Politics › Re: Attorney General Goofs In Court by Choco5: 2:05pm On Jan 03, 2010 |
vigasimple: I am sorry you don't know what you are talking about. On a practical note it is more serious than 'one line goof'
Let me use an example, If you work for Virgin Nigeria, and your employer ask you whom do you work for , you do not only insist that you work for Nigeria Virgin but that Nigeria Virgin is the right name and you are the one who brought up the name issue as Nigeria Virgin when the documents incorporatng the company said the Name is Virgin Nigeria. You are liable to be sacked immediately
In law, there is ocean of difference between Nigeria Virgin and Virgin Nigeria. If you an iliterate you may not know or appreciate the difference, but when there is litigation in court, then that becomes mightly important.
Infact, you sue/bring proceedings against the wrong party, you will have wasted your time, money and the judgement is unenforceable.
It is a resigning or firing offence for the Chief Law office of the country not to know the name of his employer or what was writen in the constitution.
SHAME ON HIM.
AGF Idonkia is just a mighty big fool, he knows it, he must be on drugs made from stolen Nigerian money.
He should resign immediately. MrCrackles: Tell him again pls. . . . Na wa o wetin I do na? |

ebere1712: @choco No matter what you think, deporting a people from their own country is simply laughable. Fashola has got no idea. Don't get me wrong he is a good guy (so I've heard), but hey the guy is not an overtly intelligent chikena. Anyways, kudos to Lagosians for voting the right person.
@Go back to the east, I laugh in swahili. Lagos was the capital of Nigeria and the government built all the public parastatals there. Furthermore, Many people left their home towns to take advantage of these facilities. I agree that lagos is a yoruba state but, like it or not, more than 70% of the houses and companies in lagos is not owned by yorubas. If easterners and southerners are to leave lagos, yous would only be able to sell the under priced structures left behind for some money, and after that have nothing left. So my dear don't even think for one second that you would inherit millions if easterners were to leave lagos.
@post I wonder what would become of people with disabilities in Nigeria if every big cities start sending them back to their hometown. Beggars have human rights too. The federal government should work with lagos state and other states to try to assimilate Nigerians with disabilities. I know begging is a bit of a social malaise but the solution is not to remove people from lagos. I don't think that action is even legal. Im not refering to you. Im talking to Mekus. |

What is your concern if Hausa's go back to Lagos? Lagos is a Yoruba state so it should concern only Hausa and Yorubas. Why are you in Lagos anyway, aren't you one of those tribe fanantics? Return to the east.
I have noted you as a divisive, tribalistic animal, Mekus. Well meaning Ibos, Yorubas and Hausa's will agree. |

I used to trust them for informed news but now they just seem biased. This goat is looking for media attention as a hero or something. Imeobong: While at this, let me please digress to observe briefly that Citizen Abdul Farouk Muttalab who has placed Nigerians name ingloriously at the International high crime arena is a citizen of the world and not just Nigeria. It has become fashionable for the rich and famous in Nigeria to outsource parenting of their wards to different schools around the globe. My first reaction and I believe that of many Nigerians on hearing the sad news was that we do not convey bombs that will eventually kill us alongside the targeted victims. In other words, we are no suicide bombers. That some crazy foreign National may have illegally acquired our International passport that could easily be obtained at beer joints. I was rudely shocked hours later when the identity of citizen Farouk was unveiled. One thing that gave me solace was that citizen Farouk because of his highly privileged background, was educated and raised in all manner of places but Nigeria. So, the young lad never identified with our perennial problems of energy challenge, debilitating road networks, ASSU strikes, crippling corruption and total absence of a secured future for kids of his age group and beyond. It was while his parents were trying to shield him from these problems that they decided to outsource his early training first to a British International School in Lome and later Uk, Dubai and Yemen. It was while in Yemen that some ‘teachers’ thought him nonsense and he totally forgot that Nigeria in spite of the fact that we may share the same religious beliefs with the citizens of these countries, but our challenges as a country are far more threatening than the esoteric pursuits of Al Qaeda.
Chike Orjiako This is a new year and a new dunce is revealed, a Mr Chike Orjiako. Wetin concern 5 month old baby trafficking with Abdul Farouk's parents?? Not only is he a nosy goat, he is a talkative. Happy New Year Chike! |

The Internet allows any dunce to speak his mind even if it is full of rubbish. Connoisseur: The main duty of the military is to protect the territorial integrity of the nation. Notwithstanding, they have been known to interfere in domestic cases to avert complete or total break down of law and order. The Nigeria of today is on a precipice. We have boko haram and the threat of al-queda in the north, resurging militancy in the niger-delta. Before now, it was government inaction. Now, its the complete loss of government. We can no longer trust d 'agbadas' in Abuja to get us to the promised land. We need young spirited boys from the military devoid of ethnic and religious alliances to lead this nation, truly nigerian boys of untainted discipline and unstained morals. Boys with the discipline of Buhari and the zeal and courage of Ghadaffi. Boys with a great vision for this country. Instead of civilians we supposedly 'elected' treating us this way, let it be the Military. WTF is this mindless BS? |
