Same here . Biometric and eligibility completed too. Background check in progress. Please what is the next thing. Applied november 2022 with my wife and kid. Noticed my kids own still the same thing . Eligibility didnt change neither background check.

God did it:

First application: 21 May 2021
Second application: 16 May 2022
Eligibility: 20th march
BVL: 10th April
Visa documents number: (I noticed this on the 16th of April)
Passport request: 19th April

I applied through an agent and it has been a battle with my agent in terms of following up with my application. I ordered gcms note on the 7th of march and it dropped on the 6th of April.
After my BVL dropped, i kept messaging the agent to send a mail as alot of people were testifying on the aftermath of sending emails. Agent ignored me but i kept pestering my husband also did. I asked myself what’s the worst that could happen if i send this email myself given that i have seen visa documents and expiry date? So I took up the courage to send the email yesterday (19th April) at 12 noon just with the same format as seen here. Later that night after work, i decided to check my Spousal sponsorship application for sny update on that, while checking that, i noticed an update was done on my visitors visa application but I couldn’t see any further info since I didn’t have access to the account. I decided to send another email before going to bed. I just got a call from the agent that my PPR dropped yesterday.

My God is good and kind to me. He will come through for anyone that have been waiting upon him for their testimony.

Thanks everyone. Just few mins ago I was here asking on how to track my application after I received bvl correspondence. Last night I sent the mail with the format dropped here to all the email addresses and just few mins ago, I got a mail for Original passport request. Received bvl correspondence on April 14th.

Applied for Canada VV: Jun 20,2022
Got the mail asking me to proceed with biometric capturing same day.
Proceed for Biometric Capturing in London: Jun 22, jun 22, 2022 - biometric uploaded immediately.

Since then it was zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz nothing regarding my application from IRCC.
About the same time I applied for Canada I applied to visit the United State of America 🇺🇸
So I went for my America visa interview in London November 9th, 2022.
Go that immediately.


Still didn’t hear nothing from IRCC

Travelled to America 1st of February and returned February 9th to London.

Nothing from Canada gave up on waiting.

Up until yesterday the 18th April 2023
I got my BVL letter
And a PPR 19th April 2023.

My long awaited visa is here finally.

This is just to encourage someone out there that stay positive, it will happen.

Who are u to tell me to relax, this is a public forum and I am allowed to voice my opinion. I have an application since 2021, I have been patiently waiting for almost two years. Don't say anything on other people's comment with so much judgement when u don't know their stories.

i dont see any thing wrong with the word relax , i think you being abit harsh to him in your response . i for one could use that word in this horrible wait time Canada has got us , the least anyone could do to reassure me is relax .... no be insult ..... we are all here to help each other . i appled May 2022, you applied September 2022....u can imagine how im feeling tooo. please take it easy on him

I read somewhere where an two applicants used webform to write to them after BVL that he hasn't seen any other correspondence and shortly after his PPR landed , you could try that.

I’ve been a silent reader since last year July when I applied for a Canadian visa. I got my correspondence letter yesterday and I saw a couple of people post that you can track your application after your receive the correspondence letter. I registered on the tracking page tonight and I saw my visa application number and expiry date. Now I can confidently wait for my PPR request. Thank you all for being so helpful, you don’t know how helpful you’ve been to a lot of silent readers

As you can see, it got updated yesterday 12th April 2023 meaning those that applied in 2021 (majority applicant) got their PPR yesterday which took them about 798 days to finalize their application. You get my point now

And yes 4 people I know got PPR yesterday and they all applied in 2021

I should have received mine too but got a message on my CIC portal (request letter) saying I should to submit and upload my new passport since the one they have on file is expired

My question is I applied as a group with my daughter who is a minor and am still yet to get her PPR. Is there anyone experiencing same and how soon do you reckon I will receive her PPR?
