When I watched his media chat back at '16, I screamed; What have we gotten ourselves into Naija?

Just see how he embarrassed himself and the entire nation when asked a question on the African economy and he went on about how Nigerian youths are only interested in receiving handouts and not interested in education.

What a disaster that man is to this already feeble nation.
Hahahahaha Sai Baba!!!! When I remember say na middle belt and West carry this whole buhari thing for head last 4 years chai grin grin

Bro we are in this together though the only difference is that nothing concern me concern election or politics as long as me and my family are making our dough and living good, naija can rot for all I care. I kno this is a bad mindset but I just cant help it. For once, since I was born, I avnt casted a vote. I only get voter card just in case I have any bank issue to sort out or anything similar. On election days, I get myself a fresh keg of palm wine chilled in my deep freeze onto supreme comradic jolly as AB Nzeako wey I be then, put an interesting series like Prison Break, 24, Merlin et al or a cracking movie like Puvo mario's the Godfather...then begin dey flex myself all by myself in my house with a better kegite gyrations from my favorite ilyas and songitos like AB Cowboy

Any news as regards the injury scare of Shehu. Was one of the few glad to see him back.

No one is even talking of the average age of the XI that played yesterday. looks like an u23 team to me.

Defenders average was 23yrs.

Midfield was 22yrs if I'm not mistaken.

And the attack @23yrs also.

This team needs a new gel and I sense that's what Rohr is doing thus it looks like he froze out the elders.

come 2019, if they team played like 12games before Afcon, I'm sure they would stun Africa, even with a Salah playing against them.
At a point in the match, age wise, our attacking line became 21, 21, 22, 22

Even though u made some points on his fault as a player wc I think is normal, nobody is above mistake

But concerning ydays match, let's give d credit to ighalo, scoring 3goals in a match is not an easy feat, even if it was just three times his foot touched d ball dt resulted to goals and was largely inactive, he still.deserve d credit....Football is all about goals dt lead to result. cool
I already did by saying congrats. Thing is that, I aint getting careen just that easily bkus the guy in question aint new to me

Tenkiu, many of us share same sentiment on Ighalo, but A Hatrick is one hell of a cleaner that wipes away these issues when you try to talk about them. You are only forced to remain calm.

That second goal is so classless of a supposed striker
Yea bro I understand but Ighalo already failed us where it mattered most, same way Martins and Yakubu did. We shouldn't put all our hope in Ighalo, dude blows hot and cold, he is a rope of sand, hence his effort yesterday should be taken with a pinch of salt. We deserve something better and we ought to be dreaming bigger. Ighalo just aint what we need, though, I will like him to prove me wrong

Please permit me to call you a biased, over pessimistic, closed-minded complete idiot.

Ighalo gave his sweat and toil and won a resounding hat trick and you have the temerity to post this rubbish?

Is it until Ighalo scores Fifty goals in a match that you will know he is good? Is it until he dribbles the entire eleven opposition players and scores?. Do you know the last time a player scored a hat trick in the GWG? Even Kanu Nwankwo with all his incredible talent never did that for us.

Why must you concentrate on what he didn't do well rather than on his achievements?. This shows that you are no impartial critic, you're just a CHRONIC HATER looking for who to infect with your unfounded pessimism.
It doesnt take the foresight to detect a section 8. U really are hurt by those words, but, too bad ur rants cant make me believe otherwise. I dont glorify mediocrity and I repeat, this is Rohr applying lipstick on the lips of a pig. Wait oo, were u not the one fighting safarigirl ystdy for not hailing Ighalo? wow, never knew Ighalo was that desperate that he had to hire someone so un-phlegmatic as his attorney on this fastidious thread grin grin

Nice job uv got here kid, keep it up Hahaha

Etebo is nothing but a jam body player. He must be enjoying it in the championship where jam body is the order of the day. Dude does nothing special than hold on to the ball looking for who to rumble with instead of simply passing the ball to his man, within the course, he either gets fouled or dispossessed. He is not good abeg. The way we over rate our players ehh nawa oo

I'm very impressed with the way the Kenyans have upgraded their stadium.. the pitch is world class...

That Uyo pitch was looking poor yesterday.. I'm sure its due to the recent political rallies being held there . with the election around the corner, most of d stadium pitches will have depleted when it's time to face Seychelles...
See ehh Danny, I dont know if u were here few months ago when I wrote about, Morocco, Kenya/Ethiopia, Rwanda as a possible destination for the 2019 Afcon, should Cameroun not meet up on time? Out of ignorance, ppl went berserk on reading that post because the saw Kenya and Ethiopia, man I just smh and laughed it off because it is said that my ppl perish due to ignorance. I knew a day like this would come. I follow the Kenyan league though because of Gor Mahia, and I tell u, Kenya has some beautiful stadiums with world class pitches.

congrats to Ighalo and Rohr but I still have my reservations, hence , I dont share your jubilation about Ighalos hatrick yesterday.

Penalty, potential offside, scrappy goal, see how he messed up what would have been a striker's goal from Ndidi's long ball, Kalu's low cross that would have been an easy tap in, check out his positioning from Collins's marauding run, look at his poor controls and lack of pressing sense. At a time Iwobi was the one doing the pressing while our supposed top striker was no where to be found, he didnt even care to cover up for iwobi, hence leaving a big space btwn the attack and the midfield, thoughtout my playing days I was thought that strikers draw the most fouls which help win his team some freekicks and penalties, but in Ighalo's case, dude committed more fouls than his markers. Dat long ball from Ndidi that he messed was reminiscent of what Percy Tau used to put us on a sharp knife edge in that same pitch and goal post against SA in the first match of this qualifiers

This is Rohr trying to justify his unexplained belief in Ighalo. His hattrick yesterday was just an attempt to put lipstick on a pig.

Ighalo is not the striker who will take us to the promised land. He is a fully grown striker who is still learning how to play the position at this late time in his career. Not a recipe for sustained success at the highest level. When we start playing real teams like we did in Russia, then you will find out you have been sold a bill of goods again. Believe Ighalo and Rohr at ur own peril

I dare to say the orange boys are back, interestingly with more blacks just like France. I saw them kill what is left of the moribund Loew team yesterday. Danjuma didn't look outta sorts when he came on for the rejuvenated Babel. The CD pair of captain Virgil and D'ligt is looking like the best in the world.

You are spot on,Rohr is not tech sound. I will take Iwobi any time any day in place of Etebo. Never liked his pattern of football as he holds onto the ball too much.
Exactly why I dislike that boys game. His pattern is irksome. Thats why he often gets injured. To release ball dey hard am, to raise up head see his man to give ball, for where. Abeg Etebo no be am biko

Though he still needs to work on is ball distribution.

Uzoho is the real deal. If not for that brilliant save, Libya would have levelled scores when we were a goal up, that would have really deflated our confidence, make us agitated and susceptible to unnecessary errors.

Ekong showed he is a Serie A defender

Surely its not that team of theirs that couldn't clinch an afcon ticket on home soil?
Or is it their two afcon title compared to our own 3?

And who says they are the beet in Africa? grin

See eh,u are just overworking yourself over this ivorian team.. Ivory coast has always have good players in good league.. Their being a former French colony is a big boost for their football cus their players get to play in the French league from where they can move to bigger teams.. the same applies to other francophone African nations. its no big deal.

Why don't you wait until they achieve something before bragging? I mean what's the use of having world class of above average players when you can't achieve anythinghuh
We dey talk present, u dey talk past tense. Dis team just came together and they are young. Wetin concern dem concern the shortcomings of their predecessors?
