TheSuperNerd: There is a fourth lad.
So it is Uzoho, Okoye, Osigwe and Yakubu even before Alampasu. All are in higher leagues compared to Dele Alampasu but I will keep Dele alongside Adeleye of Katamon as the other outside prospects.
You don't seem to follow him (Yakubu) very well I guess. Matthew Yakubu has kept two clean sheets in the Slovakian top flight for SKF Sered in their last two games. Another interesting prospect. Not the finished article yet but one to keep an eye on too. I know Mathew, thing is that I am not just cool with his height, that's not to take anything away from his abilities as a goal keeper. About the fourth person outside the three I listed earlier, I would take Adeleye of Katamon. Alampasu and Mathew are my outside prospects. |

Considering the location, options, condition of the car and its mileage, you can get it within 800 to 1m.
About location, I prefer buying from Northern Nigeria, cars are cheaper there and you can get really healthy(first grade) cars. Cotonou is also a good place to get quality second hand cars but for the restrictions. |

TheSuperNerd: Now I just found out from a quick read of the past few pages that you banned Joebie. Now, as you know... I am not in league with him one bit but you must understand that he is one of our top contributors in here. You must understand that I do this just b'cos of people that come in here to read news, see stats, and more as regards Naija Players. There are many people who read this thread b'cos of me, and there are others who read this thread b'cos of TheGoodjoe or Safarigirl or even BascoVanVeli or even Icon4s... And I assure you there several others who read this thread b'cos of Joebie.
TheSuperNerd post=92930464: Even that Andrew Ban just weak me. I don't even know how to plead yet.
One of our fun guys in here. Dude this isn't necessary, the rule bends for no one, and this should serve as a deterrent to others. We need to bring back sanity to this thread, we have deviated way too much |

komekn: When I first went to high school in Warri, l couldn't understand pidgin English. I couldn't understand, Igbo or Uhrobo.
But there is learning and adaptation by association a big % is even unconscious, but it becomes ingrained and second nature by continous practice.
I learned these Nigerian languages by participation, association, integration, and continous engagement.
In Nsukka if you did not sprwak Igbo and you want to buy something the price automatically goes right up.
I have a white Caucasian friend he is a Financial adviser from Liverpool. He went to take elocution lessons because his accent created a perception of ineptitude.
When you arrive in the UK and you are working 12 hours shifts in a hospital and over time. You spend much more time with your colleagues on the hospital, than with anybody else it's inevitable that you change.
Many years ago l was on a USAF base in Germany. After a while my accent changed to an American one just by continous association.
It's not Faking it's unconscious and conscious adaptation by continous association.
But if for instance you are in the UK and all your engagements are with your own people, kparakpo. You remain unchanged and many will swear you have never been to Onitsha talk less of London.
Go stay village for one year in isolation after some time you would sound like a village man and at this stage you will have village mentality.
That's why we say some people passed through the university but the university did not pass through them.
I think you are one of them. Then what gave you the impression that Idenna wasn't in the USA but Uganda, or that he hasn't interacted more with the native Americans since he went to the States? |

komekn: You want to prove WHAT on faceless forum to give yourself credence to what purpose recognition.
You are indeed suffering with low self esteem.
I don't know but find your claim to be very very doubtful.
Because people who are educatrd in Nigeria have considerably better appreciation of the socio-economic and cultural dynamics in the USA than you do. You may reflect that common phenomenon where a person lives in a country but lives socially excluded. That is too say you may work in the USA but you don't live there.
It seems paradoxical but let me explain. There are people who work and reside in the USA just like the UK. But don't engage with society as a result you have Somalians who have resided in the UK for 30 years. But cannot speak any English. So they are resident but don't live here, because to live means to be full engaged with society not excluded.
Their entire social interaction are with a limited set of people, there own people. That's why you find some Nigerians that have lived here for 20 years plus but still cannot speak English properly. Or are unable to integrate and or engage with English society in it fullness. Why because they associate only with their own people.
My cousin left Nigeria from a university teaching Hospital in South South about 6 months ago. He now works in a hospital where his entire socio engagement and interaction are with White English people in the North of England.
In that small time his accent and diction have changed his mannerisms too. His appreciation of socio culture dynamics as well. You would think he has been here for over 15 years.
You however are the opposite. You want him to start faking accent like ur so called cousin bro, just to feel among? No, he is a real dude and he doesn't need to fake who he is. Deal with that |
