I av been there, though it was my dad.

You're intelligent enough, I see that you av already prepare your mind for the future.

Oga go get your voters card and let's vote those jackals out of power. I don't care who you vote for but make it count.

Saying you don't care is like saying you don't care about your descendants/future generation. If you are done acquiring wealth for them in a country that business hardly thrives their is a high possibility your wealth goes down the drain after years after your demise.

So get your voters card, shun tribal and religious sentiment and do your own part (vote right).
Of course, I will definitely use my voters card. Thanks I understand your point.

What you are saying is just like saying; "you don't care if Lucifer rules the world. As long as he rules well."
Please listen to yourself and reflect on this deeply before you respond to my comment.
I don't really care how u interpret it anyway
FamilyAt Last, My Mum Remarries After Six Years Of Widowhood by Chram(op):
https://www.nairaland.com/8446546/mum-wants-remarry-six-years

Sequel to the above post which I made here a few days ago, I'll like to inform this noble platform that my mum has at last, remarried. The rites were carried out yesterday. She remarries as a second wife of her new husband.

My earlier post generated a lot of controversies. I was misconstrued, misunderstood and my post misrepresented and taken out of context.
It is always easier to berate people when you're not the one directly involved in a matter. I'm not sure anyone, especially a male child, would be happy seeing his mum remarrying to another man. But who am I ?
I can't question God. I can't ask God why my dad had to die at such a young age leaving nothing to us to live on. Not even a house. I hear no illwill or animosity towards my beloved mum, as it wasn't her fault that she lost her husband six years ago.
Though the marriage is going to truncate the bond and relationship between her and my siblings but no problem. It is well. I will also try to make myself happy. Going forward, I'll now have to focus on my younger siblings and myself so we can strive hard to better our lives . I'm now their father and I hope God will see me through this journey. Life's challenges are almost always inescapable and inevitable. May God grant us the ability to withstand the storms of life.
I wish her all the best in her new abode.

The only positive thing about the archaic and barbaric tradition is that, I can decide to take my mum back whenever I want. That is, after discussing with my mum, and she's ready to quit the Marriage, I can consult my father's people and inform them, then, my mother's family will return the dowry to my stepfather. Afterwards, I and my father's people would carry out the necessary rituals and finally bring my mum back to my father's house.
At the moment, I can't interfere in anything that happens in her new husband's house. For instance, if there's a misunderstanding between them, I can't wade in to settle the duo. Doing so would make my late father's ghost to haunt me. Any issue that can't be resolved between them should be taken to my maternal grandfather and family.
I can't visit and sleepover or eat there.

"You don't care who becomes president but all you want, pray and hope for, is a good man who can transform the country." Omo! Una confuse for this platform.

I always say it thet you team "I don't have a candidate" are as worse APC E-warriors. I'm just glad that whatever nonsense get into power we all suffer it together. No one is exempted. Keep playing neutral while debt and suffering get piled up for your f u t u r e g-e-n-e-r-a-tion.
Oga what are u even saying?
You're not making sense at all.
What's wrong in my comment, or u just want to talk?
Ok, tell me who u think is the best fit?
I've just said I don't care who becomes the president as long as he governs well, I'm ok. Is it too difficult for u to understand?

I don't care who becomes the president, all I just want, pray and hope for, is a good man who can transform the country. People are actually suffering but nobody cares.
Some of us work morning afternoon and night to help our younger siblings, we don't have who to run to in times of need. But we are yet to make any meaningful headway in life

But why did you read the message and ignored it?
You should have preferably replied that you didn't have.
It's not good to read people's messages and not respond; unfortunately, a lot of people do it.
Its always easy for some of you to give advice when you're not the one directly involved. I hope u won't be angry when a family member does same to you. You think it's everyone that finds it easy to tell someone that they don't have funds?

Reading your post I understand that you're a very good person. Anyway don't help anyone especially long-distance relative for more than two times consecutively. At least show them theirs a time of Yes and theirs a time of No, and don't fear the outcome. They would abuse you even if you helped them, which is what you're receiving now... Just continue with your life.

What he did was emotional blackmail trying to set you up so that he will be constantly demanding from you.

If you want to truely know who he is, reciprocate the same By showing that this time you're in need just like how he asks you and see his reaction, if he help you, he's a good person if he's not he's definitely not worth helping.....
But what exactly is this life turning into?
Does it mean that if I don't have money to help, we can't be brothers again?
Is it now all about money?
This is someone that has never sent me a penny before. Is not like I have and I am withholding it from him. I'm really ashamed on his behalf honestly. He's shown his true self and now I know how to relate with him going forward

I'm really very angry right now.

What offence did I commit here?
FamilyWhy Are Some Family Members So Ungrateful? (screenshots) by Chram(op):
I don't know if bringing this here is a wise decision or not, but I've been left very angry about this.

This is a cousin whom we haven't spoken on the phone or seen for 9 solid years. Once in a blue moon, we chat briefly on Facebook. This guy is two years plus older than me.

Look at the date I sent him money. He reached out to me and sought for help of 10k but I wasn't having up to that amount, and I pleaded with him to accept 5k from me and that when situations improve, I'll do better than that. He's a student just like me, has both parents alive and they give him enough money to sch. I mean enough. He likes to live above his means and also tries to make people think he's very rich even when it is not true. Since childhood till date, he has never worked anywhere and received a salary or wages. He solely lives off people.
His last demand was that I send him urgent 2k. I didn't have at the time and even till now, I still don't have. I'm the type that doesn't complain even when I'm dying cos I don't even have anybody to complain to. Whereas, my cousin has a lot of people to cry to. I've been the one responsible to myself without any help. At the time I sent him 5k, I only had 2k left on me without any hope. But for the sake of brotherliness, I had to give it out. The next day day, I even sent him 2G of data when he requested. After making the next demand and I couldnt respond, this guy blocked me. I just noticed it this morning and I'm still shocked.
Is this how the life is?
I don't even know what to say, but it's well.
Someone that doesn't know what I'm battling here.

Yeye.
What’s the point of a new ICC.
Can’t we just maintained the old conference centre.
Everybody knows we’re a poor country.
Can’t we just spend all this money on Agriculture.
Same as we need to sell 140 cars off Mr presidents over 180 cars convoy, and spend it on agriculture.
People are really starving.
But this yeye politicians don’t care.
The so called president commissioning a 30KM road off a 700KM.

I've never in my life been to the airport or boarded a flight. Though my late dad worked with the defunct ADC Airlines many years ago.
I wish someone can take me to the airport for the first time and put me on the plane
