gbosaa: ....And you felt it was appropriate to mention the name above to validate your claims about the ages? How about saying that you heard from a reliable source? How could you be even sure of the claim from the young man? How could he prove their true ages.
This thread is worse than Linda ikeji's blog. Why dont you guys focus on something else instead of gossiping about back and forth about players ages?. That was poor from me, I must admit. |

Just the way Reece oxford could not get game time at mochenglabach
Just the way ravel Morrison flopped at lazio
Why will batshuayi make it at Chelsea when he was a bench warmer ? Or na back of tv you dey watch, batshuayi that struggle for game time under conte and for your information Chelsea is a better club then Dortmund.
Check the way Spanish players tear the Epl apart.
When last did the Epl win the champions league ?
5 club from the Epl is at the last 16 and 3 could not make the semi final what a disgrace.
The last time I check Everton came last in their Europa league group they could not even beat clubs from Czech Republic Lol oboy easy |

andrew444: The 2013 U17 world cup team is young no doubt.
The youngest players we produce are the ones who deduct only 3 or 4 years from their age, take it or leave it. I was with Chigozie Obasi about 2yrs ago after his trials with Monaco. Remember he was adjudged to be the youngest of that 2013 set dye to his facial looks and small body. Remember his thunderous long range against the the UAE? After taking some pills to my dismay, we discussed about life and everything, he shocked me when he told me the true ages of each and every one of them that repped us in that 2013. Yes they were young but none was below 18 and none was above 21. |

No wonder some of these players loves to be bench warmers association because their places is guaranteed in the National team.

There is a certain Mercado from Sevilla that plays RB or RCB for Argentina, dude is very poor and seem to be a regular in Sampaoly's defense.
Chai a Vicmo would have him for dinner, even SiMoses or Onyekuru would make a mince meat from the poor man of about 31. He promises a red card and penalties when faced by a dribbler with pace. He lacks pace and a good marking sense for a full back.

Sunnypa11: The best formation for the current Super Eagles is 3-5-2! With the mentioned formation,Super Eagles held their own and looked unbreakable in the second half against a cruising English National team with some unravelled national treasures. Francis Uzoho is a done deal for goal while expectedly, William Troost-Ekong and Leon Balogun are important to the defence line. Joining the 'Oyinbo wall’ is a midfielder in John Ogu,It is very important to note that most of the defenders are right-footed including Kenneth Omeruo and the Israeli based Ogu is also as tall as Croatia striker,Mario Manzukic who will be an aerial threat all night. Balogun will defend from a comfortable right side of the defence alongside a mobile Tyronne Ebuehi just as Ogu who is very calm in possession will be giving Bryan Idowu a needed assurance from the left. Wilfred Ndidi will be winning the tackles as Oghenekaro Etebo create an industrious midfield zone to neutralize Luca Modric and Ivan Rakitic. John Obi Mikel big game stability and experience put him in an advanced and familiar position with lesser defensive duty in yet an important position. And there comes the mysterious dynamites leading the line together. Kelechi Iheanacho and Alexander Iwobi both ruined Argentina together in an unimaginable manner in the most fruitful Forty-Five minute of Coach Gernot Rohr. On display in Russia last November was pace, precised attacking passes, chemistry and top-class decision making. The aging backline of Croatia could suffer same damage and it must be noted that Iheanacho always enjoy a companionship upfront while Iwobi is magical in freedom and the formation gives the Arsenal youngster the popular suggested advance role infront of Mikel. SWITCH : John Ogu and Kelechi Iheanacho could both be replaced with Victor Moses and Odion Ighalo to switch back to 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 as the situation may require.
http://www.nigfooty.com/2018/06/super-eagles-most-underrated-mysterious.html If u must play Ogu as a left Centre back, then replace Idowu with Vicmo. Even if we played Omeruo as one of the three Centre backs so that Ogu takes up Etebo's place in the midfield, still replace idowu with Vicmo |

