dru23: 1. Switching from semi Full synthetic to full synthetic is not a bad thing. There is no harm when doing so, as matter of fact you did no wrong.....
2. The source of ur engine oil matters . There is a lot of fake engine and adulterated oil in the market. For my uber cars when I used Mobil 1 Extended Performance I change oil every 10k miles and than now am using Super tech advance and change every 10k miles with no issues at all.
3. The humming sound could be from anything. But just to eliminate that you can change the oil and than observe the sound afterwards .
The maintenances light that is blinking might not have been reset at the start of the oil change. For example for my personal car 2011 Infiniti G25x . I set up maintenance light to pop up every 7k miles. Once it reaches 7k miles the light shows. I think yours was not reset properly .... Change the oil and see if u still hear the humming sound... Give us a feedback once done. And remember to always buy your engine oil from a reliable source. This will help you easily eliminate issues down the line
OK Boss. But I was thinking of going back to the semi synthetic since it is now available, is that advisable?
I used mobile 1 5w-30 instead of the semi synthetic mobile super 2000 I was using in July for my car(Toyota Camry 2005 v6), and was told I could run it for 6Months or 6k Miles before another change. I am on 4k+ miles now, but noticed since yday the maintenance required sign blinks for a few seconds everytime I start the car now. Does this mean I should go service again? If yes, should I stick with mobile 1 now or return to semi synthetic oil?
Also, I started hearing a humming sound from same yesterday. The used to very quiet when steaming but since yesterday there is this hum and ita kinda loud... What should I do?
@Dru23 @GAZZUZZ @9icetoo and my other Ogas please recommend a line of action I could take... Thanks
GAZZUZZ: A used radiator is a used radiator. Radiators do not last forever, they become old and the plastic covering becomes brittle and it cracks then breaks.
If you want to give advise on this thread , do not use Tokumbor parts gotten from the junkyard .
A brand new radiator (China double cell) will outlive what you have there.
Wow... Now I am more concerned. I was initially worried about the double cell matter, worried that it may have an impact on the car system, hence why I sort advice from my Ogas @Dru23 @GAZZUZZ and other Chairmen in the house At this point I am kinda speechless. So Tokunbor or New double Cell?
dru23: Prediluted 50/50 coolant. This is already mix with water from the manufacture. This is ready to use right away. I recommend this alot to my customers....
Concentrated Coolant..... You will need to mix it with water yourself. You have to use distill water. Who has the time to be looking for distill water.. And u have to make sure u get it right... Personally I don't have that time, I just want to buy coolant and put it into the radiator . I don't want to be worrying if I got the right mix or not
I haven't seen this coolant in Port Harcourt, been to a number of shops & have only seen one product named RADCO and that of Total.
dru23: Your car didn't come with "double cell" radiator . it came with the original radiator ..
Why in God's name u want to put something that was not from the manufacture is beyond my comprehensive thinking..
Kindly buy a tokunbo radiator and use original coolant. And you should fine. Don't let mechanics tell you that u need double cell radiator because of our weather bullshit .... You have USA states like Las Vegas Texas, Arizona , Florida that have same weather conditions as Nigeria.....
Are u now telling me that car manufacture makes cars for hot regions and ones for cold region... Smh
Below is a 2010 camry radiator I bought for customer . He was facing similar issues like u
Do I use coolant with water or just coolant alone?
Hello everyone, my car(Toyota Camry 2005 v6) radiator started leaking recently. I took it for repair but it didn't solve it, I was told to get a double cell radiator since the one currently there is a single cell.. What do you guys think?

I had to order this phone four times before I could get my hands on it. Is it worth all that stress? The short answer is yes. This is the best Android flagship killer of 2021 and there is so much more to discuss about it.
120Hz screen Snapdragon 870 processor Stereo speakers AMOLED screen and lot's more.

itsUmohEtido: I ordered a phone and a week later they hadn't shipped it, when I asked why, they said the color wasn't in stock and asked if they could change it (The color was available at the time of order by the way), (In my head I'm like "haba, one whole week past and you didn't care to inform me of this" ), anyway, I accepted the new color on Saturday last week 09/25/2021 and tracking still shows "Pending shipping by the seller" although I got a mail since Saturday saying it's ben shipped, the site clearly shows otherwise.
It normally takes a few after shipping before it reflects. How did you make payment, split or virtual card?
kcee247: I used a virtual dollar card from Barter by flutter ware. But that wasn't recently, the rate is insane now. But it works fine.
OK, Thanks.. Barter price & Parallel market are just crazy. Having a dollar master card is not helped by the fact that one has to source dollars from parallel market... The people running the economy are pure jokers... Lol
sureteeboy: Try it first. When I used UBA, it asked me to appeal. I switched to Zenith, it still asked me to appeal. Then I switched to GT and it worked
My People with the current rate of Mobil oil, please what oil can I use to service my car. I drive a camry 2005 v6. Its stated on the engine to use 5w30. I was using a semi synthetic which just about 12-16k. Please I need recommendations as 5w30 of Mobil 1 is 33k
I had this challenge in March, as it turned out, I learnt the oil I bought for servicing was adulterated and I haven't driven more than 2k miles. I had to change my oil.
Good Morning Guys, I was asked to consider changing my oil from Mobil 5w-30 Super 2000 to Mobil XHP. The reason is mainly because its kind of difficult getting the 5w-30 here. It isn't readily available probably due to high demand or just scarcity of some reason. What do you guys think? Is there another recommendation I could consider? I use a Toyota Camry 2005 v6 Car. Thanks for your suggestion.
