I'm tempted 2 lend my opinion in this forum. CMD is not 4 jst any doctor but a CONSULTANT(SPECIALIST). The argument is uncalled for. As the head of the team, then CMD post is 4 d doctor. Coz if u think otherwise then nt only pharmacist ll b eligible Nurses, Lab scientists, Admin officers, Security personeels  ll all vie 4 d post.
Initially pharmacist said they shd b called doctorz too, nw they want 2 b CMDs. What is the fuss abt??

At least you can now see how immature and short sighted you are. The worst medical school will still parade the best graduating students from different secondary school. Doctors are composed and are trained as team leaders from day one so they don't come to a forum like this to lose their composure. They are very disciplined. Can u hear urself? Somebody willing to head a medical team already losing his patience on a forum. Ask any pharmacist or lab man wether they have ever worked with a nurse but they will tell you NO cos their path rarely cross. You don't even know their temperament yet you want to head them. Even the worst state medical school will still parade more brilliant student than the best federal pharmacy school. Get that into your dull brain

. Now I know u are more ignorant than u seem to appear. If a pharmacist specialise in cardiology what that simply means is that he specialise in drugs use in cardiology department nothing more. What do pharmacist know about cardiology? Or oncology. For your information most doctors know more about the pharmacology of drugs than an average pharmacist. Doctors may not know about the chemistry of drugs but once it comes to pharmacology they are better trained. U and I know I am saying the truth especially when you listen to the rubbish many pharmacist come to present in clinical meetings as drug presentation. of course anybody in ward coat can't be a doctor and that is what we are trying to say. It is you paramedics that pretend to be what u are not. A doctor will not pretend to be a pharmacist and will not struggle to head the nursing section. So stay where your profession put u and kip quiet

Must a jugde be a lawyer? Why can't other paralegal professionals aspire to become a jugde. Why can't the accountant general or auditor general be a medical doctor. How can a pharmacist be a medical director? We are talking about people that don't even attend ward round in a hospital? What do they know about laboratory? To put it correctly, doctors are the only health professionals that do postings in every medical field while in school. From pharmacology to pathology to microbiology to medicine to surgery. There is no aspect of medicine that doctors didn't touch. A doctor can effectively man the laboratory wtot any problem infact doctors can specialise in lab medicine. They can specialise in pharmacology. They know a bit about every aspect of hospital section if not more especially wen they specialise in that field. Worldwide a doctor is the head of any medical team according to WHO. Even if the doctor qualified yesterday and the pharmacist has been qualified for donkey years if they find themselves together as a team in any medical mission the doctor is the head. Even NYSC camp doctors head the clinic. If you want to head medical team go to medical school and stop looking for cheap blackmail on a forum

You just answered the question. It is not Chief Pharmaceutical Director, or Chief Nursing Director, or Chief Lab Director.

It is Chief Medical Director. So does your proposal still hold water?