Please after this world cup, Rohr should make sure the back ups to Uzoho are young goalkeepers because it is illogical having an older keeper who cant displace a young Uzoho as a back up.
I want to see the likes of Okoye and Alampasu coming in as back ups to Uzoho. We should be futuristic. |

komekn: Iwobi is an exceptional case, we all should know, his Uncle is JJay he was in the national team before he even played one senior game for Arsenal.
Victor Moses was born in Nigeria and actually played for a local academy in Benin City before coming to England.
Consider the way Sone Aluko, Danny Shittu and Hope Akpan ( actually dislocated his shoulder playing for Nigeria) were all treated. You then have past, present and continuous form.
It's not everything that they will say in public but I can. And behind it all was the issue if inducement. So iwobi who is arguably our best player would have been dropped if okocha wasn't there? Who would he have been dropped for? Ur scrotal sac (Akpa amu gi)? So iwobi came to the team because his uncle is okocha? What happened to the catch them young mantra? Dude u are mentally deranged. So the other players, who are their uncles? U always sound so f©©lish. Oh even Moses made it because he once played in an Academy in Benin City before leaving for the UK? God! KK555: The recent craze for emerging foreign based talents with Nigeria/African roots will impact negatively on local talents and football development in Nigeria and Africa. I hope the football authorities prioritise football development, local talent search and the development of these kids. It will inevitably spell doom to sports development in general focusing attention on foreign based talents when less could be spent developing and harnessing the potentials back home.
Without serious investment and committed development in the league, Nigeria league especially will be seen as a platform for players to escape to Europe even Sudan, South Africa and North Africa. You will see a player blossom one season and the next season, he will disappear and waste in one obscure league abroad.
It is embarrassing watching people argue about the root and parentage of certain players. It was even more shameful watching fans booing Dele Alli over his choice and decision to play for England. What happened to your league? What happened to your primary school, secondary school sports competitions and the talents that emerge from there? What happened to the academies?
Countries invest significant amount of finance developing facilities, clubs invest in these kids teaching them the rudiments of the game by providing them with well qualified coaches, provision of standard football pitches and gears only for the likes of Pinnick and co to circle and hover around them like scavengers once the investments start yielding fruits. With all the kids coming out, be aware that not all of them will have what it takes to excel and be successful playing for countries like Nigerian national team, its the bitter reality. There will be the Ainas, Aluko who would not be selected in the final event. Being born abroad should not be a guarantee for invitation to the national team.
I watched and witnessed the Athletic federation of Nigeria invite and have American citizens naturalised and represent Nigeria in the Edinburgh common wealth games and it filled me with bitterness. Some of these athletes esp the sprinters struggle to run 100m in 10.10secs. All of them performed woefully in the US qualifications but Nigeria found them worthy to wear the green white green in an international events! How sad.
What are the north Africans doing differently? Can't that be replicated? Are those countries richer than Nigeria? Your best league players leave Nigeria league for any of the north African league before signing lucrative contract with a European team. Who reaps the rewards. A Nigeria football league player would first of all attend trials in Europe before being signed for a paltry sum and when that is signed, there are always fights and acrimonies between the parent clubs and the football bodies but it does not happen like that when a north African team is involved.
I expect to see all the football experts talking about these and proffering solutions but no you,d rather see them arguing and lamenting that a certain boy with a Nigerian name was playing for the same country that invested and believed in him to excel. You,d expect to see people here discussing the good players in the league and the possibilities of them breaking into the Eagles team but no they,d rather boast of acquiring countless coaching certificates with zero knowledge of what football management is all about. But the list u quoted has about 3players groomed by the Nigerian youth system. Isn't that local enough abi na when we promote kwara poly graduates of "16" as local players you go believe say we no dey ignore our local grass root football? Guy grass root football in Nigeria is a big business and you can venture into it. If I tell you the number of boys that leave Diamond Academy umuahia for Europe yearly and that amount of money made by the team from these sales, u would be marveled. The owner of the Academy has even bought a third abi fourth division team to help in exposing his students to European football in the early stages of their career. You can do it, thats how Brazil produces their talents. Everything must not be done by the govt or the NFF |
