Except you request to invest in Primary Auction it not Secondary doesn't take more than a day or two depending your discussion with the bank. I f you have accounts with different banks so long as it isn't for fraud no issue. You can contact all your banks to see who has what and you make choice quietly then transfer your funds there if need be instead of allowing yourself to be boxed into a corner by a particular bank.

Go to First Bank on Monday, ask for a Personnel [/b]incharge of [b]Treasury Bills/Bond investment, ignore your account officer. Tell the person you want to invest in Treasury Bills. Ask for Tenors and Rates available. They may likely inquire of how much you want to invest.

There is what we call mid life crises in the life of men and your sis husband is going through that at the moment and I'm also going through mine but trust me,only a man with the holy spirit and love for christ and lots of self control can maintain a good moral standing at that stage in life.

The mid life crises of a lady starts at 20 to 35 and that of man is a bit longer from age 30 to 50. At this stage most people will feel like exploring their sexuality to the max but tend to calm down latter in life and turn out to be very faithful to our partners.

I was expecting to read about the way he beats your sis or denies her the required stuffs but you made it clear that he takes care of her...

Chizzy. marriage is more complicated than you can ever imagine and I will advice your sis to remain in her marriage and build her home rather than leave cos there is no guaranty she will end up with a faithful guy cos 8 out of every 10 men will cheat on their wives and those 2 who don't cheat will struggle to be faithful in essence..only a spirit filled or highly principled man will remain faithful to his wife...furthermore,she is not new to his philandering act even long before they got marriage which makes me wonder why you are holding brief for her.

The only unfortunate twist is the carelessness of the guy in not using protection but then your sister can insist on protected sex at least to safeguard herself but leaving her marriage should be the last resort except the guy becomes violent....no marriage is perfect.

She is courageous. It's not easy sacrificing yourself for a cheating spouse.

My eldest sister resigned from Kaduna to join her hubby in Lag and she is so messed up right now. All she saved, the hubby took from her with one excuse or the other. He doesn't spend time with her, all that is between them is food and sex (which she always have to beg for once in two - three weeks.)

Hers is so bad. He gives irrelevant excuses for not coming home coz he's a telecom engineer. Going through his texts, she discovered he has countless ladies whom he met on dating apps like badoo and had cheated on her two days after their wedding (the marriage will be a year in May).

Right now, she's processing a job in Abuja so that she can flee from the marriage. I have learnt to prioritise my job over all things. In as much as I love my husband, my job comes first. Losing it is like losing all. My sister case is so terrible that I now send her money for upkeep. This is someone who saw two of our siblings through University and didn't marry till she's in her very late twenties when the pressure on her from home was much.

I agree with you. I think she and her sister aren't ready to think out of the box yet. That's why she's giving excuses. I don't know why anybody who wants to run a successful business in this recession, would be thinking of going to open a boutique(a biz that deals with wants), when she can successfully run a fmcg biz(that deal with daily needs). A lot of people fail in business cos they don't do feasibility studies... It isn't just enough for a person to be a graduate. You must be innovative and think what others aren't thinking. But most women like to get involved with the lazy man kind of business idea and that's what makes them fail. When the economy was good, by now most of my clients would have been thinking of changing cars for their spouses but hey, that isn't the case now as people are beginning to manage a lot. Yes, people need clothes but trust me, it won't be an immediate need to them as such. With the 3.5m(her 2m and sister's 1.5m),she can comfortably start a business that deals with fmcg (soap, foods, food stuffs, etc). Children must eat, babies must change diapers, people must wash clothes, etc. Items that people consume on a daily basis, are things she should venture in, that can bring steady turnover. Not some lousy boutique business.

It's unfortunate she married a dog who can't keep his sick in one place. My younger sister was almost married to her fiance last year and the moment she started talking about his cheating tendency, I lost interest in the relationship and when she broke up with the dude(after introduction) and my parents were trying to talk me into making efforts to get them back, I vehemently refused. If a full grown adult cannot use his head in a relationship, the person should better stay single. It's one thing to make a mistake, and it's another thing to continually be irresponsible. I take the issue of infidelity in marriage/relationship, very personal.
