edi287: Getting Saka and Ademola is some consolation I guess. Maybe Ademola is some consolation, but definitely not Saka. Saka is more naturally gifted than both Fikayo and Tammy. If we get Saka, England would be sad that they went for the wrong guys in Tammy and Fikayo. |

Christophe Galtier the coach of Lille is worried that his team is getting too relaxed because they feel they have an Osimhen. He fears his side are becoming too reliant on the shoulders of a youngster who is fast becoming their talisman.
Following the weekend’s draw with Nice, he grumbled: “We were too gentle offensively. We’ve not played to win. It’s as if the players are resting on Victor.”
Did u know this boy had no preseason, neither with Lille nor with Charleroi, and he didn't even play up to 50mins throughout his stay with the Eagles in the Afcon?

edi287: They should've approached him when he was at Derby. They did, buh the guy chose Euro U21 tourney with England, instead. He was never interested in playing for Nigeria, in fact, if he had failed with his English dreams, his next stop would av been Canada not Nigeria. So folks in here should stop crying. In other news, here is something to cheer about; From the little I av gathered, Bukayo Saka is excited with the prospect of playing for Nigeria bkus he, just like his father, is a die hard super eagles fan. He grew up watching more Nigerian games at home than England games. His father brought him up purely the Nigerian way, hence he doesn't consider himself English, but Nigerian. In fact, his paper work would be through same time as Ademola's. |

komekn: He plays in very well covered league although quite lowly in the context of Europe and a lower level team in the Eredivisie.
If he is as good as you say he is he playing in the Eredivisie.
He claims to be 21 and you are comparing him that just turned 18 last month that's causing waves and playing in the EPL for a top team.
One word for you DELUSIONAL. Put the word "overly" before that "DELUSIONAL". When I saw that post, I decided to check the moniker and I wasn't surprised. The post was as puerile as what we see people post on football threads on the front page of this forum. |

forgiveness: Quote from his Aunty, the current deputy governor of Osun state
''It would be my dream to see him play for the Super Eagles someday. We are so proud of him, so also is his parents,'' Titi Laoye-Tomori told saharareporterssport.com.
''He is a true professional and also very humble. He works so hard for his team and no wonder he has won so much at such young age.
''I was with his dad recently and we spoke a lot about his chances of coming to play for Nigeria soon. Right now, he is focusing on his club career and we hope he will come represent his fatherland soon.''
Quote from the horses mouth.
“I thought about playing for England, Canada and Nigeria'' |

komekn: Yes he is, but you can use dogged determination against a much stronger opponent who underestimates you.
The hungry man wins Osimhen is starving in this game. He scores two more goals and he is in the EPL by January. Tammy has looked the lighter one so far, falling here and there and losing physical battles, seems he lacks that doggedness and determination innate in Osimhen. What do u think? |

komekn: Bigoted tribalist.
What makes you Nigerian is not your place or birth or the football team you play for. It is much more than that.
It's like saying because Davido was not born in Nigeria he isn't Nigerian. Osaze and co were not born in Nigeria, but we consider them Nigerians for same reason we do not consider Tammy a Nigerian , u dig? |

chrisooblog: Service for Victor osimhen hasn't been so great but credit to my boy he took his chance when it counted if the supply improves he could be in for more goals in this game but to be fair Chelsea have been dominant Put Tammy in this Lille team, and he won't register a single shot on target, but place Osimhen in this Chelsea team where chances are created with aplomb, then u harvest goals like tomatoes |

komekn: The battle is not between Tega and Victor.
But Victor against quality defenders possibly for the first time in his career against EPL defenders.Of which one of them has the very real possibility of playing for Nigeria. I am talking about Tomori Fikayo.
These are fast defenders who are use to playing against fast strikers but also very physical and skillful strikers.
Osimhen will have to use more than raw pace against Zuma and Tomori. He will need to find some skill and trickery. He will need to get some service and his finishing will have to be on point.
I can't see them beating Chelsea although football can be unpredictable.
On the other hand Lille defenders willl find in Tega Abrahams everything they don't want to face Pace, trickery and skill, Aerial dominance and finishing with a good degree of physicallity.
Who wins IMO Chelsea. Hello! |

Everybody in my hood is talking about Ayo Saka, asking me (Mr Super Eagles) whether he was a Nigerian and why he isn't playing for Nigeria yet. Funny enough, most of them ain't really interested in anything Eagles but were blown away by his display yesterday. I wish we would get that guy. One said he has the qualities Madrid and Barca look out for, in players
I was with Lemar Obika's younger brother, earlier today and he told me some interesting things about the Saka family in London. |
