I am surprised you didn't even throw the name Nwakali at him as a strong possible for that role in the near future based on his very strong recent showings as CM for Alcocorn.
I just hope Huesca survives the drop and Nwakali rejoins them in the La liga, then, I will be taking another good look at him for that position.

the only European club that hv made contact with his management team for now is ac Milan but nothing tangible yet. Other offers re from China and the UAE which he rejected
Lyon has made contact. In fact, he was supposed to join Lyon in the winter but his camp (management team) had to call it off, as they preferred a move in the summer to moving midway into the season

lack of an enforcer is the biggest problem we have currently in the present super eagles team. Aribo have not really done that job well even of late I will even see him deployed as a 10 because of his eye for goal and dribling ability

If can lay our hands on an energic enforcer as ac Milan Kessie or bennacer we are good to good

Even the incoming ejaria to me he is featherweight for the rigors of that position

I just can't wait for one to erupt from no where
You sabi ball, but if we had a better coach to tinker the team, we could make good use of our strength(forward) to achieve good results. No one has it all, after all

Would you say that Ghana that almost reached semifinal in 2010 had so much depth? It's the mentality of the team. The Ghanaian team is the team that won u20 that year and yet we're not called young team as our coach would.
We are so poor in the midfield to achieve that fit as Ghana did in 2010. If we had a power playing enforcer like Bennacer to partner Ndidi, with a good AM, then we can be looking at pushing teams. We have the forwards but our midfield and defense are bad

you are right but what about the Ajax kid kudus? Yet to see him play buh i learnt he is a promising young star
Kudus is a good AM but he has spent more time on the treatment table than in the pitch to be considered ahead of Iwobi in the AM position.

i mentioned Egypt and Tunisia because when it comes to African they re power houses that no team should undermine

The Tunisian hv less quality player wise but boast of compactness and understanding which hv made them one of the most underrated but feared teams from the northern part of the continent while half of the Egyptian team is from AL ahly which gives them the nod ahead of others with regards to understanding and bond
Not arguing the fact that they seem to have compact teams, reason I said you made good points regardless, but below is the point or notion I wanted to correct.

The above mention teams hv good players littered all over top leagues in Europe like us so we shouldn't expect such achievement to be an easy one as many here think

To me even winning the afcon won't be an easy feat. We have to overcome the likes of Senegal, civ, ghana, Egypt, Algeria, morocco, Tunisia and even Mali to achieve that

The above mention teams hv good players littered all over top leagues in Europe like us so we shouldn't expect such achievement to be an easy one as many here think

We need to set pride and past glory aside and embrace facts n reality

I am not saying we aren't good enough to win the trophy next year but it won't be a walk in the park
No Emmy you ain't totally right though you made good points. Egypt, Ghana and Tunisia do not have good players scattered all over Europe, but you were right to have mentioned Ghana as a threat because they are our perennial rivals.

How would you rate the genesis of these two eras?

First Era: - Yakubu, Martins, Utaka, Osaze and Ike Uche

Second Era: - Osimhen, Iheanacho, Onuachu, Simmy and Sadiq

Notabien: Judgement should be based on how the two eras kicked off, put it into considerations the different abilities of each players in the respective eras in the eagles, and the quality of clubs they started off with

A shame they didn't give it as an assist. But that's an assist in my book. Onuachu is obviously one of the most influential players in all of Genk's attacking plays this season. Seen enough of his other games and then some others via highlights to reach this conclusion.
Dude is so influential

I strongly believe we have a superior pool of talent in Nigeria than England. Otherwise , give me an example of an English born Nigerian that has ever wowed you in green white green. These boys need us more than we need them.
My brother, were you here last Month when I dropped this post below, and these people came for my head? grin

ChrisKels:
I don't get moved by these foreign born or bred players no more, none of them has ever turned out an exceptional player, for either Nigeria or any of their adopted countries. Our best players have always been the ones we produced down here in Nigeria.

Funny enough, the only exceptions to me have been the ones we turned down - Alaba and Emmanuel Adebayo, and none of those who turned us down for their adopted European countries have come an inch close to these two.

I thought that first goal was an Onuachu assist. We tend to overlook his assists and involvements in other goals scored by his team mates, for the simple reason that he scores with reckless abandon grin

I remember when it was fashionable to berate Iheanacho and predict his doom when any new player features for Leicester. Slimani, Okazaki, even Demaray Gray were supposed to send him packing from Leicester. Someone was saying even championship teams would not want him because he's a failure when he wasn't getting game time but was making excuses for an English born player who was in the same predicament.

The guy is now in better form than almighty Vardy at the moment. Omo, Never write anyone off o.

It's about time bardy takes a break, dudes been scoring blanks in 9 games..no goals

Maybe it's time to try Nacho/Madison. But will Rogers have the balls?

Oshimen really has eagles eye on goal and I love the way he shoots at goal at every opportunity.. maybe he has leanrt to be selfish too.. maybe selfishness is what gattuso teaches them in training.

Napoli will go for champions League same as Leicester.
Our strikers are repping us in Europe.. simmy and olayinka not forgetting onauchu..

When is the next international break please huh.. can't wait no more embarassed
Vardy's lack of goals is the reason Nacho is enjoying this great run of form. If you break the combo to push Nacho upfront, you would end up making Nacho suffer another drought. Madison and Nacho is a no no, I would rather play Baines in Vardy's place while Nacho maintains his SS position

Yes, he did. Remember that he inherited a dead team that failed to qualify for 2 successive nations cup and surprisingly defeated Algeria (1) at that time cameroun (defending champion) to qualify for world cup. Although, the man is now stagnant but let's give credit for him rejuvenating us in 2016. Oliseh and keshi (latter stages) failed with the same exact players that Rohr excelled with in 2016
Rejuvenation is what Tuchel is doing now, producing results with same team Lampard failed with. Rohr is rather lucky to have these quality players springing up in his era, he wouldn't have done nothing with the same quality of players Keshi and Oliseh had

Omo let's give that coach some credit he tried in rejuvenating a dead Se from the hands of oliseh and big boss (rip) he just needs a good tactician next to him
He didn't rejuvenate anything, he wouldn't rejuvenate nothing if these players didn't spring up. His predecessors never had these array of stars to choose from, yet Keshi performed even with a limited workforce
