If the faculty saves Madonna again, then the show has lost it's essence angry. Mike and Tomiwa are obviously better than Madonna.

As per David, he doesn't deserve to be on probation today, I pray he survives it.

@ SeanT21: There are some countries where you may not be able to work. What if he's transfered to a place like Saudi Arabia? What I'm driving at is that we should never say "never". Some situations don't allow things to go our way. It's just important you have the proper mind set and make the best of every situation. It doesn't make you less of a woman.

There are other ways of making urself valuable rather than a paid employment. Does anyone have ideas on how u can make sense of your time and of yourself if you happen to be in this kind of situation?
TV/Movies / Re: Project Fame West Africa Season 2 by chosen09: 11:12am On Sep 01, 2009
I'd say Tomiwa, Madonna, Mike and Sameta. I'd love Nicholas to be there but I kinda fear he may not make it.
TV/Movies / Re: Project Fame West Africa Season 2 by chosen09: 12:06pm On Aug 31, 2009
Yea, I like Nicholas too. He sings passionately. I hope he makes the top 4.

Can someone predict who will be in the top 4? I guess this will spice up this thread a lil bit.
Family / Re: Ladies: Can You Be A Housewife? by chosen09: 9:48am On Aug 31, 2009
What if you find yourself in this position: Yourself and your husband have good jobs, you have two kids and being a full-time housewife has never been a consideration. Then your husband gets transfered to a country where you cannot work. His pay is good (like 4 times yours) and the company will be responsible for the kids' education. Would you stay back with the kids so you can keep your job or go with your husband?
Family / Full-time Mothering : It's Pros And Cons by chosen09: 9:31am On Aug 31, 2009
Is being a full-time mother still in vogue? What are the pros and cons in our present day?

If you find yourself in that position (not necessarily your decision), what would you do to make it worth the while?
TV/Movies / Re: Project Fame West Africa Season 2 by chosen09: 9:24am On Aug 31, 2009
Yea, Mike did very well yesterday. However, this his swagger thingy pisses me off. I may be wrong but I perceive he's too full of himself.

I thought Madonna did well too. I'm surprised she's on probation. I'm sure she'll survive it though. The faculty will most def. save her.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Mobil Calling For 2nd Stage Interviews by chosen09: 6:12pm On Jul 23, 2009
I can imagine how u feel. Let's hope the wait will soon be over. It's more annoying that naija interviews are being postponed again. Thot it'd all end this week. Let's hope they speed up the process and get in touch next week. Hope Temi gives you good info too.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Mobil Calling For 2nd Stage Interviews by chosen09: 3:22pm On Jul 23, 2009
@Impish, No I didn't apply this year but a very close friend of mine did so I've been following up closely. The latest info I have is that they'll get in touch with you guys as soon as they are done with naija interviews. I assume that should be anytime from next week. You may want to speak with Temi Edu to verify. I guess she'll have the latest info. You have her number, right?

@klovesh, Monday is not so far away. Wish u the best.

@temmytak, let's know if urs holds tomorrow or was postponed as well.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Mobil Calling For 2nd Stage Interviews by chosen09: 1:12pm On Jul 22, 2009
Hi temmytak,

Congrats too and all the best on Friday. What position did you apply for?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Mobil Calling For 2nd Stage Interviews by chosen09: 8:13pm On Jul 20, 2009
Congrats klovesh. There's no big deal at this stage. You'll be asked questions similar to what u were asked at the previous stage when you met the panel of 3. Just remind yourself of the answers you gave and go relaxed. Getting to this stage simply means u are qualified for the job, You just need to prove it to a more senior person.

Congrats once again and all the best on Wednesday.

@ Dr Ferlie,

I don't have any updates. Does anyone know the status of things?

Coldwater,

Any updates from your end? Have u been contacted after your last interview? Do u know of any drilling engineer that has been called?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Mobil Interview by chosen09: 10:24pm On Jun 19, 2009
Coldwater,

Haba now! How everybody go fail? sad sad

But for real, what's happening? I'm yet to hear of any experienced person that has been called, how much more drilling! Are they still calling people?

And how far with u? When are u expecting to hear from them?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Mobil Interview by chosen09: 11:58am On Jun 19, 2009
