The way you're all over Victor Moses makes me wonder how this thread would have turned if someone was this critical of Moses prior to the world cup.
Stop this sour grapes criticism and let the guy be.
But I have always been on his case even before the world cup qualifiers started in Ndola grin

Seems Vicmo retired from the SE so that he can focus on his bench duties. E no easy warming bench, he needs his full concentration on that task, no time for international football, that is only for the likes of Ronaldo and Modric who do not have the added stress of warming the bench for their clubs. grin grin

I thought it was Iheanacho the ordained golden boy of Nigerian football.

I remeber telling safarigirl that Alex Iwobi should be the golden boy of Nigeria football.

The cap fit Alex Iwobi.
I dont have any preference bro, to me, as long as u are doing good, u are my golden boy. It's iwobi today, could be Achor tomorrow, next could be Onyekuru, Kalu or even Success. Na so my matter be oo

Could have easily been 4 or 5-2
And three assists plus a goal or two for my boy, Iwobi, if only those clear cut chances were put away.

Dalung waxing lyrical after his proposed ministerial visit was turned down by fifa.

Dalung to fifa; "u dont scare us"

This guy doesnt have the interest of the nation at heart, I wonder why he hasn't been relieved of his duties or even killed for goodness sake.

William Troost-Ekong‏ @WTroostEkong

Very happy to sign for @UdineseCalcio in the @SerieA !⚫️⚪️ #ForzaUdinese #AleUdin
Congrats boy. Atleast, we have one defender playing in the Serie A, a league reputed for its defensive tactics and toughness. Udinese aint just ur average midtable Serie A club, it's an Italian giant.

It's amazing how this guy's career has progressed. He's had his ups and downs but he remained resilient and at the same time, grounded. He was phenomenal at the Olympics and unlike our other Turkish contingents, bar Omeruo, dude distinguished himself, and now, look what has come his way. I'm happy for u boy

I understand the excitement but please this is not the first time we've had defenders play in modest clubs such as those listed.

Onyekachi Apam - Nice
Joseph Enakhare-Bordeaux
Joseph Yobo-Everton
Taye Taiwo - Marseille
Chidi Ordiah-Cska Moscow
Ifeanyi Udenze/Isaac Okoronkwo- West brom
Apam, Enakhare, Okoronkwo for different reasons were no mainstays in the super eagles.

Cool this be another Rohr Effect?

The entire defence of the SE have moved to better clubs/leagues.
Ebuehi - Ado Den Haag to Benfica
Idowu - Amker Perm to Lokomotiv Moscow
Echiejile - Cercle Brugge to Monaco
Balogun - Mainz to Brighton
Ekong - Bursaspor to Udinese
Omeruo - Kasimpasa to Leganes
Aina - Hull to Torino
Awaziem - Porto or on his way back to Nantes for another loan.
We have never in the history of the SE have so many defenders playing at the top level like the current squad. Could Gernot Rohr have anything to do with it?

Special mention to Uduokhai of Wolfsburg and Akpoguma of Hoffeinhem who are still possibilities now that they have been totally over-looked by Germany.

This guy will put Awoniyi under pressure if he does not perform.
I love how that guy is pushing him so hard. Well, he was lucky to av gotten his debut goal today otherwise...I can only imagine what might have been in subsequent games, as his repp just put another one away again today.

Let the NPFL be televised like the PSL and that wouldn't be a problem.
Is it the PSL's fault that ur league is so rotten it can't hit deals to televise his games. Who would even wanna sponsor such a mess of a league where cheating and corruption is the order of the day?

Stop using television as an excuse because u should be ashamed ur league games aint in the air, in this century. Something lowly Botswana, Kenya, Zambia, Mali, Togo et al can afford
