You can't compare inverter fridge/ freezer with normal ones.
The inverter ones are better in an environment where you have constant light. Few hours without light will still give the right retention. But if it gets prolonged without light, it's dangerous as you will get spoilt items. A normal freezer might remain frozen and last for 48-72hours without light. While inverter without light is likely to be within 24 hours

I have an upright LG fright freezer for more than three years and I have never had any issue with. It works with the least power voltage

I also have Thermocool Inverter deep freezer. No problem at all. Before buying it, I was trashing food in the freezer. I had to buy the inverter freezer out of frustration.
