.

The president was thinking right because he felt that series of court injunctions was affecting his corruption drive and being the kind of person he is,he will prefer to pick up an accused and the fearless judge will pronounce he/she guilty and sentence to jail without any long legal Jargon.
However, his idea of a fearless Judge might not really be the true definition of a fearless Judge in a democratic setting. In a democratic setting, there are well laid down procedures on how to try an accused, even if you are sure they committed the said offence. But obviously from the presidents body language he is not interested in that long judicial procedure. He will prefer a ;you are corrupt! You are under arrest! You are hear by sentence to.....years in jail and your properties and assets are hereby confiscated.

Moreover, with the continuous disobedience of court orders and no Judge or Lawyer is standing up to say NO to this abuse of court orders, obviously,we don't have a fearless Judge or lawyer.infact few that have tried speaking out where speaking as though they were talking from there bed room.some days ago, one fearless
Lagos-based lawyer Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa ,came out to sue the government for the immediate release of the Olisa metuh, only for us to wake up and realised that he has withdrawn his petition sitting series of calls as reasons for his withdrawal .surely he is not a fearless lawyer.Or is he?
Oh! where is the late Gain fawemi?where is the former Femi Falana?(probalby waiting for political appointment) where is Olisa agbakoba, where is Festus Kiyamo? Etc.the seems to have lost their voices.Even the NBA who should be going on strike to ensure that the Law is respected are just only indicated in a soft tone that it's not right but can't take a decisive stand. How then can we find a fearless Judge? President Buhari must be right. They are scarce.

PoliticsMissing Budget A Wise Move By The Presidency by chivic(op): 12:25pm On Jan 13, 2016
Politics is a game and to play this game you must be able to influence the mind to gain support. This is why campaigns, propaganda, gimmicks and sometimes lies are used to sway in support and get the majority to your side.
You will recall that a barrage of criticism followed the ridiculous spending of the Jonathan administration on the presidency,a point which the APC seized to its advantage and painted the already corrupt administration to look more corrupt.
However, the recent proposed 2016 budget indicated some shocking discovery that showed some unbelievable billions which the Buhari's govern wishes to spend on the Presidency alone. This shocked many political observers to their bone marrow as people wondered why a supposed conservative and moderate spending Buhari or so they think will spend more than Jonathan on the presidency. It was unthinkable and confusing to believe that it was in the proposed budget .
Some of the controversy are the intension of the government to spend N39 billion in running the Office of the President with major allocations going to car purchase at N3.9 billion and another N189 million to change tyres.
Other compared controversy are highlighted below :
In 2014, Jonathan spent N12.2 billion on the State House, while in 2015, the government spent N6.6 billion for the presidential office, amid dwindling revenue occasioned by sliding oil prices.
The costs cover the State House headquarters, the president’s office and the office of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. They also cover the budgets of the State House medical centre and the Lagos Liaison office.
One of the most outstanding State House spendings in 2016 will be the purchase of BMW saloon cars at N3.63 billion. It is not clear yet what purpose the cars would serve.
The State House budget also contains a repeat of projects the Jonathan administration repeatedly allocbated funds for. An example is the purchase of computers, which has featured in budgets of previous government each year.
In 2016, the State House will spend N27. 5 million on computers, while N268.9 will finance computer software acquisition.
Aso Rock will spend N764.7 million on recreational activities.

The installation of electrical lighting and fittings, which received substantial allocations in 2014 and 2015, will gulp N618.6 million next year.
vehicles in the Presidency.

This findings raise eyebrows as it was becoming embarrassing even to the APC lead government as there will be almost no tenable reason for that even if the great Lai mohammed should come out with a cover Hollywood story. The need to act fast before the national assembly starts deliberation on the mater became necessary.
The question now became, how do we withdraw the budget and change those controversial area without the knowledge of the PDP so that when the budget is read Lai Mohammed can come out and say that people where just falsifying figures to taint the image of APC. The need to smuggle the budget now became imperative.
PoliticsRe: $2.1bn Arms Probe: N1trn Found In 4 Ex-service Chiefs’ Accts by chivic(m): 11:47am On Jan 12, 2016
Relax.2.1 billion dollars is not up to 1 trillion naira.if 2.1 billion dollars was approved for Arms deal, then the one trillion that was found is either not true or there are more looted funds either from power,Inec, rail etc that found its way into their account.

What we simply want is that he should prosecute and jail any one found corrupt by the court of law whether opposition of friends .If the court process is a problem, there could be a policy that will allow bring about a legal arrangement that could make the process faster.

PoliticsBuhari's Corruption Fight Is A Good Intention But Bad. Execution by chivic(op): 1:31am On Jan 09, 2016
The time has come when we need to tell ourselves the blunt truth irrespective of our diverse divide on religion tribe or political party affiliation.
There is a cancer that has eaten deep into our country and this cancer is not just peculiar to any political party but to the system and entity called Nigeria which must be treated and stopped.
Prior to the current reigning party's inception(PDP & APC) we had the military and their corruption level was so chronic that they did not only steal in billions of naira but stole in billions of dollars.Infact one of the former dictators wife was quoted as saying that even if the federal government should collect or freeze their account, that she will not be as poor as Dangote(A man who was worth over 15 billion dollars as at then) This sounds outrageous but real.Mind you the "Dasukigate" is just a fraction of that (2.1billion dollars). This shows that corruption in this country "no be today "
We must all agree and support the fight against this cancer as corruption is affecting every single person in this country in one way or the other.it has become so bad that it's even affecting the unborn children.
However, there is a controversy with the pattern of this fight against corruption. The pattern in which the DSS/EFCC are going about it,is not only dangerous to our democracy but laying a wrong precedent that will gradually fight us later.
The DSS/ EFCC now invade homes at night like commandos "kidnap" or capture a suspected corrupt person and disappears and will not release them until the deem it fit. This unlawful detention could last for weeks, or even months. It has become so worrisome that they have grown to be above the law in there display of gross impunity. Not even the pronouncements of a judge can dissuade them.
DANGERS
Prior to this period, if a police should arrest you,you could claim that you want to see your lawyer and that you are not meant to stay in detention for more than 24hours.Go and try it now or let your lawyer make sure statement and the police will tell you to your face" forget that thing, na before, no be now, that even Generals and prominent figures are held and not even a court judgement can change it."
Also in this situation the accused no matter how innocent is considered technically guilty and could be tortured at such.
Sadly is that even the judiciary are afraid to challenge this trend by either going on strike or adopting other means to protect their proffesion. This act is not only making nonsense of our democracy but insulting the Principles Of separation of power .
The government should also understand that granting bail and seizing the passport of the accused after the have presented a surety is ok.But they could also ensure that such people are well monitored just in case they are scared that they will jump bail.

Finally much as we should all agree. With the current administration's fight against corruption the execution of this drive is faulty. So therefore, corruption must be fought and everyone should support they fight, but it should be transparent enough so as not to be viewed or seen as witch hunting as this could reduce the shameful tag they corrupt criminals are to go with.As it is now, even if they are convicted alot of people will view them as political martyr which should not be.

It's greed that causes people not to pay tithe.People always try to use common sense to analyse the things of GOD.Its an error!!! Tithe is like an insurance to your wealth and a consecration of a part of what God has given you.

Christianity EtcRe: Man Steals From Oyedepo Runs Mad - Mikeangelonews.com by chivic(m): 9:39am On Oct 30, 2015
When it comes to men of God or those that profess to be one, you just have to leave them alone even if what the are doing is wrong. If you talk bad against them or insult them, then you stand a risk of a curse. There judgement will come from the Lord.David realised it when an attempted murderer and a demon possess SAUL was after him.And when he had the chance to kill saul,he said I would not touch the anointed of God.God said he is the man after my heart. Spiritual things can not be analysed with mere moral sence.Be guided.
PoliticsRe: Reforming NCS by chivic(m): 10:09am On Oct 26, 2015
Major corruption we see in Nigeria is as a result of Government negligence .I therefore define governmental corruption as knowing what to do,and having the means to do it,but not doing it.
